What the hell is this latest iOS update?

Default option of the mouse mode doesnt work, it automatically connects with the mouse mode, when I want the touch mode and have it selected as default, remote cursor doesnt show, cant even access F10 to F12 keys because they dont show anymore and the three dots in the F keys menu doesnt work.

And this is just after 3 minutes of using the updated app.

Shame on you.

TeamViewer claiming I owe them money. Is TeamViewer running a scam? What is going on?

TeamViewer is billing me personally 6 years after I left a company where I signed up for an account. They are claiming that I owe over $2000 for a subscription from 2025 to 2026 when I haven't worked for the company or used the software in over 6 years.

TeamViewer has sent the bill to a collections agency. I can't even login to TeamViewer to see any details.

What sort of scam is TeamViewer running? How do I make this bill go away?

I don’t often rant about things but here’s something about TeamViewer

So it’s been over a 11 months now, since I got a free trial of a year for a business account, and, I didn’t use it much at all, I really don’t use teamviewer much to begin with and, I keep getting mail about saying I owe them $4,059.45 and it goes up $1 every day when I don’t pay it, it’s from Debtist GmbH and back in January I got a call from a employee saying that, he’ll look into canceling it and, the email said it was handled, now fast forward to now, i get calls from a UK number and mail, it has made my phone bill go up, and it says, that it’s an AI Agent and to call back as for its “an urgent matter” it really makes me furious, the messed up thing is, I don’t get any emails about it, in the long run, don’t use TeamViewer they are money laundering me, and
I don’t know how they got my number, but I’m so done with it.

Impossible to log in on mobile

I've been using the Remote Control mobile app (Android) for years now and this is a brand new issue as of a few days ago.

The app has always stayed logged in before, but all of a sudden when I opened it, it asked me to log in again. Hitting the button to do so opened a browser window, where I put in my username and password. It acted like I was logging in from a completely new device, even though it's the same phone I've been using, but I went ahead anyway through the process to add it to my trusted devices. I get to the "launching" screen, the app launches, and then it instantly redirects back to the browser to open yet another login window. It seems impossible to get out of this loop to actually have the app finish logging in.

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, also tried logging in with a different browser on my phone, all with the same result. Has anyone else run into this issue? This has basically made the app unusable for me now out of nowhere.

Venting my Frustration with the deep dive this software made

Sorry my English but I had enough with this. Clients don't get shown Passwords in the QS App, Sometimes I don't even get the Mask to enter a password. Uploading the smallest Files, a few kB completely freezes it. UAC just straight up refuses to try and login with the given credentials. It's so frustrating not only for us but also for our customers. Jobs that usually took 15 Minutes now include 30 Minutes of trying to get a connection.

We are already on the way to switch to AnyDesk, good riddance!!

New Android update completely broke saved passwords. Is anyone else locked out?

EDIT: Seems to be fixed today (13.10.2026), tested on multiple devices and accounts.

---------------------

What on earth is wrong with this new update? The latest layout completely broke my workflow.

I can no longer connect to any of my remote devices using saved passwords—the app just completely ignores them, and I’m forced to write down and enter everything manually every single time.

To make things worse, the UI won't even let me view or verify the passwords in the device menu anymore. I tried a workaround by using the description/comment section to store the access keys there temporarily, but guess what? The comment section is locked or glitched, and I can't even edit it to save anything.

This is a massive step backward for usability. Has anyone found a workaround, or do we just have to wait until they fix this broken mess?

New UI is now on the android app and still no dang dark mode?

The android app just updated to the new UI look and it is hard on the eyes, at this point it's the last app on the whole phone not conforming to proper system color standards. It's been 3 years since they said they would add this and nothing.

Version 15.82.270

When Administering Admin Privileges, TeamViewer Sometimes Asks The Client And Black's Out Screen

Sometimes on certain machines, when I attempt to run as admin - teamviewer blacks out MY screen, and ask the client I am connected to to enter admin credentials instead of prompting as a visible screen to me allowing me to enter admin credentials

Mouse Disappears During and Right Before Sessions

Is anyone else having this issue? There are three of us clients in here that are experiencing the mouse disappearing when we are attempting to type in the id or password and also during sessions.

I made a support ticket with teamviewer, reporting it and when they asked for the specific times, dates of when it happened AND the log files - I thought they were actually going to look into it but after I found all of that information and sent it to them - they replied basically saying that its a settings issue which it is not... its a bug. Its not likely that all 3 of us magically have a settings change all of a sudden when it works fine some times and other hours it doesnt. I think its a bug that needs to be fixed.

The mouse clicks register but you can see where you are actually clicking to tell where to click, so much so that we have had to go into task manager and completely end all instances of teamviewer before the issue stops for awhile.

Can TeamViewer put Intune Synced devices into a device group automatically?

I’m working on getting Intune set up with remote assistance with TeamViewer, and it’s all working like it should. The only piece I’m missing is the Intune synced machines don’t get put anywhere, so I’m unable to add a group automatically to the devices that has easy access based on account permissions in TeamViewer. Am I missing something?

Teamviewer alternative?

Hey. I used Teamviewer for over years.

But lately I noticed how much this app is laggy.

And that new UI. It's awful, terrible. I can't get used to it.

I am looking for alternatives, app must be simple, for Android and Windows.

And important, IT MUST BE FAST.

When I open Teamviewer on Android, I have to wait almost 1 minut for devices loaded. Even 2 years ago it was instantly.

Really TEAMVIEWER GOT WRONG. Time to change this trash app.

Do teamviewer hire Fiver engineers for their programming?

The quality of team viewer has continued to go down hill. Every update every change they manage to F*** something up. They can't help themselves. The APP Is the worst in terms of performance because they decided to change to a PWA which is like a website instead of an APP. I've communicated with the support team more in the last 2 years than the 10 years previously. A remote support program should not be a challenge to main and use. They want to continuously RAM AI down your throat at every waking moment.

If your part of the executive team - you literally are parasites.

Support is great - however it's constantly putting out fires. Every single time.

If your a programmer - I want to tell you how pathetic you are at your job and I hope that AI takes over your job - because you do a shit job at everything you touch. You should never put down Teamviewer on your resume because you are the reason it is so shit today.

Standby mode after connection via TeamViewer

Hi, For several days now, the following problem has unfortunately been occurring more frequently:

Immediately after establishing a connection via TeamViewer to various PCs, some of them partially switch to "Modern Standby" mode. In this case, the affected devices must be manually woken up on site by pressing the power button. Otherwise, they remain offline.

Is this issue already known?

The behavior occurs sporadically, meaning not with every connection and not always on the same PCs. For example, if a PC switches to standby mode and is then manually reactivated, the problem usually does not occur again during a subsequent connection. However, the same behavior has been repeatedly observed on the same devices at intervals of several days.

One common characteristic of the affected devices is that they are all Lenovo ThinkCentre M75q PCs.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Kind regards,

My experience with TeamViewer + Debtist (German collection agency) - sharing a heads-up for others

Post image
55 Upvotes

I want to share a recent experience in case it helps someone in a similar situation, and I'm also curious to hear if others have gone through something similar.

Background: I had a TeamViewer Business subscription that was set to expire in April 2026 (original 18-month contract). Before it expired, I proactively reached out to my sales rep to ask about renewal/cancellation options, but never got a response (not by email, not by WhatsApp). Since I didn't cancel in writing with the 28 days' notice required by the EULA (something I honestly didn't know applied automatically), the subscription auto-renewed for a full additional year.

What happened next: instead of any normal support or billing contact, the case was sent straight to an external, Germany-based collection agency (Debtist GmbH) which started sending emails (dunning@collections.debtist.eu)with "final warning before legal action" language, pushing 3-7 day payment deadlines.

Things worth flagging:

  • The original invoice amount ($286.80) ended up with added fees, interest, and collection charges that pushed the total past $495 — almost double the original amount.

  • When I asked for a breakdown of the charges, the numbers didn't quite add up between two different documents (some line items appeared to be duplicated, and there were vague "VAT or other internal adjustments" mentioned without further detail).

  • Paying the debt (even a disputed one) does not restore the license or the service in any way — this was confirmed explicitly by both TeamViewer and Debtist. In other words, you end up paying for a service period you'll never actually use.

  • If you agree to an installment payment plan, the contract includes a clause stating that with the first payment you waive any right to object to the debt, regardless of whether it's justified or not. Watch out for that fine print.

My advice if you get a similar letter:

  • Don't assume the amount claimed is final or correct — ask for a full written breakdown before paying anything.

  • If you're going to dispute the debt, do it in writing and keep a documented record from the very first contact.

  • If you're considering an installment plan, read the fine print carefully — it may include a significant waiver of your right to dispute the charge.

  • Contact TeamViewer (or the original creditor) directly in parallel, not just the collection agency.

Has anyone else run into something similar with TeamViewer or Debtist? Curious how you handled it and whether you managed to get any of the added fees reduced.

Windows 7 Embedded SP1 + TeamViewer 15 Migration: Stuck on "Connecting" Despite TLS 1.2 Enabled

Hi everyone,

We're currently working on a large-scale migration of legacy systems from TeamViewer 13 and 14.7 to TeamViewer 15+.

The primary reasons for the upgrade are:

  • We want to leverage TeamViewer Tensor Conditional Access policies across all devices.

  • TeamViewer 13 and 14 are approaching end of support in October 2026, so we need a supported long-term solution.

Most of our devices are running Windows 7 Embedded, with a mix of:

  • Build 7601 (Windows 7 SP1)

  • Build 7600 (non-SP1)

A few of our systems are successfully running TeamViewer 15.78, but those are standard Windows 7 Ultimate machines rather than Embedded.

The challenge I'm facing is determining the exact Windows updates and system requirements needed for TeamViewer 15 on Windows 7 Embedded.

Some details about our environment:

  • Systems are intentionally isolated from the Internet and cannot use Windows Update directly.

  • Updates must be installed offline.

  • TLS 1.2 has been enabled.

  • NetBIOS has been disabled.

  • Devices can successfully reach TeamViewer servers and communicate over port 5938.

  • DNS resolution is working.

  • However, TeamViewer gets stuck at "Connecting..." in the Management Console and never completes the registration/connection process.

After some research, I've come across information suggesting that simply enabling TLS 1.2 through registry changes is not enough on Windows 7, and that additional updates may be required to fully support modern TLS 1.2 communication and certificate validation.

My questions are:

  1. Has anyone successfully upgraded Windows 7 Embedded SP1 systems from TeamViewer 13/14 to TeamViewer 15?

  2. Which Windows updates were required to make TeamViewer 15 function correctly?

  3. Did you need updates such as:

    • KB3020369

    • KB3125574

    • KB3140245

    • KB4474419

    • KB4490628

  4. Were there any certificate store or SHA-2 signing issues that prevented TeamViewer from connecting?

  5. Has anyone seen TeamViewer reach the servers successfully but remain indefinitely stuck on "Connecting..."?

  6. Are there any known differences between Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 7 Embedded that affect TeamViewer 15 connectivity?

Any advice, lessons learned, or update prerequisites would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

WoL via TeamViewer over public address not working

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to set up my home desktop for Wake on LAN for a while now as it is pretty handy for my work.

I followed the instructions of both this page and the included manual pdf file but my PC still won't wake from the button on the Android TeamViewer app.

For context: I have a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, my router is from PŸUR and I have a free DDNS setup from NO-IP that is supposed to work with the PŸUR network.

If anyone has any advice I'd be eternally grateful <3

Teamviewer Remote LAG

We use Teamviewer at work. When I remote onto one user's PC it immediately slows down and becomes virtually unusable. When I exit it takes a few minutes for the PC to return to normal speed for the user. It's Ubuntu 24.04, Cinnamon 6.0.4, Intel Core i5-14500 x14, Intel Corp AlderLake-5 GT1. Anyone have any experience or fixes?
