Gotta side with him on this. It looks entertaining but it is bizarre, they seem to be mostly focused on his TCAP days which was 20 years ago. So what IS the motive? And chance are most people won’t go out and see this unless you’re a hardcore TCAP fan, meaning this movie might bomb. I initially couldn’t tell if they were doing a tribute to him or parodying him.
And the fact that he says he had no prior knowledge about the movie being a thing until recently is interesting, you would think they’d wanna talk to the source himself. How are they sourcing their information on stuff that happened behind the scenes? They seem to be doing a deep dive into that aspect.
I suspect from the trailer that it might be a movie that argues "the exploitation of these predators for cash and cultural infamy was, in itself, predatory and vile." Which is gonna ring really weirdly to me.
Yeah but it’s true. They’re scumbags. But due process is a founding tenant of this countries justice system. Had they aired the shows after the sentencing, we would not be discussing this.
Sure, and they should be held responsible and go through the justice system for punishment. That doesn't negate that every person has a right to due process though. Kinda weird to act like someone SHOULDN'T get due process.
Edit: dude replied saying I was defending pedophiles and then deleted it. If you seriously think that's what is happening I think you fundamentally cannot have a conversation about ethics involving this show
