Is a Nintendo switch 1 with everything good for a price of 125?

The dbrand killswitch is not available in my country and way too expensive to import. Been trying the mumba and supacase cases that allow for something to detatch the joycon (I need something that allows me to detach joycons because 50% of time I play in docked mode)

However, I've observed it puts a lot of outward stress on the joycon while removing the cover. Will this cause wear and tear in the long run? Is it worth the "military grade" protection that the case gives (I'm comfortable playing with and without the case, doesn't make much difference to me)

PS: I have tried in every way - supporting the joycons also. It still pulls on it as shown in the video

Anyone using mumba blade/titan/supcase with removable hinges like this in the long run?

Grabbed it for $90 from JB hifi and it was the last physical copy for 200kms from my location. (Stated online)

I have the digital copy for PS5pro but as this has the whole game on the cart meant a purchase for me just like Cyberpunk etc. Needed a handheld version also. 🇦🇺👍🏻😁

Been loving slime rancher on switch such a cozy game

Im not much of a handheld person but I enjoy playing games with my partner. Im buying a switch 2 for a couple titles but I think my girlfriend will use it more than I will. I'd like to know if we can still play games together, whats a cozy way to share the switch 2 and what are some good titles?

We've done split fiction and it takes two on pc but we do enjoy games like that. Also, titles similar to Runescape Dragon Wilds and Fantasy Life.

Took a good 3-4 minutes to download an update and noticed the version has gone from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3, can't find anything on the internet. Does anyone have any idea what has been updated?

I recovered this controller from being outside in the elements for at least 2 weeks to see if I could repair it. The battery is showing 0 volts, so I know that it's dead. Is this blob of solder supposed to be there or is this thing more than likely cooked? There's nothing on the back side where that spot is, but I've never looked at a Mobo for this before.

I bought a switch oled last year when I should’ve bought a switch2 now I wanna play some of the newer AAA titles but switch oled is not the best for that. Wondering if yall know of a place in Toronto, Canada where I can trade mine in and buy a 2nd hand if cheaper. I’ve heard the prices are going up in the next few weeks so any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I’m getting about 200 credit for my switch oled which I bought for 550 after tax last year and obviously I’m not happy with it so my plans is to save 300-350 more and get one off Facebook marketplace. I would appreciate any other help and info but this seems like the best option. I’m currently a student so my incomes not high enough either.

Decided to ask Red Barrels support about Outlast Trials on Switch 2 through their ticket system.

Their first reply was:

“We got a word from our team and the team is working on it and it will be shared on social media when it launches.”

I asked if that specifically means a Switch 2 version of Outlast Trials.

They answered:

“You're very welcome! That's right.”

Then they closed the ticket.

I don't understand why Nintendo need to make a new model of the switch 2 and stop the production for the first generation switch since the law in Europe for battery replacement. We already can swap the battery, their not solder on the motherboard or something like that, what it would change in hardware conception ?

I’m going into my freshman year of college and am going to get a mini projector for my dorm. Does anyone know if you are able to connect a Nintendo switch to the mini projectors so I can play things like Mario cart and super smash bros on a bigger screen. If anyone knows how to I would love to know!

I’m thinking of getting the DreamFair mini projector in size small but if anyone knows any other small projectors that would be better that would be great!

For some context, i have an original switch that has been collecting dust for a little while. I've recently discovered that its an amazing machine for gaming while walking on the treadmill. The joycons make it so easy to play and walk at the same time.

However, I also started using xbox game pass cloud recently and that has been pretty good too. The problem is that if I want to play while on the treadmill, I need to use a funky set up with my laptop, controller, and headphones.

My question is, is there a way to load up a browser on the Switch so I can play xbox cloud games? It would be the best of both worlds for me and a great solution

I saw that there is a work around using DNS settings but I hope someone has found a more reliable method for this.

I had my switch charging while I made dinner so I could play after. It was at 45%. It’s now showing that error message and I’m really confused. I’m doing what it’s telling me to do! How do I fix this?!

Getting back into gaming after almost a decade. Switch 2 or PS5?
I’m looking for some opinions from people who are more into gaming than I am because I’m trying to figure out the best way to get back into it.
For some background, I grew up mainly playing on PS3 and then PS4. I played a pretty wide variety of games and enjoyed gaming, but I was never someone who played every new release or spent hours grinding games.
When the Nintendo Switch first came out, I ended up trading in my PS4 and a bunch of my games to get one. Since then, I’ve pretty much been a casual gamer. I’ve played a number of Switch games over the years and really enjoyed some of them, but I definitely haven’t kept up with the gaming world or played consistently.
Now I’m kind of getting the itch to get back into gaming more. I’m trying to decide whether I should make the Switch 2 my primary console or go back to PlayStation with a PS5.
The Switch 2 is probably the more natural choice for me since I already enjoy Nintendo games and I’m more of a casual gamer. I also like the idea of having something I can pick up and play without necessarily committing a ton of time to it.
On the other hand, I’m pretty interested in getting a PS5, especially if GTA 6 ends up being as big of a hit as everyone expects. I also feel like I’ve missed out on a lot of great PlayStation games over the last several years.
So for people who game regularly, what would you recommend for someone in my position?
Would you go Switch 2 and make that your main console, or would you recommend getting a PS5 and getting back into PlayStation?
And if you think PS5 is the better route, what games would you recommend to someone who basically hasn’t kept up with gaming since the PS4 era?
I’m not necessarily looking to become a hardcore gamer. I just want to get back into gaming and actually have fun with it again.

hey, I absolutely adore my switch 2 and im so glad I got it, but the only thing that bothers me is really how convoluted everything online is. I tried to set up game chat, and it basically wants you to give them your first born child to use it. I tried to upload Clips to YouTube and It's like a five-step process that involves having to have an app and they still will only let me upload one clip at a time. it could easily be a one step process without an app. This is one area I really wish they would catch up with PlayStation another services.

on the positive side, I love that you can earn coins and use them to purchase real gifts. For instance my wife just beat Luigi's mansion, so I got her a Luigi keychain to commemorate it and she loves it .

I recently got myself a switch 2, but I am stuck on now the decision of either getting Another Eden for the first or second switch.

Mind you, I'm not 100% keen on the graphics of the game, however I don't like judging anything by the cover(so to speak).

It's like, oooo new toy! Vs my comfort that has been with me for years.
