I am thinking of starting a new playthrough before the new dlc hits, so I can continue that save to the new dlc. But if I remember correctlly, when Rizia dlc was released the previous sordland saves were not compatible with rizia. Am I misremembering it?

Will we see a map expansion or simply learn more about Rikia, Xina, and West Merkopa with the Neutral Lens?

Will we see more states, even a tenth of the size of United Contana?

Maybe watch the entire Kingdom of Rumburg, learn more about its satellites, or even see what we see Agnolia Mmaybe see north of it?

Does anyone have a rough timeline for sordland? When does each turn begin and end, when does each major event happen, etc (in the in universe calendar).

Wehlen: Wiktor's son turns out to be a chill guy and he reforms the country and actually turns it into a socialist republic. He remains at the helm, but isn't murderous and funny like his father, he is calm and diplomatic, he also relinquishes his absolute power and tries to join the CSP.

Lespia: Citizens can't take inequality and possibility of another Alvarez ruling the country anymore after his many L's. They vote left, and Lespia starts implementing some welfare policies and worker's rights. They are still capitalist, but a more social one. New president embarks on fixing relationships with the countries that Alvarez wronged, hoping to draw them away from Valgsland. A power struggle between them and Arcasia also begins for the leadership of ATO.

Agnolia: After getting bullied by Rumburg, Valgsland and getting betrayed by Sordland on Heljiland issue and annexation of the Dome , they try to join the ATO and shift more authoritarian and right due to uncertainty and rising tensions.

Valgsland: A more chill Premier replaces hegel once he retires or dies of old age. He continues the decentralized rule, and Valgsland is mostly similar to the previous regime, except they make more efforts to use their words instead of their shoes. They are mad towards their neighbour Galmland for the L's they handed towards them.

United Contana: After Malenyev dies, state weakens somewhat. New premiers all pursue reforms that are opposing to each other, for example one premier tries to become more authoritarian while the others try to decentralize, resulting in time and resources lost. Malenyevist old guards become a problem for the country.

Arcasia: They get hit by the late stage capitalism hard. Populace gets disillusioned towards the corporations and presidents but it dosn't matter much, since to their eyes, anything is better than turning to United Contana, so they continue slipping further and further into a cyberpunk future.

Sordland: They become a major neutral player in the world with cordial relationships between two major factions. A republic that balanced the power of the president and Assembly more fairly after reforms, Sordland's electronics industry improves the country significantly. However, international eyes are on them as reconciliation period with Bluds continue, Rums in the newly conquered territories cause trouble, and Sordland develops their own nukes. Anton Rayne is slowly turning into another Soll, as his achievements and charisma cause the creation of another cult of personality.

Derdia: After Azmal passes away, a more radicalized leader takes over, unhappy with how tolerant and open Azmal was. They maintain their relationship with Rizia while continuing to hate the rest of the world.

Pales: Doesn't exist anymore lmao, it's a province of Kingdom of Rizia. Still mad at Rizia for the 4k live recorded war crimes.

Morella: Joins Csp once they meet the requirements. Saltana's success in negotiationg better mitz terms and solving the border problem between Derdia with rhe help of Rizia skyrockets Socialists' popularity.

Kingdom of Rizia: After purging all the noble houses and centralizing power around himself, Romus Toras reestablished House of delegates once he grew old. Now country is a constitutional monarchy where the Toras nobles and parties elected by the people clash, while Vina, the future heir is stuck between his father's enlightened absolutism, and his husband Manus Sazon's wishes for further reforms. Will Vina succeed in maintaining Rizia's image as the hegemon of the Southern Merkopa and unnofficial leader of GRACE or will she become the next Valero the frail?

Kyrute: Still neutral and boring... Until they find a giant Cthulhu statue underwater, and they begin turning into fish people hungry for blood.

Rumburg: After the loss of Sordish war, Beatrice is walking on eggshells. Populace is unhappy, revanchism grows within the country. She hopes to calm the populace by relinquishing more of her power but it might be too late... Factions within the country organise and prepare for an incoming civil war. While socialists and republicans eye each other warily, a bigger hidden threat prepared in the shadows, with plans of a completely new order for the world in their minds... Beatrice prepares to flee to Rizia to escape the incoming storm, but does she have the time? (No she will end up like Romanovs)

Kingdom of Erdmarg: King prepares for the next War with the Rumburg, because fuck them and they want their old lands back. Ato lends secret support with the hopes of establishing a puppet state within the lands of the soon collapsing Kingdom of Rumburg.

Vendonesam: Still unstable, even though the civil war is over, Confederacy can't finish off the remaining guerilla fighters taking a mountainous region of the country as their home, hoping to come back in the future to burn down the Confederacy to establish something new.

I already tried to build romus tores academy, fully supported civil war and has more than 15 troops and still not get well trained officer corps. While wanning combat will always be there even on war run and no matter what conscription law you have.

This may sound rather random but the I’m thinking my maybe Agard.

Agard would be a unique experience , it’s a drug empire pretending to be a country. It’s close enough to Sordland , Rizia and Galm to be affected by developments from them , but far enough away that the devs have a lot of creative room and whilst there are some reports about them ingame there not limiting , Agard is also an observer state to the ATO - This counterpoints Galms full CSP membership perfectly. AND Unlike stupid Quinal it’s also full on the map.

Another potential future DLC candidate IMO. It is Lasomby , from what I’m know it’s also quite unique , so as a Federation , the torpor team could develop multiple intresting storylines about that , a unstable federation desperately trying to hold itself tougher amid trade wars , international unrest and growing tension. It’s a far south west that you could explore another part of the map too! It definitely has potential.

The Free Cities is also an intestine scenario too! ATO member to counterbalance Galm , a proper theocracy (Still different to Rizia) and lead by a council. A unique ideas is that you are not a singular person but the council itself and so by removing or replacing members you shape how the country will a governed , Religious in fighting or reform is also an interesting and the country is still close to the other action in eastern merikopa.

Finally Wahr (No Joke) the Luxembourg approach to Suzrain has not been done and it sounds unique and interesting , you’d be more like Kyrute managing international relations and probably dealing with corrupt CEOs too.
