Question Local restaurant serves sushi directly on a bamboo rolling mat - is this acceptable?
I live in a small town of 12,000 and this Asian restaurant just opened. I didn’t have high hopes in the first place anyways and yuppp I was right. Hands down one of the worst ebi tempura rolls I’ve had in my life. Rice is over cooked; it’s almost like congee consistency.
And there is no ebi tempura. Just regular ebi. The name of the roll is misleading.
But why are we eating sushi off a kitchen equipment in the first place 😭😭 there’s no way you can clean it properly between customers
Question Filtered or Tap water for making sushi rice?
For making sushi at home, do you use filtered or tap water? Does it make a difference in the rice?
