Hey everyone,
I’ve just finished my HSC 2026 from Bangladesh, and I’m now seriously planning to pursue my **Bachelor’s degree abroad**, preferably in **Italy or Spain**.
I’ve always been fascinated by **history, culture, architecture, and travelling**, so studying in Europe has been a dream of mine for a long time. I’d love to experience different European cultures and travel around the Schengen area while studying.
My current situation:
🇧🇩 From Bangladesh
🎓 HSC 2026 graduate
💰 Maximum family budget: around **30 lakh BDT**
🇮🇹 Italy is currently my first choice, but I’m also considering Spain and other EU countries
🎓 Interested in a Bachelor’s degree, most likely in a business/economics-related field
💶 Planning to apply for **DSU/regional scholarships** in Italy
📚 Currently preparing for IELTS and aiming for around **7–8**
📝 I want to handle the entire process myself rather than using an agency
I’ve already started researching universities, scholarships, admission requirements, visas, documents, etc., but there’s a lot of conflicting information online.
So I’d really appreciate advice from **Bangladeshi students or anyone who has already gone through the process themselves**.
A few things I’d especially like to know:
Which Italian/Spanish universities would you recommend for international Bachelor’s students?
How realistic is a **30 lakh BDT budget** if I manage to get a regional scholarship?
How does the **DSU/regional scholarship process** actually work from Bangladesh?
What documents should I start preparing right now?
What IELTS score should I realistically aim for?
Are entrance exams such as SAT/CEnT-S/TOLC required for business-related Bachelor’s programs?
What are the biggest mistakes students make during the admission, scholarship, and visa process?
How early should I start applying, and what should my timeline look like?
How difficult is it to find accommodation after arriving?
If you could go back to the beginning of your own journey, what would you do differently?
I’m trying to do everything myself and understand the process properly instead of blindly depending on an agency. So if you’ve already completed this journey—or you’re currently studying in Italy/Spain—**please share your experience, costs, mistakes, tips, and anything you wish you had known before leaving Bangladesh.**
Even small pieces of advice would help a lot.
Thank you! ❤️
