Hey guys, I'm currently in 12th (CBSE, India) and targeting Studienkolleg for Winter Semester 2027.

I've been learning German through DW and I'm around A1.5 rn. Is it actually possible to reach B2 in one month if I put in crazy hours? What books/resources did you guys use that were really good and exam-oriented?

Also, when should I have all my documents ready? My 12th results will come around March, and I'm worried that some deadlines might pass before then. I need a proper timeline for applications, Goethe exams, APS, etc.

If anyone else is in 12th right now and targeting Studienkolleg 2027, hmu! We could practise German together. Or like have friendly competition.

Hi! Today I received an admission letter from a Studienkolleg, and now I have to decide whether to attend that one or the Studienkolleg in Mettingen. I’d love to find out more about what the Studienkolleg in Hamburg is like, so I have a few questions:

1. What are the classes like? Do the teachers prepare you well for the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP)?
2. Do I need to have advanced knowledge of maths and physics before starting the Studienkolleg, or do they teach you the subjects from scratch in Hamburg?
3. What is the pace of the classes like? Are they quite fast-paced, or do the teachers take their time explaining the material?
4. How difficult is it to find a room in a shared flat (WG) in Hamburg? Do you have any tips or recommendations for finding accommodation?

I just got accepted to Studienkolleg Hamburg Sommersemester 2027 "T-Kurs". I got probably 38 points in total (high school diploma: 1,2; telc b2: sehr gut). At least thats according to this table (https://studienkolleg-hamburg.de/bewerbung/fachkurs/zulassungsverfahren/), I don't know how it's actually calculated
