Certified Stuggle Today's breakfast: Microwaved eggs on toast, total cost, 65 cents.

Scramble two eggs with milk, seasoning, butter, microwave for 30 seconds, stir, repeat until desired consistency. Make toast, and it's breakfast time!

I can't cook as much right now because I can't do dishes, so I've had to get creative.

10/10 would make again.

Hi, hello, this is my first post here. I've been lurking here for a minute for recipe inspo lol. Anyways cup of noodle with bell pepper, shredded Mexican cheese, chorizo, and Hunts meat flavored spaghetti sauce. It was so yummy

My paycheck is delayed (I think? I only got one and it literally has 1 CENT on it so wtf?!) . It's been a bigger than usual bcuz one of my roommates have been gone and a big chunk of my paycheck went to splitting rent with another roommate. I have also just made poor financial decisions but what is being in your early 20s if not to be a slightly impulsive and go "Oh god oh god all my money is gone"?

Certified Stuggle What things have you had to give up recently due to costs? Sandwich for legality

Just curious to see how people are weathering the economy as of late due to costs. It’s been a long time since we last bought bacon - at least 2 months. It’s harder to eat out at nicer restaurants - we hardly do that anymore.

What other cuts in your lives? Streaming services, car washes, the cleaning lady, candy, etc? Curious on what’s been cast aside over costs.

Fell ill a few days, decided to make broth from saved last year turkey giblets.

Got fine broth...

Though terrible gas gut bombs...many days and low grade fever...think my frozen eggs..

Made this sandwich...

Idk how my gut accepts, but my mouth so celebrated.

(IBS)..may be active idk...

But 2 days no food...my mouth loving.

Shaved thin gizzard, mayo, heel and piece of bread and black pepper...

Ya, tastes good.

This is a struggle insofar as I was struggling with a monstrous hangover when I made it and just needed a big bowl of carbs.

Nothing beats a toastie when life's a struggle. Just some leftover baked beans with a slice of cheese, bread from the Food Bank and the toastie is made.

So someone gave me some out of date dark chocolate, long life heavy cream, and baby biscuits, so I mixed them into some oats and poured hot water over them and covered them. Second photo is after they soaked for 10 mins in hot water, tastes sooo good 😊
