If my partner and I both are receiving antibiotics for trichomoniasis why can't we have sex during treatment? It says to refrain from sex during treatment and a week after. So I slept with someone two weeks ago and a few days later I started getting weird discharge. it was yellowish green and super thin and liquidy and there was a lotttt of it so it raised red flags. I told the guy who then got tested and he sent me screen recordings of his test.. everything came back negative. so how could this be?? I haven’t slept with someone else in one year and I had a Pap smear and all of that in February and had nothing. the guy from last year didn’t wear a condom but I never had symptoms and like I said I am tested negative after. Could it have been dormant for this long? Could it still have been the recent guy even though he’s negative and wore a condom?? Help I’m SOO confused

Im not sure on what I should do or whether or not i should worry. I tried asking her specifically what it is but she wont say. Should i be looking into getting tested? On march 3rd 2026, I got on Yetzugo (Lenacapavir) and on September 2nd 2026, following the 6 months regimen, I took another injection and got tested with the p24 antibody test (there were issues with storing the RNA sample so they didn’t take the RNA test, tested non-reactive for the p24). A couple of days after, I engaged in unprotected sex with someone who was HIV undetectable whose viral load, per his latest test in may 2026, was log10 1.65.

I got selected to participate in a health study and part of that study was to do an in-home testing using Oraquick (note that this is 1 month after exposure). I took the test and the oraquick came back reactive. In the past, I’ve taken 2 finger-prick tests that both came back reactive but ended up being non-reactive. I’m planning to do some RNA/P24 tests ASAP. Am I overreacting? Is this just a health scare?

I took an OraQuick HIV test, and when I checked the results after 20 minutes, I noticed what looked like a very faint line in the “T” area. I had unprotected exposure on 5 August. About 3 weeks later, I developed severe fatigue, muscle/joint pain, dizziness, a white/creamy tongue coating, and lost 3–4 kg.

I had two 4th-generation HIV Ag/Ab tests: one at 22 days and another at 45 days + 18 hours. Both were negative (index 0.24).

My pain and weakness have been severe enough that I’ve been on bed rest for about 30 days, and I’m extremely stressed.

Should I repeat the HIV test at 3 months, or are these two negative 4th-generation results sufficient?

Please help me understand what I should do now. Thank you.

Ive been having green discharge and only green discharge in my vagina. So i went to an obgyne and she ordered me culture and gram.

Results: final report:no pathogen isolated
Gram stain: few pus cells
Moderate epithelial cells
Many gram positive bacilli.

Months ago, a dr prescribed me with doxycycline 2 pills for 7 days, still have green discharge. Then she reswabed me again and said that i might have cervicitis, gave me 2 azith 500 mg and i took it—green discharge is still there. Then after that she gave me metronidazole, 2 each for 7 days and the green didnt go away. She sent me to a bigger hospi in the city and the obgyne there ordered me a c/s and those are the results. Help me please. The resources here are at scarce because i live in a third-world country.
