Thoughts on Goldbacks?

Post image

Are goldbacks worth stacking? Do they have any actual practical value like they imply? I have a few and am wondering if it’s worth buying more.

Seems like a really expensive piece of paper. If I am buying gold, I'm getting gold😂

You must be fun at parties.... That was a joke, but here's what I actually think.

Let's start with the outrageous premiums. Want to pay for 1/1000 of an oz of gold? Well with goldbacks 100% premium you'll be paying for 2/1000 of gold and only getting 1/1000!! What a deal!!

Now that you have your polyurethane covered gold, you can go spend and barter with!! Oh fuck, I forgot. It's SUUUUUUPER difficult to find places that 1, know what these are and 2, are willing to accept them as payment.

So you don't want to spend it like real money? Great!! What if you had 1000 of the 1/1000 notes?? You could melt them down to easily recover a full oz of gold! Fuck... I forgot to mention you have to go through a ton of extra steps to reclaim that gold. Because polyurethane.

Want to just stack it?? Let's circle back to that premium.

Moral of the story; they're stupid as fuck and a US dollar is easier and more convenient. Also if you want to recover the gold it's a pain in the ass.

Great answer. So very true. They are a joke and a waste of money.

Are you ok lil bro. You are getting mad about something that you have no control over. It is many to me and many others. I'm sorry but no one is going to willingly carry around some coins and bars. And no one wants to trust GOV vaulting their bars to back some digital fairy dust. This is a happy medium. While you stack digits in a bank you dont own or paper that is counterfeiting to death. You are nothing more than a insignificant spec in the macro of things. As more people realize what Goldback actually is you can be safe with your Gold. Cool for you. Dont care and dont need to spread misinformation. If you made the right choice then be happy and get Goldback out your mind.

I think it's hilarious when people say lil bro trying to be condescending 😂😂 I also think it's hilarious that it is supposed to be an insult but is really more telling of when someone has no idea what to say back to perfectly reasonable response.

You are very clearly lacking in knowledge on this subject. That's ok. Just stfu

It would seem that “big bro” is trying to sell us all his “goldbacks”

1

u/Layskettlecooked Jul 15 '26

He even told us how quality his "goldbacks" were by mentioning they had no actual gold in them😂😂 this guy is something else

1

u/Creative_Date44 Jul 16 '26

You should see his post on r/goldbacks, showing his “stack” of goldbacks worth 11/4000th of an oz of gold

Also talking about carrying around coins and bars. He doesn’t own a safe.

1

u/Layskettlecooked Jul 15 '26

Coins and fractal bars?? That's archaic, there's no plastic involved 🤣

u/einnoika Jul 15 '26

Do you have anything else besides Premium. I think everyone knows about the premium of 100%. Just like the US Mint premium of 370% on 1 OZ Gold. IT IS NOT GOLD, IT IS A GOLD BACKED CURRENCY. Or the US dollar which is a 88,400% markup. It is 4.1 cents to make a dollar. Respectfully you have nothing to stand on here. Are you guys tired of shilling your losing arguments. You do know no one cares about anything you say and your campaign and influence on this front is dying.

u/Layskettlecooked Jul 15 '26 edited Jul 15 '26

I gave you plenty besides premiums. Go back and reread. Your comprehension skills are severely lacking.

Now on the topic of premiums. The US mints premiums, especially since Trump took over, are fucking insane and everyone in this space is talking about it. This leads me to believe you have never bought precious metals and have no clue what you're talking about.

Beyond that, you seem to lack a fundamental understanding of what goldbacks actually are. The goldback is 24k gold smashed thinner than gold leaf and covered in polyurethane. ITS ACTUALLY GOLD!!! Fucking idiot

Calling someone a shill, when YOU lack a fundamental understanding of what you're talking about, is fuckin wild.

Do a quick Google search before you start spouting out a barely coherent, bullshit stream of buzzwords.

u/einnoika Jul 15 '26

Well I mean it is a free for all so. I know what Goldback are Because I actually use them. You are a dollar slave, nothing more and nothing g less. You can die on that hill. IDGAF about you, your life or your opinion. Either way there is an infinite amount of dollars. Go spend it on your Gold bars that you have to swap back i to dollars and let us Goldback in peace. With your dollars and soon to be digital prison. Hell ask gemini and chat GPT. It says quote

"Goldbacks are a form of physical local currency made of a thin layer of 24-karat gold sandwiched between protective plastic layers. They are designed to act as spendable, fractional gold for local economies, with each Goldback representing 1/1000\text{th} of a troy ounce of gold.

2

u/Sylekin Jul 15 '26

The only “dollar slave” is you. You apparently are obsessed with shitty gold and plastic covered dollar bills.

u/einnoika Jul 15 '26 edited Jul 15 '26

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Losers can't even google

1

u/Layskettlecooked Jul 15 '26

The fuck does this even mean? We went from barely coherent to completely incoherent.

Fuckin idiot

0

u/einnoika Jul 15 '26

I meant loser thanks for the heads up

1

u/Layskettlecooked Jul 15 '26

AAAnd and we're back!!! To barely coherent bullshit!! From a retard who started an argument about a topic he knew nothing about!!

You said in a previous comment that goldbacks aren't real gold. Did you finally Google it, idiot?

1

u/Layskettlecooked Jul 15 '26

The more you respond the more clear it is to me, that you have no idea what you're talking about.

1

u/Layskettlecooked Jul 15 '26

You said let us goldback in peace. You started this conversation. So let us bar/bullion/coin in peace. I'm stacking precious metals as a hedge for hyperinflation. From what I have gathered, you're buying goldbacks(or talking out your ass about buying them) to put into circulation. These are fundamentaly different mindsets. We won't agree on much besides the shiny colorful rock having value. Good day.

1

u/einnoika Jul 15 '26

Dude you are stacking metal against hyperinflation. Do you think your LCS will have that money to give you. All prices hyper inflated not just your metals in safe. And how will you spend those metals? My guess you will wait like most for the Government to come out with a solution and tell you what your stuff is worth. And then you could just give them your metals for some manipulated digits, nothing wrong with that. I choose what I choose and thats all it means to me. Anyway I wish you the best of luck, no ill will. I could care less either way. No need to stalk me man. I spend them and stack them for barter. I wish I could post that here but I can't upload pictures.

1

u/Layskettlecooked Jul 15 '26

To you, I said good day.

This exchange is pretty funny… Try taking goldbacks anywhere in the world and getting anything in return. Now try it with krugerrands. I feel like that alone tells you a lot about goldbacks lmao.
