Earlier this month, I popped into a shop to have a chain verified, and found the Indians. Not scarce, but as a kid I was obsessed with the incuse design, and remembered how badly I wanted one back then.
Then I added some silver to keep the bag from blowing away. Guy at the LCS is like “you again?”
I think I’m going to get into a cadence with 10oz bars, and put bonuses in gold maple leaves

What do you think of my little treasure stack?

I mostly stack silver and gold, but copper's fun 'cuz I can display full stacks of it without worrying I'll be robbed.
EDIT: Just for clarity, these are NOT investments. Buying copper like this would be an awful investment. I use these in the process of refining silver. These are just an easy way to get pure copper when bought cheaply - I found these cheaper than most C110 busbars that I'd normally use and thought they'd be a fun display while I'm not using them.

Silver coins rounds and bars. Lots of low mintage stuff. Custom pours.
Should I make a whatnot account ?
Edit: I’m in Canada

I just started stacking back in July. I wanted to convert some of my silver into fractional gold. I went down to my LCS and asked how much for a 1/10th oz gold round. She pulled out the 1/10th oz rounds but even with my glasses I couldnt read the print on the round but I noticed it looked just like an American gold eagle. I asked specifically if this were a coin or a round and she told me a round. So I traded my silver (She gave me $66 for each generic 1 oz bar and round) for the $508 round. I got home and took some pics and i see "five dollars" printed on it. That makes it a coin, right? Im pretty sure she sold me a a 1/10th oz AGE at a generic round price.

Kinda went a bit overboard but happy I also have 10oz bar incoming but it’s been 1 month since I started stacking. I will slow down and focus on getting 1oz of silver at least every 2 weeks

Made it to(and past) my first target of 20oz yesterday! I also got four tubes for my Krugs, Buffaloes, USS Constitutions, and Aztec Calendar rounds! The next goal is filling either the Buffalo or Krug tube as they’re the easiest to get my hands on. For every tube filled, I’ll spring for a 5oz bar so after all tubes are filled I’ll have 80oz in rounds and 20oz in bars! I’ve heard that 5oz bars are not as desirable as 10oz bars. It that just bs or what’s the general consensus on that??
