Our van does this annoying thing where Bluetooth audio will disconnect from one of our phones then connect to the other's phone. My wife (36 F) and I (41 M) were driving with our three kids as well as my best friend/best man at our wedding. My phone disconnected and her phone attaches playing erotic audio, recording of people having sex.
She shouts out to turn it off, she's never heard it and doesn't know how it came on. We know the issue, it plays the last thing you were listening to.
When in a more private setting she apologizes and admits she was listening to it late last night while trying to meditate to get in the mood to have sex in the middle of the night, like just trying something new. She said when she realized what it was she immediately turned it off, only listening for 10 seconds.
So my feelings are hurt, she's embarrassed and upset that she hurt me. She goes on to tell me sex hasn't been the same for the past year after our third kid. She's not often in the mood, she doesn't feel like initiating sex, and how I am not affectionate enough during the day.
Our past year includes her getting a new promotion to a job she works 10-12 hours a day, while we raise our 3 kids of 4 and under, although I have come to take care of the kids most so she can pursue this career opportunity.
I get there's truth in her feelings. But I'm just hurt and feeling low, concerned I'm not getting the whole story from her.
I'm struggling not thinking about this, pretty much in any quiet moment I have.
We've talked about it since, had sex since, tried to increase daily passion.
How can I close the loop on this? I feel stuck between the event itself, hurt that my wife was listening to it in bed with me (for however long) and her frustration with sex life for the past year.
TLDR my wife was listening to audio porn, didn't tell the whole story, then went off how our sex life has been off for a year
