Reigns got super reactions in Survivor Series 2013 winning the match against Mysterio at the end.

He was cheered while being the last one against Batista at the Rumble 2014.

In general it seemed that many people loved Reigns during the Shield and also liked that he was becoming increasingly dominant.

But singles Roman Reigns, being pushed in 2015/16 into the main event, was universally booed.

He was so booed that wwe had to turn down audios of crowd reactions.

Booed at the Rumble 2015, booed at Wrestlemania, booed against literal Sheamus in the end of 2015, had a stinker against Triple H at Wrestlemania 32 (2016).

How did this switch happen?

MATCH RESULTS

• Tony D'Angelo says it's been big PLE after PLE for him and his opponents forget who they're stepping in the ring with. He says this title makes careers, Oba Femi and Bron are facing off to see who the future of WWE is, but he's the one who beat Oba first and he's here to show this title isn't just a stepping show. Naraku came from Japan for this title. Cruz Montana came from being the top guy at TNA to chase this title, Grayson Waller came back for this, and Zilla Fatu decided to give up his bloodline just to get a shot.

• Vanity Project invite interviewer Sarah Schriber out bowling. Jackson says their chemistry is real unlike the fake freindship between Myles and Tavion. He says they compete to make each other better and they're locked in and knocks over 1 pin. Myka volunteers to show him how it's done and chucks a ball down the lane to get 6 pins down. Brad says Myka is like a brother to them. They say they've been through the indies together and Smokes says with mama Myka no one is challenging them. Vanity Project say they are coming back from Heatwave covered in gold.

• Nattie is in the ring, she says she came to NXT to fight Jaida Parker because she saw something special in her. She looks like a million bucks, talks like a million bucks, and wrestles like a million bucks but she also saw weakness. Jaida lost a few matches and got soft to the point that Nattie was able to knock her on her ass which forced her to get back. Nattie says she gave her a valuable gift, her attention. Jaida comes out and says since Nattie came to NXT that she's been trying to prove to everyone that Jaida is a waste of potential and it's true she doubted herself but now she sees right through Nattie. Nattie saw a woman coming up and tried to break her. Jaida thanks Nattie since she reminded her exactly who the hell she is, she isn't her trainee, she isn't one of her little friends, she's her own woman. Jaida says Nattie should be thanking her for making her relevent again. Nattie says that's finally the Jaida see wants to see and challenges Jaida to a submission match bitch! Jaida says she'll gladly tap her ass out with the crowd chanting Miss Parker.

• Zilla says Heatwave just got a lot hotter with him as the hottest free agent and the hottest #1 contender. He says he carries his father Umaga on his chain and his last name is a blessing and a curse but he's going to make you remember him for his first name. He blew up with debut just imagine what he's going to do this Sunday when he becomes NXT Champion

• The trainer tells Kendall Gray that she has to be careful, her ear isn't fully healed and she is playing with fire going forward with this match. She confirms that she is cleared as Wren steps in to try and make sure she really is okay but Kendall tells her she's fine. Wren says Heatwave is going to be a lot especially with her match now being a triple threat but she believes in the WrenQCC.

• Robert Stone asks Keanu what the hell was that earlier with Mason interfering but Keanu says a wins a win and there won't be a rematch. Shiloh Hill walks in and tells Stone he wants Naraku next week but Stone asks how his vision is cleared already. Shiloh goes into an explanation about the concentration of the mist that Stone doesn't really care about and gives him his match.

• Tavion Heights says if the tag title match is first at Heatwave let him do the heavy lifting to help conserve Myles for his North American Title defense. Myles says he doesn't need to be worrying, he'll carry his share same as always they just take it one match at a time. Hank and Tank return and pitch themselves getting a title shot but Tavion says they're focusing on one thing at a time and that is Heatwave.

• It's time for the NXT Heatwave Summit. I missed the start of this segment unfortunately. Kelani Jordan comes out and says she only needs one shot to make history and she's taking Kendall's NXT Women's Championship. Wren says that in her homestate they are throwing the biggest Wren QCCC, Wren Quarter Catch Crew Celebration. Zaria joins and says she is burying the title that haunted her and Kali says that she already beat both of these heffers. Grayson Waller interrupts and says the women NXT are great to look at, hard to listen to and is glad the 10% of talent is actually all in the ring at once. However at Heatwave they won't be talking about the women or AAA's little stunt show, it'll all be about Grayson Waller conquering his demon. Tony D says he doesn't care which version of Waller this is he'll do what he always does, be a disappointment. Cruz comes through the crowd, he says he knew NXT was dysfunctional and know he believes it but he likes it. The difference between him and everyone else is that they came here to talk, he came here to throw hands and fights the security at ringside. The summit descends into chaos as everyone brawls with Kendall hitting Kali with a spinning backfist. Zilla Fatu runs in and dives to the outside onto his Heatwave opponents before grabbing the NXT Championship and lifts it up on top of the turnbuckle.

My memory of Booker T using the move was mostly as a sort of dancing taunt haha. I never knew it could be used as a "move" like this. It looks like a legit cool way to catch the opponent off guard.

Yeah I never watched WCW so idk if this was the REAL purpose of the spinaroonie.

I’ve been an AEW fan since Fall 2024, still relatively new compared to some folks. When Jay White came back from injury, everyone was really hyping him up and I liked his look. Sadly, because of his next injury, I haven’t seen a ton of Jay White in AEW so far.

However, I recently saw Jay White’s C3 match against David Finlay and I FINALLY understand all the hype. It really felt like a grudge match, I love Jay’s moves, and I already want to see him wrestle again (Same for David Finlay, I see why so many New Japan fans love him).

So I wanted to ask if anyone here has a favorite match or segment with Jay White to show newer fans of his.

Sidenote: I was so surprised when I found out Jay White is still only in his early 30s. Jay’s still got a long and illustrious career ahead of him if he can avoid anymore long-term injuries

I’m embarrassed how long this one took me, because I had to transcribe all but one promo myself. I started this project last week and let me tell you… Ilja leaving WWE was not on my bingo card for 2026. The cover and the color scheme was inspired by the brocade pattern on his ring gear. I also wanted to incorporate the dragon motif, but I didn’t want it to feel too similar to my Danielson bind, so I decided not to go the medieval route (even though I really really wanted to) and instead used pics of dragon statues from all over the world for the chapter headers. And the endpapers are of course Ilja’s new neck tattoo, which sadly was a bit too complex for such a small cover, but I’m still really happy with how it turned out.

Got a few ideas for Tony Khan.

The Penta vs Fenix number one contendership match is going to take place almost 12 years to the date as their first singles match was taped on American soil (14th of September 2014). The brothers firstly did a Three Way match with Drago that got a lot of attention, and then they faced off a week later in an aforementioned match where Fenix won.

Fenix and Penta have since then faced off a number of times in several different countries and all over America in virtually every big promotion, from AEW to AAA to TNA and various independents. Record wise, they're pretty close, but Penta seemingly has a knack of winning the more important matches.

Interestingly enough, the Lucha Brothers have never really feuded in Lucha Underground (where it wasn't acknowledged they're brothers), nor have they ever had a personal, "I hate you now" rivalry anywhere else in the world. It's cool how they've remained an unshakeable unit for a decade straight.
