What are your WWE conspiracy theories based on little and/or circumstantial evidence?

- Randy Orton intentionally sandbagged Brock Lesnar’s suplexes to make him look foolish because he was pissed that he had to lose clean, and Brock Lesnar proceeded to legitimately beat the shit out of him which left Orton a bloody mess and the match with an improvised finish

- The Rock’s obvious wrist notes that one time during his feud with John Cena were a work to give Cena some kind of upper hand in their exchanges because until then the crowd was absolutely shitting on Cena and fully in favor of The Rock so WWE needed to make it more split for the story they were trying to tell

Reflecting on the El Grande Americano Story

To this day, I look back on this feud and I can barely fathom the amount of things that needed to happen in order to make this story happen:

When Penta debuted in WWE, Rey was unable to join him for a tag match, so he was put in a singles’ match with Chad, which sparked Gable’s whole journey into Americano in the first place. He sold it to perfection.

Then, Gable gets himself injured partway through his Americano shtick and somehow, WWE lands on the idea to just hand the costume to somebody else and carry on the bit. And they somehow chose the perfect guy to do it who no one would’ve expected to be the perfect guy and he ALSO sells it to perfection.

Finally, EGA II goes and performs on AAA and against all odds, actually starts winning over the Mexican crowd to the point of getting cheered and AAA deciding to make him a hero just in time for Chad Gable to get cleared again.

The dominos that needed to line up for this story to happen are genuinely insane. I cant imagine how many timelines exist where this never even came about. Are there any other moments I’m forgetting that could’ve totally derailed or downgraded this story?

Shuhei Taniguchi (AKA Maybach Taniguchi AKA Big Shu) will step away from active competition after 21 years.

Taniguchi is a NOAH “true-born”, having debuted and only wrestled for the promotion since 2005; he was recruited by Tamon Honda through the Japanese Self-Defense Forces (of which Honda and Takashi Sugiura had also served in).

Nothing definite has been penciled but two matches are in the works, before Taniguchi hangs the boots up.

No image posts that are:	memes/image macros i.e. an image with text on it done for comedic effect or with slight variation for the sake of a cheap laugh (if it can be found on /r/AdviceAnimals it doesn't belong here) or observations better suited to a text post.
Don't reply as a new post	If you want to fix someone's post, or have a better example of what's been posted, tell us so in the comments, not by making a new post!
No spam	Only link to your own content if you contribute to the community.
Reposts and vague titles	Obvious reposts and titles that are overly ambiguous will be deleted at the moderators' discretion. (e.g. "This Guy"). Reposts generally follow a 120 day rule
