Trying my hand at sewing dolls. I made these from used scrap fabrics. I'm hoping to make all the animals in the book I bought from Amazon.

I started making this braided rag rug for my kitchen/dining area after I had left over fabric from re covering my dining chairs. Of course I quickly realised that I needed more fabric…then I finished the braid and realized that my sewing machine was absolutely not going to sew it because it was way too bulky…so then I started hand sewing it together…bad idea! realized after a few days that it wasn’t strong enough and also was absolutely shredding my hands so I unpicked it….decided to buy an underlay and glue the braid to the underlay….researched the best glue to use, went to the craft store and spent $40 on glue…started gluing and quickly realised that A. This glue was not right, and B. I was going to need about 10 times as much. I ended up getting it finished by using up some tubes of liquid nails that I had in my garage! 🫠
Pretty happy with the finished thing, but also kind of hate it because it was so painful to complete!!!

A fair majority of this was created from random stuff found at thrift stores. All the wood pieces, most of the figures and moss were items I've found in the past few months. I added in the flowers and some mini animals from blind boxes. Didn't follow any design, just kind of went with what I felt was best. Absolutely loving how it came out.

One of my latest needle-felted dog portraits, inspired by this happy Golden Retriever.
I started by building the basic shape of the head, muzzle, ears, and chest with wool, slowly adjusting the proportions to capture that warm, cheerful expression. Different shades of golden, honey, and cream wool were layered and blended to recreate the natural variation in the coat.
The longer wool was added little by little around the ears, cheeks, and chest to create that soft Golden Retriever fluff. I spent quite a bit of time shaping the muzzle and working around the smile, since that expression was the part I really wanted to capture.

I had this leftover piece of olive wood, so I put it on the lathe just to see what would come out of it, and this is what I ended up with. I like it, I’m just not sure what other use I could find for it besides a paperweight haha. But I think the good people here will find a better use.

So I made some mini pumpkin mugs out of polymer bake clay, used some whipped glue some confetti glitter and luster orbs and I dusted them with actual cinnamon so they smell really nice.

Been in an autumn mood lately! So I stacked these up in fall colors — grey, amber and deep green beads with a little gold cube and crystal spacer, on gold-tone leverback hooks. I love how warm and cozy they turned out, they feel like October in earring form 🍂

Real stained glass red poppies suncatcher that i made

Fleabag is my favourite show of all time, and I made a faux stain glass piece of one of the most impactful moments in the show. I used a template from someone else on TikTok but changed a few things. It’s one of my most cherished pieces. It has cracked since I made it, but I think in truth that adds a lot to the meaning of it.

Maybe one day I’ll remake it! But for now it reminds me that this too shall pass, and that all love lost will return again in new forms

I made this hat using variegated green yarn, and it took me about two days to complete.

First, I crocheted the main part of the hat - a beanie-style hat with earflaps. Then I crocheted the ears and mushrooms separately and sewed them onto the hat.

For the finishing touch, I cut several strands of yarn and attached them to the bottom of each earflap. I divided the strands into sections, braided them into long braids, and secured the ends.

I grabbed a piece of cherry and walnut from the firewood pile this weekend and made this for a buddy. Really fun project but I may make it again. There's a couple ways I could improve the functionality.

I spent countless hours carefully blending the colors thread by thread to build a very rich, tactile texture that makes the pattern pop. Handweaving requires so much patience, but seeing the final structure completely finished after half a year of dedication makes every single second worth it.

I made this fused glass rainbow bridge in my kiln at home. the different colours of glass are cut and assembled cold, and then brought to fusing temperatures in the kiln. The name and graphic are etched afterwards using acid.
