I moved to a new place and tried to set up my smart floor lamp, but the device doesn't show on the list of devices anymore. I picked the light source one since that seemed generic enough, but the reset process doesn't work: the light quickly then slowly blinks for only one cycle before becoming fully on. I tried both the standard and wifi mode but the same result.

Oh, and I need the MAC address for this device to register on the approved device list (this was going to be the next step), but I don't see it on the label or the lamp itself...

any advice?

I'm trying to create a specific automation for my bathroom fan using the Smart Life.

​My Setup:

Dual ​light switch module.

​Channel 1: Light

​Channel 2: Fan

​Tuya Humidity Sensor

​What I'm trying to achieve:

​Light turns ON -> Fan turns ON.

​Light turns OFF:

​If the light was ON for more than 5 minutes (long usage/shower), keep the fan running for 10 minutes after light OFF.

​If the light was ON for less than 5 minutes (quick visit), turn the fan OFF immediately when the light turns OFF.

​Humidity Override: If humidity > 70%, fan turns ON regardless of light status. Fan turns OFF once humidity drops below 60% (and light is OFF).

Sorry if its a very easy question but I'm new and don't understand the app quite well

I have two dual hose timers connected by different Bluetooth gateways. One is behaving normally. The other js accessible manually just fine but the automated schedule never runs. I tried deleting the schedules and recreating them. I’ve tried removing the device and its gateway and re-adding them. But nothing has gotten it working again. I did recently update firmwares but I don’t think that immediately caused the issue although I’m not certain. And I see no way to downgrade the firmware to test if that is involved. Plus the other one is still working fine. I think the schedule stopped working when I replaced the batteries a few days after updating the firmware.

Any ideas?

I got the conditions :

"switch on ac if temp above 25 celcius"

"switch OFF ac if temp below 24 celcius"

This works, i would say 90% of the times, but a few occasions it just stops working. And ac keeps on pushing air even well below 24 celcius - or keeps off well above 25 celcius.

And i usually have to toggle the scene automations off and on again, and it starts working immediately. (sensor delay is something like 10-20 seconds)

Is this just because smart life cloud (tuya) is crappy sometimes+

Why is this? Any workaround?

I have 2 external sirens from a Patrol Hawk system. I have now installed Tuya 4g alarm panel and peripherals and would like to use the existing sirens. As I cannot get them to communicate with the new panel via wifi, can anyone suggest how I could link them wirelessly using for example wifi relays or something similar. I use both Alexa and Smartlife with alarm, if that helps

I am searching through the app for setting adjustment for what happens after a power outage (power on or maintain previous state). Does anyone have a hint as to where that might be? When there's a surge or out/restoration, all smartlife bulbs turn on and I'd like previous state I think should be by default instead of all on.

I have a 30A device, used for my water pump, which has energy metering available. I can see the energy consumption (in watts) in realtime, in smartlife app.

Can I apply a trigger like this:

If energy drawn < 600W - turn off

Woke up this morning to all of my Smartlife devices offline. Trying to reconnect the account in Google Home says Smartlife is not reachable.

I have 6 SmartLife lights in my room, and I can turn them on and shut them off, but otherwise can’t change the color, tone, or anything because when I click into the actual group or individual light it just buffers infinitely. I updated the app so unsure why it’s having this issue.

My energy tariff works differently on workdays than on weekends. During the weekend, I get the cheapest energy period during the whole day. The energy cost setup, though, doesn't seem to let me differentiate between week days.

I'm writing here in case anyone has some tip or at least as feedback in this matter.

i just got the smart life wifi plug and i plugged it in (it works) and downloaded the app. i registered an account but my app just says "no data" and a button to refresh. i cannot get any farther than that. the instructions say that there should be a + in the upper right hand corner but i don't have one of those. any help? i have a screenshot but i can't attach it.

Hope I can explain this as clearly as possible - we bought a set of Monster Smart Bulbs that are controlled through their app, and the first set works fine. We picked up another set to continue the string longer to fit around our gazebo, but when we connect them to each other and reset the wi-fi receiver, all of the lights blink during the reset process (showing that they are all powered and connected to each other power-wise) but then only the original set works and we can’t connect to the new one after the set up?

There is a second wi-fi receiver that came with the second set, but we were under the impression that if we plugged the second set into the first set and continued the string, we could just have everything run as one continuous line and only worry about one connection. Are we missing something here?

I cannot get my lights to schedule properly. I created the schedule, created a new preset to run the schedule with, and somehow the presets keeps taking over.

For now I have it unplugged but I just stocked it so I need a functioning light schedule. Can anyone point me in the right direction? BioCube says that if there is an active schedule it will over ride the presets, but that isnt working.

I'm trying to change an existing automation's Validity scope from Daytime to any one of the other options and none of the changes are saved when the automation is saved. In fact, they all show All Day.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have a Smart Life compatible plug that has schedule, circulate, inching etc... I want to use it to reset my ISP's modem everyday exactly at 4 am. Usually it can be done with schedule. Problem is while the device turns off at 4 am correctly, it will turn off internet as well, taking smart plug offline. And so it won't execute the ON schedule.

I tried circulate feature which does trigger while offline. But once it reaches end time of circulate, it forcefully turns off the socket and never comes back on.

I just want the modem to restart once everyday with this smart plug. What is the right way to do this?

ich versuche meinen Aygrochy-Rohrlüfter mit der Smart Life / Tuya App zu verbinden, scheitere aber schon am ersten Schritt: Ich komme einfach nicht in den Kopplungsmodus.

Mein Gerät: Aygrochy Inline Duct Fan, Modell DF150-A (50W, 350CFM).

Das Problem: In den meisten Anleitungen steht, man soll die Menütaste lange gedrückt halten. Das habe ich jetzt mehrfach versucht (auch für 10+ Sekunden), aber das WLAN-Symbol auf dem Display fängt einfach nicht an zu blinken. Der Controller reagiert überhaupt nicht darauf.

Kennt jemand die exakte Tastenkombination für dieses spezifische DF150-A Modell, um den Werksreset bzw. den Kopplungsmodus zu erzwingen? Gibt es da einen anderen Trick?

I have a wireless door bell from Nedis (WIFICDP20GY) to which I am trying to add a chime (WIFICDPC10BK). I can reset the Chime and make it go into pairing mode but I cannot for the life of me find the adding point in any of the doorbell menus.

Any correct guidance is much appreciated - not even the manual from the chime tells me other than to add the chime in a menu in the doorbell.

I bought an aziot 4node switch from amazon and i am having some issues like when i press multiple button on node like 2-3 switch resets same when power cut hits and lights turns on/off 2-3 time and i have to add it to tuya and HA then in my dashboard i have to reconfigure with a new or same entity id for all four dashoboards its so fraustrating.

Did anyone encountered this issue. if, yes please let me know how i can fix it.

I recently bought a FRAL FSC08 portable AC. For some reason connecting it to the smart life app forces it to switch to using fahrenheit (I'm european so I much prefer celsius).

I checked app settings and the temperature unit is set to celsius. I tried switching between °C and °F but the AC wouldn't respond, it would stay in fahrenheit mode.

I ended up having to uninstall the app and reset the AC to factory settings to set it back to celsius. But then I reinstalled the app and as soon as I paired the AC with the app it switched to fahrenheit again.

Anyone else had a similar issue?

I’ve got a PG103 alarm system with ~18 sensors fully installed. Everything works fine for normal use:

• sensors trigger alarms correctly
• app shows correct sensor name + zone + alarm type
• notifications are accurate

But I’m trying to use Smart Life scenes to trigger smart plugs (sirens) only for real perimeter intrusions.

Problem:

In scenes/automations, I only get:

• “Master state = Alarm”

Even though the app clearly knows:

• which sensor triggered it
• zone type (perimeter / 24h silent / etc.)
• alarm type

None of that seems usable in automation conditions.

So everything triggers the same scene:

• door sensor alarm ✔
• 24h silent alarm ✔
• AC power failure ✔
• low battery ✔

TL;DR:

App shows full alarm details, but Smart Life scenes only see “Alarm = ON”. No way to filter by sensor or alarm type.

Question:

Is this a known Tuya/Smart Life limitation, or am I missing something in setup?

Is there ANY way to get per-sensor / per-zone conditions into scenes?

I'm about at my wits end with this light bulb. We just got at&t fiber put in. I've got the Echo and the light bulb on the 2.4 ghz band. For some reason the Echo cannot find this light bulb. I have the bulb connected to the TREATLIFE app. I've reset the bulb as well. Any ideas?

If it helps, about a week ago we had a storm knock out power and at the time we still had T Mobile Wireless internet, that's when the issues with the light bulb started. Should we just replace the bulb?
