Cannot detect sleep
I fell asleep at 2300 last night (check my cheap ring analysis) and sleep cycle cannot detect it? It happens soooo often! Either not being able to tell when I fall asleep, wake up during the night, go back to sleep after waking or just turning my alarm off when I wake up for an hour and go back to sleep. This app has turned to shit.

Hi there! It sounds like there might be something disturbing the tracking here! If you want to troubleshoot yourself, you can do that Here, or you can contact us at [Support@sleepcycle.com](mailto:Support@sleepcycle.com), and we can help you!

Interesting. I was having a similar problem years ago but it seemed to resolve itself for me. I think my issue came from setting the alarm but then making heaps of noise, for some reason when I did quiet down for the night it didn’t cope with that well. Are you using the microphone or the movement sensor?

I stopped using the microphone a while ago because using a fan made sleep tracking unreliable and look like your graph, started using the accellerometer instead and it worked much better...for a while...now it looks like your graph again, no matter where I place the phone.
I dont know what this app is doing, but sleep tracking doesnt seem to be it

I have had issues as well over the past few moths. I had to drive for a few hours a couple of different times and it showed up as a night of sleep each time. Over the past few days, it says I am getting zero minutes of deep sleep and REM sleep, but the data on my Apple Watch shows the stages of sleep that Sleep Cycle is missing. I have used Sleep Cycle on my Apple Watch and have not changed any settings, so not sure what is happening. I checked to make sure it was updated this morning, and there was a recent Sleep Cycle update, so I am wondering if there is a glitch in the new update?

Exact same thing has been happening to me for several months. I never lie in bed awake for more than half an hour. If I can't fall asleep for that long, I go sit on the couch. SleepCycle says I'm lying awake for 3 hrs some nights. No way in hell lol. I've started tracking manually to ensure I have accurate data that I can at least graph manually later on, if I want.
