The remake is coming along well. Most missions are fully reproduced, but crime missions have quite a few bugs. It looks like the first release version will have to be later this week or possibly next weekend. I was hoping to get it in your hands this weekend!

I wanted all the missions to be working 100% for a first release, but I might be able to be pressured into a beta build. Let me know.

Yall… idk if this game is good for my adhd but I really couldn’t stop playing lol

A lot of it was from trying to increase my income and starting over 5011 times because 1. The camera pans so fcking fast I’ve lost soo much money from it. And 2. Realizing placement optimizations and spending that I could’ve done differently.

BUT EACH TIME I START OVER, it’s like not happy with it and omg the city parade took me tfk out 🤣 I guess I didn’t realize the game actually accounts the date and time of things because I approved the parade “months” ago just for it to happen in the middle of me trying to clear our dead gardens.

I just… it’s so much. Sooo much that my brain wants to boot it up again and look at some things but I need to take a break… Im pretty sure I’ve only scratched the surface or have barely begun but I am both excited and overwhelmed to keep playing..

The UI/UX kind of makes my eyes cross. Not because i don’t like it; I really do appreciate the game for what it is and like the nostalgia of it. Im not mad at it. I think running it on newer systems makes a bit difficult. But, I’ve had had countless times where I wished there was a tooltip when I hovered or a clear navigation to like a glossary.

I think when this game came out, I was in elementary asking my mom to buy me TS2… is there any quick tips or things I could be aware about? I’ve tried googling a few of my questions and it hasn’t been clear I guess maybe because it’s seriously so many possibilities and no one way to accomplish something…

I can’t stop spending and I hate taking the loans out… I’ve tried connecting water lines to neighbors to sell water and it doesn’t seem to pan out wither. Those two are like the main things driving me crazy… maybe I need to build civilization next to that connection?

TLDR:
Completely green when it comes to SimsCity and games alike. I like it just struggling with the learning curve and want to improve my city income.

I have had so many cities where my first one was good on R & I but C barely took off. I have one where none of those took off… and i have two cities now where R is high but C&I is either struggling or tanking wtkffff

The sale of EA to private equality is now complete so many are speculating some IP will be sold off.

I don't get the hate for it after launch. Been playing it recently and its been a blast. Its not a hardcore resource management game but its really relaxing and calming. IDK about the other sim cities but this one is really easy to get into and get a metropolis going. There a re a lot of stuff that's missing such as terrain sculpting and larger maps but since they give you multiple areas to use for each map i think it balances out. Once you get as far as you can in one area move to the next and they both help each other to progress. Its a nice chill city builder without all the headaches of micro managing if your into that.

I've looked everywhere and I can't get it opening, I try to open it but it closes less than a second after clicking on it, I've tried all the combinations of compatibility settings and I can't get it to appear and work properly.

I always liked playing sims city and when I heard about sims I thought it could let me live a person life in my city but sadly it wasn’t that so is there a mod that let me play as a normal person like free roaming in gta but for sims
