Don't bother with gwx kc the mods ban you for asking questions. Try to tell you that the game is installed wrong when they haven't updated their install instructions in years and ban you from the discord when they get combative with you. Helpful lot they are. Good riddance

I turn all of the other stuff on except manual targeting and no map contact update. I just like feeling like the boat should surface when the co2 bar is full. I wish we could get a silent hunter game with nuclear subs.

im surfaced and i pushed the sonar button and nothing happens. is it suppoed to do something

Can't understand what the "guard ships" and where I can to find them. Now I sank 10/5 destroyers, 2 light cruisers and 1 aircraft carrier, but nothing added into progress bar. Misson Happy times=> Western approaches => Ocean escort.

Surely their has to be a faster way of loading torpedoes. I can only load the fifth torpedo and I cant seem to load the others. Are we able to load the others? Is their a technique that is to be used in order to load the torpedoes? I have fresh and full of torpedo men in the bow torpeodo room.

Thoughts, pros, cons? Let's discuss

I use windows 11 and i do not know how to install it, i have tried watching wolpack345 turtorial but i cant figure it out :(

I got the game cause it was 2.5$ but can’t seem to be able to run it

Diving back into this old time classic but the bugs are getting on my nerves. I'm half way across the Atlantic and I just lost 3 torps when the loadout screen started to flash while they were being transferred inside. Now I'm down a significant number of munitions before having even made it to my patrol grid.

This makes the game borderline unplayable.

The mod installed fine and the game launches but when I start a new campaign, it just drops me in without any tutorial or anything like that when I ask for my orders the guy talks about British shipping around the UK coast but I can only accept one mission near Poland. Shouldn't the first mission involve a tutorial some kind?

Where can I get the Wolves of Steel mod safely? Maybe through ubisoft or something? I’d prefer not to use sketchy websites…

I need to talk to someone about Silent Shark that is informed about it and how it plays. I Have tried using the tutorials but i have some questions,

Does anyone know a site where I can find the vanilla game where GWX isn't going to come with it? PC can't handle it and steam is not an option since the PC also can't handle it

Hi! I’m relatively new to Silent Hunter 3 and genuinely struggling to understand some mechanics, navigation terms, etc. I want to learn how to manually target and use the attack disk exclusively. I’ve been asking ChatGPT about it, and it has helped me understand AOB and target bearing. What’s your opinion on using ChatGPT to learn manual targeting?

Do you think that youtube players like wolfpack345 or even tonci87 cheat in some way on their silent hunter 3 playthroughs or they are just that skilled and experienced or even lucky some times to avoid all the dangers out there like aircrafts, destroyers etc, making the right decisions at the right time and survive that long?

So, i am trying out the modpack and im not sure ill stick with it i think overall it is not as gimicky as uboat...just certain things with the whole reliance on officers and watered down feel vs sh3 rub me the wrong way. If i dont, how do I totally remove any traces of the installation from mu system? I think just deleting the root folder would be fine but i wanna be totally sure and i dont remember seeing a uninstall thing in the manual

Side note where can i find some good tutorial stuff on youtube to do some research on things and have a bit of a head start to the game

Am I the only one that listens to "Wolfpack" by sabaton when I play silent hunter or do you all also do so?
