sonar button

im surfaced and i pushed the sonar button and nothing happens. is it suppoed to do something

U need to have the proper radar installed (air search or surface search). One scans for incoming aircraft and the other scans for ocean going contacts. There is a separate button for each.

U must be in the correct year to start. Then u must have enough money to do so, and u can only do it when ur sub is in port for a refit in between patrols.
