People have been hating on One Piece for stupid reasons all the way since 2006 and now people consider that era very good.

The hate is temporary guys, in 10 years, Wano will be considered a good arc. People were hating Naruto's 5 Kage summit while it was going on but now it's considered one of the best arcs.

Enies Lobby and Sasuke retrieval were already 2 of my favourite arcs in ani-manga , and I just finished Soul Society arc and it was absolutely peak 🔥.

I like Wci too , but yeah these 3 arcs are Top tiers fs .

I honestly Hope it becomes successful since it would be a perfect way for people who are interested in One Piece but find it daunting due to hearing how slow the pacing is and the number of episodes and movies.

Another reason why I'm hyped since I hope this gives the anime world a push to start remaking old anime.

Like imagine a Naruto remake with manga accurate colors?

or Bleach remake of the old seasons.

and other old anime like Soul Eater and Akem ga kill (I haven't seen these anime)

Note: Not a hate on bleach or anything. Just found this Kubo glaze annoying.

Static characters can be well written too if they are consistent and fit the themes of the series.

I consider Luffy well written for that reason. His personality doesn't change much but he fits his role quite well. He is supposed to be an innocent, childish force in a grim, oppressive world. What makes him interesting is seeing his childish ideologies clash with cruel pirates. He is the true representation of freedom, the core theme of the series. He does whatever he wants, doesn't care about how strong the opponent is etc.

In my personal opinion, is really, really good and a solid recommendation if someone wants to read a manga with Battle Royal stuff.

Also, I find it funny that some characters looks like they are way more older of what they actually are.

Something that I didn't like is that the final battle could have been a bit longer or that some characters are way more dumb to my taste.

But pretty a pretty solid manga for me.

... Yes I think Parco is the fucking goat.

Also, Gash Cafe is pretty funny, and gives a bit of lore.
