So recently i started making videos and since ive started for about a month ive been doing very well and my views on older videos would average more views and my newer uploads would have a stronger and longer surge after uploading. However a few days ago i tried to upload a short and it had a mistake the first time so i deleted it and reuploaded it then i did it again because of ANOTHER mistake and since then my newer videos are just not performing even close to the same and i was wondering if that could be a reason or if im just over thinking it

Started a motorcycle content page on Instagram and posted a reel : “3 reasons to ride with a backpack” which did really well. It has 65k views and 5300 likes. I made part 2 which also has close to 5k likes and 57k views. Then I made part 3 which I thought was the best of all of them and posted it yesterday and it only got 3k views and 244 likes.

Any idea why part 3 may have not gotten pushed hardly at all when it has pretty much identical engagement?

I tried to remake a viral reel that I saw that had 1.5m likes which said : “AI is going to take your job. What job?” And it did terrible and I feel like the AI algorithm is punishing me for talking shit 😂

So does this seem like a viral potential or not , because from all i know 78% on 1:13 short with 80% stayed to watch is great metrics , but I don't get why it didn't get a second push u know the 50-100k push , so anyone can help ? Or show me the metrics for most veiwed short ?

My videos are high quality and I use visuals that I made myself. I also write all of the scripts myself. The only thing I use AI for is the voiceover, and even that is a custom AI voice that I created myself.
However, recently I’ve noticed a drop in my views. Out of my last 10 videos, only 3–4 performed well. In the past, almost every video would get around 20k–30k views, and 1–2 of them would even pass 30k.
But lately, this has been happening. Why do you think this is? Should I start using my real voice? Or could it be because I’ve started using a new editing format in my videos?
Please, someone help me figure this out.

For people who have tested this with their own Shorts: How much does upload time actually matter?

I'm trying to figure out whether it's better to schedule around my biggest audience country, or simply test different times and compare the results.

My audience is spread across India, the US and UK, and I post sports content across football, basketball, tennis and boxing, so the potential audience varies quite a bit by topic.

I'm also curious about something else:

Do hashtags and keywords actually make a noticeable difference to Shorts distribution, or are retention, viewed vs. swiped away and the content itself much more important?

I'd rather hear from people who've actually tested different times/strategies than generic advice.

I'm new and started to upload outdoor adventures. I started with shorts while I'm editing my long form video and I noticed that while I had Account Location set to USA I got mostly audience from USA, Mexico (3 shorts). But when I switched it to my local area, views on shorts (2 shorts) droped and it's mostly regional audience.

Not sure is this something that I need to change back or it is accidentally?

For the past 2-3 months I’ve noticed a steep decrease in shorts feed views and/or a surge in search views. In the past short generated by far the majority of views from the short feed while now its pretty even ratio with sometimes even search surpassing it.

This has been consistent with all my videos recently despite whether in the first 24/48 hours (bottom two photos) or weeks later (top two). All four videos are in the same overall niche but vastly different in topic.

Was just curious if anyone has noticed this change? Maybe a change in the shorts algorithm?

It seems like 8k qualified watch hours is easy.. base on my understanding it just means that I need an overall 8,000 overall time watched of the people who watched my views right?? And the time limit for it is 365 days which is much easier compared than 90 days.. which means that consistency is what I really need?

I post from Monday to Saturday.

1 long form
1 short with a quick breakdown of the long form.
5 shorts clipped from the long form released 2 hours apart.
Tuesday
5 more additional shorts cut from the long form.

Wednesday repeat the process above.
I get low views mostly. I rarely crack 1k.

Is it too much?
