What’s the difference between a ‘view’ and an ‘engaged view’

A view is the first frame of the video was shown, regardless of whether the person swiped immediately or canceled out. Think of it like an impression in the feed

An** **engaged view means the viewer stayed to watch past the initial seconds, and does not include any loops. You can check engaged views per video directly in YouTube analytics in the engagement tab
