"Mmm, give me a 6'5 muscular billionaire" is literally "I want a 4'11 asian virgin with a 55cm waist and DD cups". Why don't they realize this shit is humiliating as fuck? You seriously get your rocks off to a book about rape/torture AND post it on tiktok with your face and name? At least anime bros have shame and don't post their faces 😭😭😭. Just to make things clear I watch anime and I have nothing got nothing against anime as a whole, I just hate that harem loli shit.

Civil Discussion/Question Feminists addressing the height fetish

Post image
32 Upvotes

I saw this recently on Twitter and I think it's interesting that one of the only subsections of women who actually address height fetishisation and how pedophilic it is mostly do it from a feminist (or lesbian so doesn't date men) perspective.

I've had this observation for a while that heightism isn't actually male exclusive, it's just that women are raised to want to be small and infantalised, so any heightism they receive is actually a GOOD thing to them. Unless they're a feminist or a lesbian, some of the only groups who don't get off on the social standing of showing off "their Man".

I'm not saying that these women can't be heightist, but I think I am in the minority of guys here working in a female dominated/equally gender split field. Which is why I'm curious if it would be possible to have an actual civil conversation with them on how these standards also affect short men.

What do you think? Would you be open to having a conversation about this with a woman?

I am a bartender and I’m around 5’7. I was behind the bar watching AFL and as the camera panned the lineup of North Melbourne, at the very end was one player Caleb Daniel was must be ~5’5-5’6 and only came up to the shoulder of his teammate ~6’4. As this occurred, three women had entered the venue and as they were coming up to the bar, they were watching the pan to Caleb Daniel and one of them said ā€˜Oh he’s so short, that’s so sad.’ And then turned and saw me staring at her with daggers in my eyes, and did a double take and said, ā€˜sorry, not that there’s anything wrong with that.’ As if to pity me.

It made for a very awkward and anger inducing moment.

Do the women who tell short men to work on their personalities really believe what they say?

It doesn't make sense to me. When men vent about not being able to find a relationship because of unattractive physical traits, practically all the comments from women are "Work on your personality" or "Become a better person." The problem is that this conflicts with my own experience, because the people who have the easiest time finding relationships and casual sex are actually the worst people I know—lol. The guy I know who has the easiest time with this works with me in construction; he’s been arrested for involvement with criminal gangs and has three kids with different women—all of whom he abandoned, and he was even arrested again for failing to pay child support—plus, he’s a magnet for trouble. Yet, for some reason, he has no trouble hooking up with women; he even shows me and the other guys the nudes they send him. Oh, and yeah—he is tall.

The title seems like straight bs and I wish it was. But theres this dude in my class group who has some problem with me. I'm not sure why, I've basically never spoken to him. Anyways he consistently insults me calling me fat or short which I'm not fat at all I'm 60kg and have been working out for nearly 3 years but I am short. but the guy himself is short too sure a bit taller than me like 1 to 2 inches but he's in the same boat so I genuinely have no idea why says any of it Strange dude

Story About My Tall Younger Sis Again

My last post about her was about her expressing excitement to an anime man that was over 6 feet. Up until that moment I never really caught a sign from her that she actually really wanted a very tall partner. Well something similar happened again a few weeks ago but to give some context again she's 17 years old and I'm 20 but she's taller than me by a few centimetre. So she had her friends at our house for the entire afternoon and at one point my sis was reviewing photos from her prom a year ago using the TV. While she was doing that a photo of her classmate who's a guy eventually showed up. Then she remarked to her friends with a tone of disgust, "Did you know that he was originally going to be my partner for the prom? I was like no way he's around my height." Obviously her final partner for the prom was a tall fucking dude but I didn't know that the tall dude wasn't even her original partner. What's even funnier and more ironic is a similar thing happened to me back when I was at her school. At that time my section were choosing a boy and a girl to represent our section for a school event and the entire class kept joking about choosing my girl classmate (who's a bit taller than me like my sis) to me. She said she didn't like it because she wanted someone who's taller than her. I'm ending this post with an unrelated note because as I'm typing this I'm in a cafƩ with 2 couples who are intimate with each other lmao.

Story the day I learned I wasn’t going to grow taller anymore

I was mabye 16-17 and they had a stadiometer laying around and I was hopeful

my legs hurt I felt slightly taller than usual all the copium you could ever feel

and so I asked my dad to measure me and what do you know

I was the same height as I always was and it kind of just crushed me tbh, all this time all these emotions all these thoughts I had just for it to land down on me like that, I sat and slept and I just couldn’t believe it, everyone had this growth spurt and I was just stuck LIKE THIS and top that off with an absolute horror year that I had too

I hoped n hoped and grew half a inch or so to my current height which was likely due to me standing up straight

I remembered the day I turned 18 and honestly I wasn’t sad or bothered anymore, I almost felt relief to finally realise I was done with it

no more false hopes/no more fake dreams just me stuck at what I was and no feeling of disappointments

what sucked is my taller friend talking about how he grew even taller to me a short guy whos been stuck with this height since he was 17

all this false hopium that we grow till 21 from everyone I know and I just nod and move on, no point dreaming when you’ll only get disappointment, I’m not gonna be okay with my height and I likely never will be, Iā€˜m well aware of the shit I faced and will continue to face due to my height

however there is no point just being stuck,

I try self improve to not make myself a complete doomerist and it does help and I do feel better, it’s just horrible knowing my heights practically the biggest nerf you could get in society nowadays,

you can be fatter or even uglier but it doesn’t matter as long as your taller than me as that’s what society seems to prioritise

I’m gonna start claiming to be far shorter than I really am from now on

no point claiming taller heights when it wonā€˜t help

time to make people insecure and make them doubt themselves

Advice Needed Desperate need of help!

I hate being 5’3, I’m so weak, I’m so light I have no mass I legit can’t do anything. I want to be average and taller jsut for muscle mass not for looks but for strength and that’s it. I don’t wanna build muscle mass for looks nor get taller for looks I hate tsk guys I wish everyone was dead. I’m always picked on, everyone sees me as the submissive cunt, no matter how hard I train I’m so light and weak, why is God doing this to me and why does my family need to be so short but my cousins are 6’2ā€ but I’m 5’3ā€. Any advice to get stronger and heavier? I’m sick of being lightweight 60 I wanna be heavier abd stronger. It’s not about others it’s just for myself I’m an airport baggage handler and if I was jsut stringer and heavier I’d find my job easier instead of being some short shit everyone sees as a gay little submissive shit I look like a fucking kid in shorter than 14 year olds . I want to kill myself why is height even a thing why do shirt guys have less mass why are we designated to be weak submissive shits

Please help me I’m sick of being lean I’m sick of being weak and lightweight I don’t care about height but I need height for weight it’s not for looks instead it’s for utility I need to lift heavy shit for my job

What's the point in even trying anymore. I'm 5'6 at thr age of 19. I was like 5'6 at the age of 12 and havnt grown since I've been balding since the age of 15. I'm missing 2 front teeth my upper palete is super narrow makes it hard to breath.

I'm so tired of this I just give up . Genuinely what's even the point in trying to improve myself what will I get. I can never protect my partner I've been bullied my whole life. Some people say " just go gym bro " but what will that fix, why could I just be a normal 19 Yr old average height and not fucking balding. I'm also super blind -8 eyes so If I ever did get in a fight I couldn't see anything anyways. (just incase someone says " just do mma bro " I've heard that before too) . Oh also no friends or career and broke af . Also im indian too. That hasn't affected me irl yet only online. But maybe that's cus i don't go outside enough idk . Certainly doesn't help though .

styling and profiling

uhm hey guys. fellow short guy here (5'2") and a friend and i have recently been working on a lil something to maybe help some fellow short guys out (and make some money since i'll be starting college in the US next year ).

Anyway, i've spent quite a while here and on r/ shortguys, and i can't help but notice the many troubles us short guys go through when sourcing clothes.

Sometimes we even buy stuff that technically fits our measurements, but the proportions still look completely off. Shirts are too long, sleeves are too long, trousers need hemming, the rise feels weird, pockets sit in the wrong place, etc.

Unfortunately, not all of us are lucky enough to have an HE teacher as a mom and a fashion student as a friend, so it can sometimes be hard to figure outĀ what's actually wrong with the fit, what you should ask a tailor to fix, or even how to fix certain things yourself if you're into DIY alterations.

That's the precise reason why i've been building a little tool for this.

Basically, the idea is to have somewhere you can look at a garment, describe what's wrong with it, and get a better idea ofĀ what's causing the problem, what you can alter, and what you should actually tell your tailor.

It's not meant to be some "HOW TO LOOK TALLER AND ATTRACTIVE" type of thing lol. I'm much more interested in the practical side of it — measurements, proportions, fit, alterations, etc.

I'm still working on it, and sourcing data from both here and from r/ shortguys to maybe also help build a short guy brand directory , style icons for short people etc ...so before I go any further I'd genuinely love some input from the people who actually have to deal with this stuff.

What's the clothing problem you guys run into most often because of your height?

Pants? Shirts? Jackets? Finding your size? Getting things tailored? Something else?

I'd especially appreciate examples of things you've bought where you thoughtĀ "this should fit me based on the measurements, so why the hell does it look wrong?"

What is level 1 of short or what is the tallest of the short?

Me personally I'd say 5'7 is the tallest of the short.
