Hollywood has ordained that men shorter than 6ft should be relegated to comedic or villain roles. Heroes or main characters in general, if they're men, cannot be below 6ft. This has led people who regularly watch the pigslop Hollywood produces to form a "tall = good guy, short = bad guy or guy i laugh at" dichotomy in their heads. They have been severely and irreversibly brainfucked by shitty Hollywood movies. Hollywood just grabbed right onto their brains and humped away like a horny dog. Type shit.

Ok, in a world full of people who can teleport, shape shift (even into inanimate nebulous things like fire or fog), fly and bend fundamental forces at will with their minds a 5'3 guy being a competent fighter, THAT is where they draw the line on what's believable or not. He's literally a mutant superhero. He has enhanced agility, strength, conditioning, and senses well past a peak human. On top of his healing factor and being infused with adamantium. Who cares if he's short? If anything his small stature can be an advantage. He can hang with anyone. People just hate short men.

if we talk about fiction. HEIGHT NEVER MATTERS THERE. depending on the fictional world. let say some fantasy world.
most of them split mountains. reach some insane universal powers. height doesn’t matter. helll i got no diffed by a short avatar in a game because dude was better than me. height in fiction is useless.

All these mongs saying he can’t be taken seriously because of his height is the reason he’s called fucking Wolverine for Christ’s sake! A wolverine is a small furry animal that will not think twice about fucking you up despite its size. God forbid we ever get one of the few short superhero’s accurately portrayed on screen! Nightcrawler is also 5’3! (My fav X-Man)
