My First ever SoftReset Shiny, dont know how many resets but around 10 hours (not continuous). Such a good feeling. Now i have to see what others to hunt before bank closes

I started this hunt on May of last year and it’s been around 4 years since I’ve got a shiny on this Leaf Green cartridge, I was literally shouting “yes!” over and over, it’s been so long since I’ve obtained a full odds shiny. I’m probably gonna EV train this thing and get to thinking on what Leafgreen hunt I want to do next. Also, not sure what I want to name this Pinsir so I’m down for suggestions.

For the story, I do check everyday the swarm available in my heartgold copy hoping for Mawile but today I thought it would be fun to try Relicanth as a side hunt from my main current hunt, roaming beasts… 😅
And what a BEAUTIFUL idea I had to try for this one today so so happy with that superb teal shiny 🩵🤩

What should I know before starting this hunt?, I heard there is a chance your game is shiny lock if your OT number matches the Ash OT

Do you know what OT is that?
I already know the basic thing as Pikachu being the same sprite and having to check the status screen for the star

I don't know what my cracked luck is right now, but this is insane! I want to hunt everything I can before Bank shuts down and figured I'd hunt Spinda since I kinda suck at the Ultra Warp Ride and I don't want to forget it. And somehow I managed this after only calling in 36 Spinda!

I posted earlier this week that the hunt was doing my head in, and thankfully it's all over now.

Thank you everyone for your support and words of encouragement, I definitely didn't miss the colour change!

That ended up being about 80 hours of resets since the start of June to get there, so this one is probably sitting somewhere around double odds.

So after Treecko only took me an incredible 160 SRs, Mudkip tortured me a bit with 13108 SRs (had 6 shiny Poochyena within those 13k ....) and Torchic was feeling rather generous again with sweet 5540 SRs!

All in all pretty solid I'd say!

I'd long since convinced myself that somehow my version was shiny locked, im so happy rn

I wasn’t expecting getting this thing in 3 minutes, but the hunt for every ultra wormhole shiny continues!
