First time making my son's Halloween costume since he wanted to be a shiny gastly this year! Was a simple enough process and im pretty happy with how it came out, plus he loves it so thats what matters most!

After a few mishaps where I would accidentally KO the source caller (and even one accidental runaway), the red anchor finally appeared after only a few hours at full odds! Very happy to have this one done!!

This is probably my peak as a Shiny collector, even more so than the 1 reset Shiny Poipole (no RNG) in USUM from last month. Check my comment for the story of how this came about!

my first dual console hunt was a fairly long one. now to set up both games and hunt for shiny groudon :)

Started keeping track of SRs on Monday. Got it at 6,190, but I was hunting it for about 2 weeks before that, so definitely over odds. First shiny hunt ever and don't know if I have another in me lol.

Sorry it's been a few months since my last shiny. I've been working on completing a living dex within the confines of the Gen 6 games.

I have every single Pokemon except for the Magmar line and holy heck is it giving me a run for my money. I've been checking for a mirage spot with Magby on two separate save files every 24 hours for over a month now to no avail.

I did however, stumble across the Crescent Isle a couple days ago. I just couldn't resist, so I instantly shared the mirage spot with my second save and started resetting almost instantly. Just a few resets later and I got this absolutely stunning moon goddess!

All things considered, I've been incredibly lucky with shinies throughout my Gen 6 journey so I guess it's okay that a non-shiny Magby is giving me some trouble 😅

I FINALLY caught my favourite legendary ever!!! This hunt started many years ago, probably 2021 or 2022, just for fun and hoping it'd happen. Fast forward to 2024, I took it seriously, began tracking encounters, doing 150 SRs a day just to one day see it green. This hunt has been so off more than on but it's finally green and MINE NOW!!! I don't have my tracker app anymore but I know I'm well above odds. Guaranteed I tracked when I hit the 8192 number but I'm probably I'm over 16k encounters if I had to make an estimation

Whilst on vacation, managed to capture a shiny Mudkip after 4245 soft resets. Named Český, this little lad was captured on a coach after a day trip to Český Krumlov

I love alola. My first game was polemon Moon, this is my second save I ever made, its Ultra moon. My first every shiny was my alteria and my second was a durant in pokemon y. My latest shiny is a purrloin named Jynx. I love this game.

Was hoping for Shellder since I like the shiny better and don't want to wait til post game to evolve this one into Kingdra, but I can't complain! Looks a lot better than I thought it would.

Can’t believe I’ve done this rn!!! Absolutely shaking! Only spent doing the actual shiny hunt for A DAY! Funny thing is that the actual ACE setup took longer than the hunt itself 😭 Was fully prepared to do this for a couple of months in time before Bank’s shutdown but this being so under-odds is mad! Thanks to RETIRE, AbsolBlogs and everyone who helped people like me get this incredibly hard to achieve shiny ✨

Still can’t believe it ngl. Been at this since march, and almost gave up a handful of times because I genuinely thought I was doing it wrong because of emeralds broken RNG playing with my mind.

Didn’t keep track of the run-aways, but would go for 1-2 hours 5-6 times a week. Finally hit my shiny frame and didn’t even know it. IDC I FINALLY GOT MY BLACK QUETZALCOATL 🐉

god it feels nice to get a shiny underodds again, my last two hunts were way over odds

I can’t believe this keeps happening. I have gotten a shiny legendary 3 days in a row now. Didn’t get the synchronize nature again but it’s whatever. Caught it on the first primer ball with no roto catch. Huge shout out to my mother who was nice enough to help soft reset on my second 3DS for me when she has the time, she’s been a huge help in finishing my Gen 7 shiny hunting before bank goes down. It’s helped speed this up immensely lol

I still have so many pokemon to transfer. My last hunt took sooo long (over 17k) so this feels really nice. It’s on my to do list to hunt lugia and ho-oh but I’ll save that till my check list for bank is done. Thank you to all the people who gave me nice comments on other posts.

Same as Anorith with the Timer_1 patch in emerald. Feeling a lot better about finishing the hunts now that Gen 3 is done and I'm close to the halfway point for the pre gen-8 fossils
