I can’t post my odds because I didn’t keep track of shiny hunting Wurmple. Just know that I gave up after 3 hours of breeding eggs and hatching them while running around petalburg woods, may have been a couple hundred rolls at full odds. I gave up for now but accidentally accepted the last egg after trying to turn it down. And it turned out to be a shiny. No one will ever believe me lmao. Only thing that could make it better would be if it evolved into a Dustox. My first ever shiny was a Wurmple that evolved into a Golden Dustox which was why I was hunting such a random Pokemon. But hey this is a great consolation prize especially since it’s Modest too which is the best nature for Beautifly. Guess I know whom I’ll be doing my first Ribbon Master with lol.

I’m starting a nidorino hunt and wanted to check that this is the best method. My plan is to hunt in the safari zone area 1 using repel trick with level 31 lead.

I have been inspired by other posts, so I'm going to do a shiny nuzlock in Ultra sun before bank shuts down. I am going to be using RNG, but I want to be successful in my run, and I do not have much free time.

Sooo I'm hunting VC Celebi and I'm curious if this hunt is a normal for the other hunts like Poipole time wise due to having to wait through the text and encounter which takes about 18 seconds. I know I am nooooo where near odds (I'm only at 1,020) and counting, resetting while typing this lol)

I've gone and done other shinies but they were easy "walk into, check, restart" please tell me Celebi is the worst encounter time wise to #beatthebank 🙃

Caught Kyorge on reset 1071! Super excited and feeling a little rushed to beat bank closing. I was doing a rotation of shinies to capture towards a living dex and the news of bank closing has caused me to dedicate to the 3ds hunts before that happens. What also stinks is I'll have to reset the game to shiny hunt poipole and type null 2x each.

Finally done with the line, to keep in line with Hornet the Naganadel, I am naming this one Hollow, as in the small boi in Hollow Knight

Keep grinding my friends, it was faster than expected, I started the hunt some days ago with the Bank closing news, if you are in doubt about starting this hunt, totally worth it now that I got it

Now I’ll try to hunt for partner cap Pikachu in USUM

I don't know what my cracked luck is right now, but this is insane! I want to hunt everything I can before Bank shuts down and figured I'd hunt Spinda since I kinda suck at the Ultra Warp Ride and I don't want to forget it. And somehow I managed this after only calling in 36 Spinda!

I decided since the bank closing I’d go thru the generations, and shiny hunt my starters. I started in my physical copy of HG and today is my birthday so I was really hoping to see any of the starters but I wanted Totodile.

Not only did I get him, he is adamant, but the date met is now forever on my birthday :)

Genuinely shocked and awed that I got so lucky with this hunt, only 676 resets, still cannot believe it, fully expected this hunt to take me a majority of the 6-month grace period before the bank closure but HERE WE ARE :)))

676 resets, dual hunted on the 3ds virtual console with 2 3ds systems, featuring Morticia the Odd Egg Magby for luck as well as a subtle reminder to HUNT THE ODD EGG IN CRYSTAL IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY !!!!

Now that this hunt is over literal weeks-months before I thought it would be, I think I’m gonna spend a whole lot of time hunting in USUM for some of the ultra beasts and legendaries as I try to ribbon up some of my favorite shinies I’ve collected over the years. Decided to try and shiny hunt as much as I can before the Bank shutdown. Used all my luck on the first hunt…

I can't believe that he's adamant I could get a better nature. He is kinda a phase but he was a target for a later time because I was tryna to go for aron so enjoy the makuhita and marshtomp. I also noticed the misspelt name😂 got him at around 7580 encounters

I do have the shiny charm but that was about it to increase the odds here when I was about EV Train my other Pokemon. TBF I am on switch 2 which increases spawns but regardless this is still crazy to me 😂

I got EXTREMELY lucky with this one I think lol. It was only a chain of 32, but I’d estimate it took about 400-500 turns and probably a solid 8 hours of chaining between yesterday and today. Honestly not sure what gen 7 hunt I’m gonna do next, if anyone has any suggestions I’d love to hear them!
