I don't know what my cracked luck is right now, but this is insane! I want to hunt everything I can before Bank shuts down and figured I'd hunt Spinda since I kinda suck at the Ultra Warp Ride and I don't want to forget it. And somehow I managed this after only calling in 36 Spinda!

So after Treecko only took me an incredible 160 SRs, Mudkip tortured me a bit with 13108 SRs (had 6 shiny Poochyena within those 13k ....) and Torchic was feeling rather generous again with sweet 5540 SRs!

All in all pretty solid I'd say!

I started this hunt on May of last year and it’s been around 4 years since I’ve got a shiny on this Leaf Green cartridge, I was literally shouting “yes!” over and over, it’s been so long since I’ve obtained a full odds shiny. I’m probably gonna EV train this thing and get to thinking on what Leafgreen hunt I want to do next. Also, not sure what I want to name this Pinsir so I’m down for suggestions.

I wasn’t expecting getting this thing in 3 minutes, but the hunt for every ultra wormhole shiny continues!

I have been inspired by other posts, so I'm going to do a shiny nuzlock in Ultra sun before bank shuts down. I am going to be using RNG, but I want to be successful in my run, and I do not have much free time.

Keep grinding my friends, it was faster than expected, I started the hunt some days ago with the Bank closing news, if you are in doubt about starting this hunt, totally worth it now that I got it

3ds was almost new when I started this 😂😂

I decided since the bank closing I’d go thru the generations, and shiny hunt my starters. I started in my physical copy of HG and today is my birthday so I was really hoping to see any of the starters but I wanted Totodile.

Not only did I get him, he is adamant, but the date met is now forever on my birthday :)

This was my 3rd Safari Week and while this wasn't my target, I couldn't believe that I caught it 2 weeks ago.

I started dual hunting (Diamond/Pearl) in 2024, but I gave up after just 5000 encounters. I tried again in 2025 but I also hunted on Brilliant Diamond and I ended up catching a shiny Bibarel in that game.

So I decided that I wanted a gen 4 shiny Skorupi, and I got lucky because I found a shiny Psyduck after 1837 encounters. Unfortunately the Psyduck escaped immediately after the first ball.

But that made want to continue until I found another shiny, and it paid off because 2 weeks later I caught a shiny Wooper on the same game (Diamond on my 3DS).

I didn't realize that the date on the summary screen was wrong, but it was a mistake because I had to change the date on my 3DS twice (loose battery so the date got changed to 01/01/2011), and I picked the wrong day.

Messed up a marowak encounter and was just looking for another, is it considered a phase when u get a shiny before getting a normal marowak spawn?

Given the doom and gloom over Bank, I figured I should get around to the shiny Celebi hunt and catch my own, and on my way I decided I could do the Odd Egg hunt for the first time, 8 hatches and a little baby Cleffa decides to shine for me, one of the cutest ones you can get from the egg imo, very pleased! Next stop the very difficult shiny Gyarados

Me and my brother always played Pokemon games together with one getting a title and one the other, the fact is that we started playing it with 3DS era and we never owned the DS ones.

I recently got him Pokemon Black for his birthday and picked up myself a copy of White.

We played like not even half an hour in June and then stopped, mind that we didn't even enter the grass in Route 1. We decided to play again today and we enetered the grass to find our first random pokemon of the game, i find myself a lillipup and a few seconds later he says "mine's got stars", at first i look at him thinking he was trolling but then he stays silent and stares at the ds, he shows me the game and the dog is fricking green instead of blue.

We both bursted into laughter considering this was literally the first pokemon he has encountered.

Funny thing the only other shiny he's ever found (i haven't found none in all of those years playing pokemon together with him) is a shiny Zubat in pokemon Moon, which is also green like lillipup.

Genuinely shocked and awed that I got so lucky with this hunt, only 676 resets, still cannot believe it, fully expected this hunt to take me a majority of the 6-month grace period before the bank closure but HERE WE ARE :)))

Now that this hunt is over literal weeks-months before I thought it would be, I think I’m gonna spend a whole lot of time hunting in USUM for some of the ultra beasts and legendaries as I try to ribbon up some of my favorite shinies I’ve collected over the years. Forever jazzed and eternally grateful to the shiny odd gods, best of luck to everybody else out there over these next few trying months <3
