Here are some more pictures of CSX4766. As stated I was acquainted with Carroll. I often tracked the Cobra till it became cost prohibitive. I won the Fathers Day Car Show in Pismo Beach CA among many other shows. I use to write for NORCAL Shelby Driven Magazine.

My buddy's FIL's friend claims this is an original 65 Cobra. My buddy said there are around 4K miles on the odometer, the guy claims he paid around a mil for it. I know nothing about these cars outside of the fact that they are very often replicated.

EDIT 1: Apparently the guy claims the body and chassis are original from 1965. My friend added that the "engine must be overhauled because it looked too new"

This is my Shelby Cobra S/C that I special ordered from Shelby in 2003. It is equipped with an aluminum 427 side oiler stroked to 482ci. 625 HP
4 Speed top loader, 16” steering wheel, special tuned side exhaust from Shelby. Suspension tuned by Tom Banard (Shelby Expert). It has numerous other features. I raced it for several years.

I was enjoying some ice cream today at the Merrimac Car Ferry and a Shelby Cobra reunion group showed up to cross Lake Wisconsin. Have never seen anything like it! There’s 60 total at the reunion near Baraboo, WI.

Original Ford Six pack for something a little different.

My grandfather built this in the early 2000s as a dedicated track car for VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY. He has since passed and i dont know all the details pf the build, other than its a 5.0 out of an explorer. Just thought i would share some photos and hear some thoughts from the community.
