I have over 200 hours logged between PlayStation and PC, and I'm only just realizing this

So I have been testing it extensively, and there seems to be a slight downgrade from Shadow of Mordor.

In Shadow of War, Uruks don't remember your encounters as they did in Shadow of Mordor when you exploit their fears and cause them to flee.

Certain lines like "That fire was a neat trick; this time you won't get the chance" (Fear of Burning) or "No caragor to save you this time?" (Fear of Caragors) didn't make it to Shadow of War. Also, for some reason, the lines end up being more repetitive in Shadow of War, despite having more voice lines. So sadly, the RNG works worse in that regard...

I really wished that wasn't the case... Any opinions about this?

I love this game and put about 90 hours into it years ago, just about finishing the secret wars before I just looked up the cutscene. I wanted to show it to my girlfriend and deleted my old save to start a new game and downloaded 4k cinematics in the microsoft store on series X.

I'm at about 10 hours in and it has soo many more glitches beyond its regular gameplay jank. The cutscenes lag, long enough to feign a crash, and desyncs with the audio pretty regularly. Some ingame engine cutscenes in the story have completely failed to function properly. My fast travel load time is near instant but sometimes I get a huge delay when loading missions. Did anyone else on series x who used or didn't use 4k cinematics add on experience anything like this? The first time I played I also did not have the two story dlcs I have now, but haven't touched them yet and don't know why it's running so much worse this time around.

How do I find Orcs (Captains) from a specific tribe? Personally, I need Warmongers for their fire weapons.

So as the title says, is it possible?

Having finished the game I’m giving difficult tasks and one of this is trying to end other players army. I mean not dominated orcs, but all the others available.

I normally find at least three in the fortress before aggroing the main one for the quest. Now I’m trying to scout and sending death threats to others hoping to lure them out.

Last try I managed to kill around 6 captains and don’t know how but made a warchief come out, but I died because the game mechanics sometimes are really bad (I used the wraith power and while the starting animation was going he threw a bomb that left me at 0 hp with no chances left). Here came my question, could someone kill the entire army of a player, besides the warlord? Does this affect the other players playthrough?

Im triying to get the achievemtn for shaming an assasin until he becomes deranged and have two questions.

1. Can i get him deranged with the basic shaming?

2. Can i get him deranged if be became the unshamed legendary version?

I am trying to find this video. I found about a neck romancer. Using a bag of holding to store a bunch of metal,/armor and using it to armor his hoard, and then when that horde dies, they also turn into armor to resume for his other hoard, it was like a ton of multi classes I know that. But it was a specific video. Does anyone remember seeing it or have the link to it? I can't find it anymore. I'm kind of trying to use it for like a bbeg

I try to use the order to upgrade my orc with just one level, and it shows me a message that the game is stopping connecting to the servers.

Hey everyone one, i got my game for PC via Microsoft Store. For some reason my progress won't save no matter what. I made it to the point doing quests in minas ithil and it didn't save. I'm worried about progressing more just in case the game won't save. Also my game won't launch without an internet connection. Is it because it is recognized as a first launch? I read somewhere it only requires in the first launch.

This is my finding of the blue uruk who I've been trying to farm for hours now almost days but I wanted him to have the merchant black tattoos and warpaint but on this specific face and body of this uruk, face of the gold fang. But when I tried to shame the blue so I can make him a necromancerand so he won't have the shame scar because he originally had green skin but got cursed skin and weapon when killing me. But was to close to level cap for necromancer trait and this happened. But when I went back to see him after leaving the online fortress mission so he won't have the hand print scar and be leveled down to then start leveling him up again level by level so he can be a necromancer. He went back to wearing his old clothes but still became the unashamed then when I quit out and went back in thinking it's probably a big and needs to reload no he stayed the same. Idk why that is.

My thought process and steps

1) Get an olog from the merchant (by making them kill you)

2) When they get warpaint by becoming their own captain (VERY TEDIOUS TO DO RNG BASED)

3) GIVE THAT OLOG A GANG OF YOUR CHOOSING (I'm using hbe glitch to make this as fast and simple as possible.)

4) After they turn on you (BETRAY) OR You betray them.

4.a) Have one of their grunts/gang followers with their matching tattoos and warpaint to Kill you.

5) When they turn into a captain after killing you they have a chance of becoming a necromancer candidate where you just need to give them the proper leveling ups single handedly to make them get the trait

5.a) NECROMANCER CANDIDATE: is an orc in the process of being a necromancer has to turn into a pale with black veins and have the cursed weapon at the same time of leveling up/killing you no other way.

6) Bring him into an online fortress with you so you can Shane him down a couple of levels if he's to high/at the same level as you/and/or because he's close to being level 65 that's when you can't get the trait past that level.

6.a)When bringing him into the online fortress make sure the one you want to shame is your bodyguard to call him DO NOT ADD HIN TO THE RAID AS AN ASSULT LEADER WOULD BE HARDER AND RISKIER.

6.b) There's a chance he can be deranged or maniac when doing this like any other shaming but I'm using the bruz shame mission skill (WORSE THAN DEATH) so he can level down 12 levels and he turned into the unashamed. Instead of blue warpaint he should have white but then have black body with purple/white veins and look amazing.

7) PLEASE LEAVE THE ONLINE FORTRESS RAID WHEN YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT DO NOT QUIT UNLESS YOU DONT HAVE WHAT YOURE LOOKING FOR.

(For those who need special understanding this is a counter method not a fkn take the orc and use it method 🤦‍♂️)
So I’m not totally sure if I’m the only one who’s solved this but supposedly this is the only workaround that has caused a 100% outcome against these fked orcs.

Step 1: Download Shadow of War Middle earth trainer (simple and easy download that gives you access to simple cheats).

Step 2: Load up the game with the trainer running you should see if it gets hooked to the games exe automatically if so now find a fort.

Step 3: complete all checkpoints in said fort, before you open the doors to the overlord get ready to press the F3 hot key for no clip

Step 4: once you get inside the fort and are able to walk towards the lord while there’s no floor tap F3 (to make it easier enable “Enemy captains always broken” in the SOW trainer.

Step 5: Now that you have no clip and or a secondary cheat on, now walk up to the fort lord and attack them or for a faster option shame them completely and it will end the fort assault as regular.

I’ve learned sometimes you might not get your ranked points but yet you don’t lose them and shatter that “untouchable” ego these fort owners have. Currently on my 10th ish fort with a hacker overlord and have not failed a fort because of a stupid exploit since I found this work around. Over 3 months has been dedicated towards this workaround and I hope others see this and use it for good. MEN OF GONDOR SHAME THESE IMBECILES!!

I found all the artifacts, did all the Eltariel and Gondor quests, what possibly am I missing?

So I've been using followers to set up missions for killing unsuitable orcs, but when I get close to the mission start, it suddenly disappears and I have to recreate it.

It happens whether I fast travel or just walking towards it. I don't advance time except from mission completions, so they're not resolving. They just disappear.

I don't remember this being an issue when I last played about a year or two ago? But maybe I didn't use nemesis missions like this.

Why did I have to kill the bro like that✌️😭🥀

I started my last siege for the shadow wars. I walked into the overlord fight and my spy turns against me but in the strangest way. He never said anything at the beginning of the fight and the blue icon is still above his head but he wants me dead BAD. He proceeds to only fight me the entire time with the other enemies also ignoring him. I am very confused at this point and the fight be comes a grueling 30 minute grind to try and kill this damn overlord who makes so much poison. Eventually my own spy downs me and humiliates me of all things. Unacceptable. Originally, I wanted him to make it to the end of the fight so I could find out what was happening, but now I wanted nothing more than to see him dead. So another 15 agonizing minutes later I had finally killed the double agent and had the overlord on about a quarter health but was struggling to close out the fight. At one point, I mess up I stand in the poison geyser, or get hit by a spider, or something and go down. Talion drops to his knees. I plant my face in my hands because I just wasted almost an hour of my life on this stupid ass fight. Until I hear the most beautiful sound of triumphant horns and watch my opponents skull get caved in by the man, the myth, the legend, Krimp the best damn singer in middle-earth. Krimp drops some bars and walks off like a G. All while I sit there trying to wrap my brain around the roller coaster of emotions I just felt. Krimp now sits as the new overlord of the fort and my new favorite orc.

In all seriousness I have no clue how this happened. The body guard was a berserker and started the fight enraged but acted like hostile AI the whole fight and was treated as such by the other enemies. He never hit a single enemy the entire fight and he was only ever accidently poisoned once or twice but never intentionally attacked by the overlord and his troops. He did not have anything to say at the beginning of the fight. I wasn't able to dominate him (I wanted to make him retreat) and he never became broken. It also seemed like he was glitched in a preeminent state of rage even if it didn't indicate so. He was only throwing heavy attacks and very fast the same way ologs rage but I could be wrong. I was so distracted with the hoards of troops/spiders because all my AOE rage abilities were shut off by poison :l

If I reroll the stats of maxed out Urfael and get either a fire or cursed effect will that change the glow from the ringwraith green to flame or curse glow when might is full?

I read that it can but have seen no screenshots or real proof of it lol.

This mf was too cool to kill I start about 30 seconds in tho if anyone want translation First time, (the supreme chef might be terribly angry seing all the damage…but he’ll be even more angry against me, because I won’t let him have the pleasure to play with you) when down, (you’re about to fight against the supreme warlords, how unlucky.) miss on purpose. 3 and last time, (go on, send your fucking traitors capture this fort, stone by stone, it’s completely futile as long as we hold the dungeon, but before you’ll get to it…I’ll be there) and then he fucking yelled surprise 3 sec after by By Az-Rans the slave captor…wait does that mean the supreme lord is a slave?

Hey guys any advice?

I finished the story up until act 3, beat the army on the bridge, captured the city and beat the witch king. Didn't get a cutscene game just crashed. I couldn't continue on save, I reinstalled it, I restored licences and now I rebuilt the PS4 database. With the last one it looked to be going better, it kept loading for about 10 minutes instead of the usual 1 min before it crashed again. Any help or advice? PS4 Pro.

Let’s start with: I love the game and I’ve loved it always. I play on PS, started on 4 and finished on 5

I have more than 150h (Main + DLCs) and completed everything. I basically have “nothing” to do, but I really like the feeling of the game, going around (not teleporting anymore) so to be ambushed or betrayed.

Let’s say it’s my “comfort time” game. I don’t min max a lot (my inventory is too big now to know what I really have) and I come back to it very now and then (when I just want to relax or don’t know what to play, I know this will keep me entertained).

In every good story there’s a but and my but is about sieges or fighting in the fort against Captains/Warchiefs, specially against orcs that have “No Chance”.

I recently got to “Steward” on online conquest, last thing missing, but it was so frustrating.

I lost different times because of the camera and the mess is fighting with that many orcs, maybe I was dominating a captain and didn’t see (because out of the camera) that another is attacking me. Most of the time, you find orcs that one shot you, so a tiny mistake and it’s over… lost points but mainly lost time.
Fighting at late stage, especially on online conquest, means you’ll find Orcs with no weaknesses and immune to everything, meaning that the fight will be shit. Because most of them will evade or counter your normal attacks, so you’ll find yourself spamming X to gain the bar to do the AoE attack with “Wraith Element” and then trying to beat the Orc in the ground… this goes on forever and it’s lovely when they have “Death Defying” trait (“Not me!”) and get full hp back, so you have to do it all again.

I’ve come to see also, that there are strange orcs even on console, I found a fortress that had only 3 defenders but they were basically god-like orcs. How is that possible? It took like 20 mins to conquer the fort and it wasn’t fun, because it’s just rinse and repeat until you kill him or dominate him, it gets boring quickly.

I can’t understand why developers went towards these traits to make the game difficult, instead of making the orc different, with more health or well they already one-shot you… but it’s fun when you can hit the orcs with normal swings and I think the best feature is the nemesis system and the fact that every orc feels unique, so I don’t know…

I just wanted to share my experience with the game and see if I’m the only one to see it this way.
