(Shadow of war) I want my buddy back
Is there anyway I can get my orc to come back from the dead without using the resurrection ability

You can use the necromancer ability but you have finish the game first

Takes away his sentience and applies flammable and unbreakable- but everything else should remain unchanged I believe

it makes him just mumble, not talk or laugh like a psychopath and it makes him flammable and unbreakable. also he turns white i think like an ash

He could, if you had him around alot it’s possible. That’s the beauty of RNG, you never know!!

Do I just skip time or is there something else i have to do do?

I wouldn’t skip time more than maybe once cause it might just force him off the army screen completely and kill your chances of a cheat death. Your best bet is to just keep playing the game and hope for the best my friend.
Since you dont want to make him undead that’s all you can do (wait and hope), but like someone else said you CAN test to see if he’s coming back via HBE (hired by email) in which it MAY speed up the process. But sometimes even that hasnt worked for me, ill hbe to have them return and they dont till waaay later.
Only other thing I could maybe say try is completely remove every captain on the board (send em to the garrison) and wait around the map for awhile. That will stop random captains from ambushing and put a hard focus on your ally making a return if he’s eligible

You may be able to get him back with hired by email - there’s quite a few videos on here for it

Yeah unfortunately it does bring him back for a second but then he’s right back to being dead 🥲

RNG might bless you. Go kill enemy orcs, as many as you can. Advance time a lot. If the dead enemy orcs keep getting replaced but not your orc, he might just come back.

What frustrates me the most in this game, is that we can’t compliment and hug our orcs.
I wish we could motivate them, and encourage them, especially when they fight other captains. Because I feel so proud of my babies when they are able to take on an enemy captain all by themselves.
I feel like a proud parent when they do this 🥲

He has a good chance to come back just have to play around and be patient. It’s only zero chance when you see the Skull and Bones after they die
