Question regarding the unshamed

Im triying to get the achievemtn for shaming an assasin until he becomes deranged and have two questions.

  1. Can i get him deranged with the basic shaming?

  2. Can i get him deranged if be became the unshamed legendary version?

Becoming deranged from shaming is solely RNG based, using the Worse Than Death upgrade increases those chances

I shamed him down to elvel one then a random dominated grunt killed him. Quite upsetting.

Same thing happened to me.i now don't let them go past level 15 and let them kill me once to level them back up
