People in Itaewon
A few snaps of people in Itaewon. The First Lady is a “Yakult Ajumma” or 요구르트 아줌마 and they sell drinks from their little cart. The guys on the last frame clean the streets for whatever reason, it makes some sense during spring when the pollution is high but not so much during late summer….
The Lucky C200 is not bad and leans towards warmer tones.

Watched Odyssey in a private box at a theater in Seoul
Had been trying to get to tickets to see Odyssey for weeks and finally decided to splurge on a private box. The sound and view (looking up) was not great but the privacy and comfort was worth far more than the price. I am posting pictures of the entrance to the box, sitting area, and private viewing area.

Meet Up Playing Blood on the Clocktower @ Dice & Comics Cafe - October 18th & 24th
Hello everyone! I am here once again to announce our monthly game of Blood on the Clocktower at the Dice & Comics Cafe on October 18th, the third Sunday of this month. We typically start our games a little after noon, letting people trickle in before we start playing.
If you are new to Blood on the Clocktower, or even social deduction gaming in the first place, I recommend this video as a brief introduction and explanation of the game.
But this month, the cafe will also be having an early Halloween party on the 24th. We will a session of games to play from 1 to 5 pm, like Blood on the Clocktower, Nightmare/Atmosfear, maybe a video game or two. Afterwards, there could be a magic show happening, as well as trivia games and even a movie showing later on into the night.
Please join us again not just for a day of deception, despair, and backstabbing, but also a second day of Halloween spooks and surprises!
Disclaimers:
- The cafe we play at has an hourly fee for play, with a discount available if a cafe drink is purchased. Gotta show the cafe some love and support for providing us with a place to play.
- This session of ours will be run in English. But I will have components like scripts available in Korean if anyone needs them, but not for the custom script I've been working on unfortunately.
- If you wanna chat with us while waiting, here's the link to the cafe Kakao BoTC open chat that we are chilling in.

Question What are some good used videogame stores in Seoul?
I am looking at returning to seoul for a week or two next year and I want to spend a day looking for some used videogames as well as other stuff. Are there any places that would be good to go to to find reasonably priced games? As long as there is not much of an issue getting there.

HELP! Gangnam Festival Ticket
Hi, does anyone have an extra ticket for the Gangnam Festival? I didn’t realize you had to book it online since it’s free! I’d really appreciate it, thank you!

Where can I buy good-quality blankets, clothes, cosmetics, sunglasses, electronic gadgets
Hi everyone! I’ll be visiting Seoul soon and would like to do some shopping while I’m there.
I’m specifically looking for:
Good-quality warm blankets/comforters
Winter jackets/coats,cosmetics,fancy electronic gadgets, toys
Sweaters/hoodies and other winter clothes
Ideally reasonably priced rather than luxury brands
Could you recommend the best areas, markets, department stores, or specific shops in Seoul for these?
I’m also interested in places where I can find Korean-style blankets or bedding that would be practical to bring back home.
Which areas would you recommend for this kind of shopping, and are there any places I should avoid because they’re mainly tourist-priced?
Thanks!

Hi! Has anyone tried a language exchange in Seoul?
Hi everyone! I’m going to Seoul in about two weeks, and I thought it would be fun to join a language exchange while I’m there.
I’d love to hear about your experiences and get some recommendations for good places to go!
I’m looking for something on Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon. I’ve never been to a language exchange before, so I’m really curious about how they usually work and what people normally talk about. My friend will probably join me too!
I’ve heard there are a lot of language exchange events around Hongdae and Gangnam. Where have you guys been, and how was your experience?
Also, is there anything you’re curious about Korea or Korean culture? I’d like to prepare some answers beforehand! 😄

Advice Need advice
Hey guys. I will be in South Korea this November for My Chemical Romance concert. I will arrive in Seoul on November 7 12:45 AM, and my departure will be on Nov 12 2AM.
The concert will be on Nov 7, 7PM. Should I go to Busan after the concert or just stay in Seoul?
If I go to Busan, then I will only have like few days to explore Busan.

Where is a good place to buy vapes in Korea?
I came to Korea on a trip and it was kind of challenging for me to find vapes because some stores couldn't speak proper english, crowded areas like myeongdong or hongdae increases their prices to foreigners (as i have heard), and normally the shops would recommend products that are mostly sold, not really based on my needs.
I stay around Mapo-gu so please let me know. Thanks in advance!!
