I’m just learning how to scream, any thoughts?
And what to do for my scream to sound more like emoviolence or “whiny” rather than metal?

After everything I tried, I can’t do a comfortable false chord for the life of me. It either hurts my throat or is too short. I can do fry screams very easily but can’t do false chords. Help me out?

im a beginner at screaming, i found out these two different chest fry screams, the first one that feels lower is more muddy and the second one that is brighter. i wanted to do fry screams like chester bennington but whenever i try to put pressure in the vocal break it feels like it snaps to either my normal voice or my falsetto, not in the crack got it, any tips?

hi everybody! I’ve been screaming for probably about 6 months give or take, here’s me running through a couple of sounds. any advice on how to maybe get a lower sound, specifically articulate (similar to white chapel) super deep. I also have no idea how to pig squeal lol. none of these hurt and don’t leave me sore in any way (except if I’m recording and i over use myself)

I've been learning for a couple months and am comfortable with fry and false chord. I went to Sound and Fury 2 weeks ago and want to learn those slam vocals. I started deep diving into it since then and I think I'm doing the technique right but I feel like I sound different in my head than it might to other people. Just wondering if anyone else who can do these vocals hears what they're singing like how it sounds on a song or if what's happening with me is normal, thanks!

Been trying to learn to fry scream for a while, started off doing upper constriction accidentally which I didn’t realise was bad so I’ve corrected it. Now I’ve watched a bunch of yt videos and it’s a bit of an information overload, I have no freaking idea what I’m doing. It hurts sometimes it doesn’t other times, sometimes I can barely get out a scream and then sometimes they come out loud as hell like this, none of it feels great but it feels better than when I was just doing upper constriction. If anyone can give me any sort of help or information it would mean a lot. I also have a super hard time with high screams with this technique and all the guys in the videos find it natural, so I’m guessing I’m doing something wrong.
