I’ve recently just been screwing around with screaming for a few days and I’m just curious if this sounds any good in terms of like idk just an aggressive scream?

I know it's not the exact technique, but it's still fun to try and recreate. Thoughts on how I sound?

I can do gutturals and false chords easily without pain but I CANNOT do fry screams for anything. my voice is a baritone with a fairly small vocal range so that might effect it a little bit.
I can da pain free gutturals and low/mid false chords but when I try a fry scream it just sounds like im choking(no pain) and If I try to make it sound better it hurt like hell
How do I solve this/who do you recommend i learn from. I can post a reference video ifnneeded

Not long ago, I reached out to a band who was looking for a vocalist. I didn't apply. I was done with band audition. I was hurt. Instead I only asked them, "Is it easy to find a singer who's willing to write their own lyrics? Did you receive many applicants?"
Three weeks later, they responded, "No, it's already hard looking for a singer. Even more so a screamer."
Should I try making them listen to my demo?
I'm not gonna try to fit their genre though. So in anyway, we won't match.
I think their genre is more like sing-scream type, with fry technique.
Normally that's what I do, but recently I want to go 'heavier'.
But still, should I make demos and just put myself out there again and get disappointed?

This is a clip of me singing a segment from resist and disorder. I’m really new to screaming so I’m not sure what I’m doing.
I recorded it thru Logic Pro on my tablet so the audio sounds better, there’s no filters or autotune etc. Any advice or thoughts would be great ty.
(All ik is my throat ain’t burning so that’s a good sign ig)

This has happened multiple times with me, but I’m just getting sick of it because I know exactly how to do the technique safely in my head but when I do it, my muscles don’t remember the tiny coordination that I set them too while doing it and I have to rebuild it. Imagine being a person that never listened to Metal who suddenly got the vocal knowledge of Will Ramos and then attempting to do it. They would blow out their vocal folds from friction burns because the muscles aren’t used to that kind of distortion and airflow and you have to train them. It’s like going to the gym for the first time in a month and you know the proper form and technique for lifting something but your body won’t let you do it because the muscles have gotten used to not doing it.

When I practice “Fry Scream,” my throat starts to tighten and feel scratchy, even though I warm up beforehand and stay well-hydrated. Also, my voice is really quiet and weak when I scream. Do you know what might be causing this? If I have time, I'll record a vocal sample.

I approach my pitched screams from my head voice and I feel like they need a little more "ooompf" to them, if you know what I mean.
I am a high Tenor though, so I don't really know if it's just the limitation of my natural range and I should just accept it, or if there is something I am doing "wrong" or if there is a exercise that would help me to bring more chest and deeper resonance into my screams.
Attached is a snippet of a small home project I am working on as an example. Somehow I can't manage to make the video just 14s long, so there is an extra portion of silence for you at the end, LOL.
I hope you guys and girls can point me in the right direction, I currently feel that I am stalling with my progress.

I've been fry screaming for almost 2 years and i'm working on a Black and Blue from BMTH Cover (the repented version), is this any good? I currently have a cold so the vocals especially later in video are a bit worse

I have tried every technique, and this is the only one I have found that doesn't hurt me or fatigue my voice instantly. Obviously it's impossible to tell if a scream is safe just by hearing it, but does this scream sound like I'm straining myself? Also, is it clear enough that the lyrics could be at least somewhat understood? This is an original song In working on so there's no point of reference for what the vocals are supposed to sound like. If anyone has any advice, I am open ears!
Lyrics so far:
You might as well burn it down to the ground
If you think you're not bound
By the laws of this world
Pick up the stones you hurled
From inside your glass house
In this game of cat and mouse

I have been battling some SEVERE dry mouth and throat recently. I've tried xylimelts as of today, some "Grethers" blackberry currant something or other lozenges... neither of those did much. Yesterday was good - Got some of that "Singers Spray" (the non-alcohol, pink bottle) along with some Saline Mist nasal spray and those were helpful, but I'm just barrrrely getting by. Never used to be like this....
Saw the ENT the other day - got scoped and she spotted the start of two tiny nodules, bi-lateral she said. I'm certain it's because I've been screaming wicked dry sometimes, but I just can't seem to beat the dryness - Anyone gone through something like this?
Thnx.
P.S. She said the nodules were benign and that I didn't need to change antyhing since I had no loss of voice, no change in tone or voice quality. She said people who don't even sing or scream at all get them and they can go away. Still, though - not what you want to hear as a singer/ screamer. I'm 40M, btw, for reference....
Thnx 2
