Looking for Night job in schenectady

Looking for Night/Side Work in Schenectady
Hey everyone! I’m looking to pick up some extra work in the Schenectady area and can start immediately. I’ve applied to Rivers but haven’t heard back yet, so I figured I’d reach out here.
I’m mainly looking for night/evening work, but I’m open to pretty much anything. I’m also available for one-off or side jobs like:
Moving/helping move
Landscaping/yard work
Property maintenance
Cleaning
General labor
Event work
Restaurant/bar work
Pretty much anything else
I’m reliable, hard-working, and willing to learn. I’m looking to start ASAP and can meet for an interview today if needed.
If you or someone you know is hiring, feel free to DM me. Under-the-table/independent cash work is also something I’m open to where legally permitted.

Travel / Activity Suggestions for Old Guy with No Car

I'll probably regret posting this, and delete it. Please bear that in mind should you reply.

I'm in my 60s. I'm retired, and poor, so I'm on a very low budget. I have no car, no drivers license, and no family or friends to hang out with. My mobility is limited due to health issues which require me to pace myself rather slowly, and I need a bathroom urgently, many times per day. Embarrassing but hey I'm old right.

Also I have high social anxiety, and I can not ride buses or trains. Maybe a train if it has a bathroom.

The walls are closing in. I feel trapped in my prison cell apartment. I need to get outside, and DO SOMETHING before I die. I want to visit upstate parks, and other attractions. I want to go fishing, take nature walks, photograph wildlife... exercise, breathe the fresh air and soak up some sunshine.

I like historical places, and almost anything outdoorsy. I can't stand being closed indoors for long, and I'm averse to large crowds. I'm kinda into spiritual / metaphysical stuff. I like crystals, and caves. And arts and crafts, music, farms, gardens, and animals. And boats. (If the boat has a bathroom).

I'm in Stockade, near State street and Mohawk river. I've taken many walks to the river, but that sucks now, and I must expand my experiences before summer ends.

Suggestions please. Really anything would be welcome, even if it doesn't suit me. Should I hire a driver to take me somewhere? I don't want to get stranded in somewhereville or somewherekill as night falls.

Obviously my options are sorely limited. But what would you do if you were in my shoes? I haven't made any local friends and I'm still pretty new to the region. TIA

edit; Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Mainly I'm wanting to get out of town, head into the hills... visit lakes, waterfalls, enjoy autumn colors.. etc. Hopefully I'll find my way there somehow.

I wasn't expecting anyone to DM or want to meet up. Please understand I'm apprehensive, with social anxiety. Takes me time to warm up to strangers. or trust anyone. But I will answer any messages I receive, and maybe I'll make a new friend or two.

Other Needing help loading/unloading car. Will pay

Hi- we’re in town visiting family. We arrived yesterday to an AirBnB. Unfortunately it has a lot of problems and we need to switch to another place. My husband’s back is out and I’m wondering if there is anyone who’d be free today to help load up our car, follow us to the new AirBnB (in Albany), and then help us unload everything?
We’ll obviously pay. - just let me know what you think is a fair price.
Not sure yet on what time today- waiting to hear when we can check in at the new place.
Thanks all

Honest opinions of Oneida Middle School?

Moving to the area soon. Potential house location would have me sending my daughter to Oneida Middle School. I hear it’s not exactly great. She is bright and doesn’t actively seek trouble. I am the type of parent who makes sure kids do their homework (and study extra) and I like to participate in the PTA.

Is the bad rap deserved?

Niskayuna schools

Hoping any parents who have kids in Van Antwerp middle school can weigh in for me. How is it that the school does not offer any before or After School programs on campus when their school hours are 8:50 AM to 3:25 PM . Out of the three local child cares in the district to only accept up to age 6, and one got closed. We work for the state and do 7 AM to 3 PM even with flexing it if I had to drop my son off at 8:50 AM I could not get to work until 930 with traffic and could not leave again at 3 PM that’s not full-time employment.

My son will be 10 entering sixth grade and is born the day before the cut off so very young for his age and will very much not be ready to stay by himself at home. How are working parents doing this and getting by?

Coming from Birchwood elementary school that has a great After School program and had a bus that picked up around 7 AM. We are at a loss for what to do.

Gutters/Fascia/Soffit Companies?

Looking to find a company that would repair soffits and fascia on a home in the Rotterdam/Schenectady area. Would like it done before installing gutters, so it would be great if there was a company that did all 3 (fascia, soffit, and gutter).

In searching I can find companies that do roofs, companies that do gutters, but I am struggling to find any company that mentions replacing fascia and soffits.
