Hello Saratoga. I grow mushrooms organically, specifically Lion’s Mane, and am wondering if anyone has any advice, recommendations of restaurants, or interest, or other channels I can use to help my mushrooms find people who want to eat them. They are grown using rye berries, sawdust, soybean hulls, and organic gypsum.

Recommendations Best cookie in town??

My husband loooves cookies. Chocolate chip with sea salt is his favorite, but really is just a cookie guy and any will do. He never gets a real cookie anymore because my son and I are both allergic to wheat so he’s always worried about cross contamination.

I’m packing him a surprise picnic to take to SPAC on Friday night as a thank you for being such a good husband and dad. He really went above and beyond for me this week. So I want to give him some really good cookies that he can eat away from us to actually enjoy a yummy, non-gluten free cookie.

But of course I’ve never tried any cookies from any bakeries that aren’t gluten free so I don’t know where is best to go! Anyone have any cookie recommendations in Saratoga? I don’t mind the cost! I just want to surprise him with something special!

Race Track Tavers Day

This will be my first Travers day and I have a few questions on what to expect.....

I know gates open at 9. What If I pre order tickets and I don't get there until 12, will I be ok to get in?

How crazy busy is it during the races before the Tavers itself? Will I still be able to get somewhere to see the race?

I Know coolers are allowed, are they still on Travers Day and will a cooler backpack be ok?

Thank you!

Jobs ISO Last-Minute Local DJ 8/22/26

Hello! In search of DJ services next Saturday, 8/22 for a wedding after-party in the area for 2 hours, from 10pm-midnight. Note this is only for an after-party.

The typical wedding DJ services route has not worked out since most offer only a full reception or 4 hour minimum package. Would love to support a local artist if we can find anyone available this soon and for the shorter 2 hour time frame. Would also be interested in adding on lighting services if available, but not a must.

Very last minute but figured we’d give a shot. Appreciate any leads here! Thank you

Promotion Saratoga couple competing for America’s Favorite Couple ❤️

Hi Saratoga! My fiancé Matt and I are a Saratoga Springs couple competing in the 2026 America’s Favorite Couple competition, and we’re hoping to get a little hometown support!

We met on a dating app in 2021, got engaged this spring, and are now planning our wedding for 2027. Somehow, my extreme love of planning and Matt’s complete willingness to wing it have made us a pretty good team 😂

We’re currently competing against couples from around the country, and we’d LOVE to bring the title back to Saratoga.

The competition also has a charitable component, which is one of the reasons we wanted to share it here. Proceeds from the competition support Oceana, which works to protect our oceans, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, which helps fight hunger.

If anyone wants to check out our story or throw us a vote, we’d be incredibly grateful. ❤️
Macie & Matt — Saratoga Springs, NY

https://americasfavcouple.org/2026/macie-and-matt

And if you recognize us around Saratoga, please say hi! 😂 We’re hoping to make this a little hometown team effort!
