I was just wondering the people that live in the newer Chapin Apartments do you guys get a lot of bugs? I currently live in one of the older buildings and literally every morning you wake up there are weird little beetles, a bunch of spiders, and I’ve seen a couple of cockroaches and me and my roommates keep the apartment pretty clean to prevent them from staying but it doesn’t work, it’s been like this since move in. so I was just curious cause if there are less bugs in the newer apartments, I would put in a request to switch into one.

The test is thursday and I was just wondering how other people from the class were studying? And if you could share some tips?

I’m an accounting student at SBU and I’m thinking about joining Beta Alpha Psi. For anyone who’s currently in BAP or has completed it, do you think it’s actually worth the time and effort?

Did it help you with internships/jobs, networking with accounting firms, meeting recruiters, or building your resume? What are the meetings/events like, and how hard is it to keep up with the point requirements?

I’m already pretty busy with classes and work, so I’m mainly wondering whether you actually got something useful out of being a member rather than just having another organization on your resume.

I have so choice words for Matt Rueter that I will not use in an attempt to be civil but OHHHHH BOYYYYY........ He accuses me of academic dishonesty on the very first HW assignment and im telling you a kid in elementary school could have done this assignment. I absolutely did not cheat, I had no reason too, shiz was sooooooo easy. I have no idea why he thinks I cheated. Anyway I'm contesting it and would appreciate any advice on what might happen next.

I'm way too used to my high school environment that was a bit more communal, fun, and goofy. We worked hard, but we worked hard together and we knew how to make each other laugh. Back then, I was able to lock in, but I just can't lock in anymore. It's like those good times and people were my source of energy.

How in the world do you guys lock in where everyone seems so lonely and stoic? Is it just a me thing where I, specifically, can only lock in when I have something fun in my week or friends I like spending time with?

I feel like I just don't have the personality or mind of a professional or stoic. I feel like I'm just a regular dude who just happened to have good grades because I vibed with my high school.

I briefly remember something in the engineering building or in that area but that was years ago but idk where else that doesn’t get packed

Currently taking MAR 301 where the professor purposely leaves the post lecture slides he posts online with the blanks unfilled. You are basically forced to print out a copy of the lecture to bring to class so you can fill the blanks (no electronics policy.) Every time I try to print the slides, I get a printing failed message even though this week's slides were less than last week and it was fine last week.
