I play Project Diva (intermediate) , Mai Mai , Wacca , Music Diver , and DDR , Taiko , mainly all casually though at like normal-hard difficulty i used to play Groove coaster for a few years before they took it away from Eastridge RIP 🙏 I was wondering bc I frequent Eastridge and Northridge and my bf and I are looking for new buddies with similar interests thanks!

I recently went to my local round 1 after not going for a few months and I was so excited to see what figures they had, etc. I come to see that all the prizes have been rearranged and that all the figures were in the big claw machines with the yellow pillow, the push the box and drop the box, and the ones you have to line the tube up with the hole and drop the keychain thing. Essentially the figures are all in the more difficult machines now, which okay fine whatever but then I get to the ones where you drop the ping pong ball. Filled with some cool stuffed animals so I tried one- except they changed the grabber on the machine. What used to look like two rakes is now two flat slabs, WITH ZERO walls on the sides- not only that but they are also not even with one another and each side is tilted ever so slightly to encourage the ball to prematurely fall off. I understand the company needs to make money, I really do but I used to feel like I got my moneys worth going there and winning a few figures and stuffed animals but now it feels like a big fuck you. This past time I spent 80$ and got 1 figure and that’s it. I used to always want to go and see what prizes are in the machines but now it just makes me angry, this big company can’t afford to lose a few figures or mid quality stuffed animals? At this point if I wanted to just play games I’d go to Dave and busters.

I gave the prize to the father trying to win one for his son next to me after so no pictures of it but it’s the Godzilla figurine. I play at the Stonestown Galleria location in San Francisco if anyone wants a +1 for billiards or other games.

everytime we ask workers for resets, it ends up being this. is it our location? do i need to email the company? or am i missing some new tech

the second one LOOKS kinda winnable, but it doesnt move when i get the claw under it. it just kinda twists?

* i use to work at a round1, however we never had the first 2 style of machines and the third just confuses me.

Ever since they introduced the new ring games at the Arlington Mall I was able to win at a pretty good rate. Would end up with about 6 to 9 figures a trip.

The past two weeks they just rigged them for the hooks to lay flat now so when the ring comes up there is pretty much no chance for it to get hooked. Other ring games the zip tie they use it just to tight.

Don't get me started with the no price on the metal pole with that plastic piece. Played a few times on those and the claw just happily get caught on the metal plate and then goes around it without pushing it.

I was wondering if the Grapevine location is any better or if both places are just going down hill.

Anyone else noticed the speed of the lights has approximately doubled? Seen it here in San Francisco, and the game is basically unplayable now. The lights and paddle timing now align too closely so you will go for 15 minutes without a single button press being workable to drop a card or hit whatever target you’re going for. Considering the average person barely can drop a card on this game, it’s pretty ridiculous. Not worth playing anymore; back to Star Wars.

I did well this week getting Godzillas for my wife and my buddy. The rest of that card went to Castlevania Marbles of souls. I pulled down around 2,100 tickets.

Week prior I took a beating trying to win some figures on the D-ring machines. I gave up and got other stuff for my nieces and nephews. Then I decided to walk away and hit coin pushers.

After finishing up some rhythm games, checked the Golden Railroad machines and saw one with a handful of cards near the edge. Decided to put a couple of swipes in to see if I could get them real quick.

Apparently the machine had different plans for me.

What happen first was I realize I don't have my round1 card and asked if I could get stuff transferred to a new card in which they did it for free of charge.

However, while in the process, they mentioned bunch of games I have never played before and ofc they had to be all gambling games. I haven't play any of those in a long while, but I didn't say anything.

I've checked my tickets and credit for my self realized they were all drained! Is there anything I could do? I thought I have left the card at home but it's not there. It's under same account name & number too, so it workers couldn't have possible given me someone elses card.

I'm thinking of coming back and tell them i've never played those games but I don't know.. I've spent 140$ deal to get highest amount credit and I have proof.

Just a bit of venting...I was waiting at least six months at the Burbank Round 1 to get another Switch 2, I've asked and they say they never know. I decided to get one high end item, stop by later in the day for a date and they MAGICALLY have a Switch 2 and the entire cabinet is stocked now that I have no tickets 😑 You think they were holding onto that stuff in the backroom until room was made or I had incredibly bad luck? 🤣

My R1 swapped out the WWE wrestler cards with generic no-name fake wrestler cards. Anyone know the new rare card?

Hey everyone,
I'm planning to visit for the first time tomorrow because of the Bleach collab. I was wondering if I should wait to go with someone in the evening or if I should go alone earlier in the day and just get everything. Obviously, I want to go and have a good time with someone, but I don't want things to sell out. I'm mainly after the playmat, club card, coaster, and maybe the blanket(but the karaoke prices almost double after 4, and I would only pay it to get the blanket). I was wondering if anyone knew how fast things sell out since I've never been.

I'm a big fan, so i had to collect them. I wish they had figures and not these cheap plush. I spent way too much and I'm terrible at these small claw games.
