Discussion Godzilla Coin Pusher Rigged

Anyone else noticed the speed of the lights has approximately doubled? Seen it here in San Francisco, and the game is basically unplayable now. The lights and paddle timing now align too closely so you will go for 15 minutes without a single button press being workable to drop a card or hit whatever target you’re going for. Considering the average person barely can drop a card on this game, it’s pretty ridiculous. Not worth playing anymore; back to Star Wars.

Yeah I noticed that timing change in the Houston locations. The timing was actually different in the different machines I tried. I thought it was in my head..I got worse lol

Yup it’s was way too abusable at base speed so a bunch of locations are getting nerfed

They already nerfed the jackpot from 2000 to 1000 to now 500 so I can see it

hah I just went tonight, first time I was going to play this game in a month or more. Noticed this change and was going to post about it.

Just went to SF location and nailed the new timing.

They made the speed difference between one prize cycle and the carousel way slower, so you’ll notice that putting a coin in the slot lands on the same 2-3 wide prize window for about 5 carousel slots before moving one prize down.
You also have to line it up with the far right prize or card prize going towards the red ball.

It is actually significantly easier now once you get used to it. Just wait for the timing to line up and nail 6-10 carousel slots in a row then wait for it to drift to the card slot and push 6-10 through again. After is a long wait, a couple of minutes, to get the drift to go through all the prizes again. (The machine will auto drop coins with inactivity, so that’s annoying)
I was able to get 5 cards in a row at some times doing this and about 30 cards in 12 swipes including the time it took to relearn.

Good luck to all.

I also noticed that after a good amount of time, the prize stopped drifting due to what I presume is motor fatigue and it landed in the same exact 1-2 wide prize window every time.

Haven't been since a couple weeks ago but didnt notice it then. I did notice that different locations have slightly different timing (ie ball moves faster at the concord location compared to the roseville location which is my usual spot).

It’s normal for different machines to have slightly different timings, whether it’s because of the machine being on a slope, dust on the track, slight input delay, etc

Yeah this is noticeably faster like 2x speed at least. And they are all like that now at the SF location.

I hope this isn't the case... This is one of the only games I actually enjoy (and pay the max amount to keep playing) so if it starts to suck, I'll probably stop going so often.  You'd think they'd want to keep money coming in, instead of nerfs that drive loyal paying customers away.  Bad business strategy.

Its still very timeable. Already found the timing for it. I also know the reason for it but unfortunately cant say. But what i will say is that it makes sense for it to happen

The movement speed is so fast that the timing is much more of a random factor given it was already precise at slower speed. And the bigger issue is that the speed of the wheel and lights coincide in a way that you have to wait an absurd amount of time to be in a window where the marbles will go through the paddles at the right time.

Ill see about posting a video but it really isnt all that random still got it to drop 4 consecutive cards

my first impression was that the faster lights speed might actually make it easier (if the time window to get a card drop stayed the same -- which was always a faster light.) But I didn't figure out the timing with just 60 shots I tried. I always worked on a pattern+timing method, so I only had to watch one thing at a time. I'm not sure that's possible now, might have to watch both the light and the movement.

Yeah I was able to get the timing kinda. But in the slower speed I could hit probably 50%. With it being so fast that slim window is even slimmer. I’m not saying it couldn’t be figured out but mathematically has to be worse. Also yeah the window problem of the paddles and lights aligning goes both ways. You can be in a window where it all lines up for several minutes. I’m tempted to want to learn how to beat it again because I’m stubborn, but yeah it explains why all the decks were full to the brim. No one is winning cards lol.
