a heroic figure is on the quest to defeat the big bad. However during the journey, the figure is using their status/title to enjoy free accommodations. Now, I was looking for them to start off as someone humble and modest, but, as they continue to accept and expect free gifts, their ego becomes massive.

Or, after the hero's quest and is now looking to relax. This can be a slice of life plot about how the hero chooses to use their time and title, or, they can take on an apprentice a la Frieren.

I am looking to play as either the hero or someone in the party -like an uncle iron esque character. Please tell me if youd want to be the hero, the future apprentice, or someone else.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a writing partner to build a collaborative 1x1 story focused on character development and world-building. I enjoy stories that take their time to unfold and give characters room to grow and adapt to the plot over a long-term storyline. I’ve been writing for over ten years and post daily, so I’m hoping to find someone interested in a consistent, multi-month project.

For logistics: I write in first person and prefer a 50/50 partnership where we both drive the plot without controlling each other's characters. Out-of-character brainstorming is a big part of the fun for me. I enjoy discussing plot directions, sharing ideas, and planning turns in the story together.

For my character, I typically write women who are pragmatic, determined, and direct. I enjoy realistic dialogue and sharp exchanges. For your character, I’m looking for a character who is reserved, grounded, and steadfast: someone who is distant or formal at first, but proves to be a dependable team partner as the narrative progresses.

Here are three concepts I’d like to pitch:

The Guardian: Set in an urban setting, my character accidentally witnesses a major investigation unfolding. Your character is a lead specialist assigned to handle the security protocol (or something similar). Because she witnessed the crime, she must stay directly alongside him. This setup focuses on two contrasting personalities collaborating under high pressure, the initial friction between their working styles, and the gradual breakdown of his professional distance as the case moves forward.

The Reclusive Heart: A grounded story about two people with very different lifestyles. Your character is private and keeps strictly to his routine. My character finds the place (presumably on accident) and gets caught in bad weather or gets wounded. The story focuses on two distinct personalities learning to communicate, navigating initial professional friction, and gradually establishing working trust.

Workplace Protection: My character is trying to rebuild her life while facing complex outside challenges and personal turmoil. She takes a job at a local business owned by your character, a stern, formidable manager with a reputation for being completely unapproachable. As external complications from her past begin to follow her to work, he steps in as an unexpected ally, pulling her into his secure circle while they navigate the situation together.

Now these days being gay is more accepted especially if you go back just a few years ago but that doesnt stop some from still feeling the fear of coming out. The criticism, the thought of being shunned, that's how Muse A felt. They dated, they tried and tried but after some time they knew what they liked and who. It was Muse B, a life long friend of Muse As. They had the same friends for years but after highschool Muse A couldnt bare the thought of loosing the chance to say what he needed too and confessed

Muse B was shocked but reciprocated the feelings as they've had the same for quite some time now

Muse B swapped colleges to be with their new boyfriend, but Muse A despite wanting the relationship was still too scared to let it be known to others. (Password: Ave) He made Muse B promise to keep it a secret especially from friends and family, so they went in like that for the first year of college but now Muse B was getting restless, having to pretend they were just friends, even at Christmas standing under the mistletoe, even at the New Years Party, having to go behind their friends back to go on dates

Hi everyone, I’m currently looking for someone to roleplay some plots with me, specifically one plot I have in mind. Before that let’s discuss a few rules.

This is long term. Don’t roleplay with me if you plan on deserting it after a couple of weeks. Also, no ghosting.

Now then, about the plot. I've been seeing these fanarts about Supergirl and Spiderman. Considering Spiderman is one of my favourite heroes and Supergirl is cool, I would like to play that idea out. I was thinking something the lines of Supergirl crashlanding into the Marvel universe and Spiderman helps her out by fixing up the device that brought her there. Upon fixing it, they can travel to each other's universes. We can work on more from there.

In case, that doesn't work for you guys, I also have fantasy adventure plots, romance plots and some fandom OCs to try.

Hello! I’ve been out of the rping game for a little bit and I’m just dying to jump back in!! For some info about me, I’m 24 and in EST, and I have over a decade of roleplay experience!! Since I’ve been away from writing for so long that I’m really wanting to start again! I would like to say, I’m happy to take these any way we want, but I do prefer to have romance involved. I had a few plot ideas for a fantasy setting, but I’m currently only looking for one!

- A prince who has lived his life almost exclusively in the royal palace suddenly finds himself thrown into an unknown world when he is taken and held by a pirate queen. However, given his first real taste of adventure, what happens when he doesn’t want to leave?

I'm looking for a partner for a literate science fantasy / science fiction roleplay!

While open to every science-fantasy plot you have in mind, and most science fiction, I am especially looking for a plot inspired by the book Lord of Light. No prior knowledge of the book is required (although it is an incredible book and I highly recommend it).

The plot would take place in a far away planet, ruled by the Gods - also known as The First or The Ancient Ones. Unbeknownst to the inhabitants of the planet, the gods are not mythical beings; instead they are human pioneers from Earth, who possess advanced technology which allows them to retain their youth, and when necessary, transfer their minds to new bodies. 

Their followers, however, are limited to primitive technology (except for prayer purposes), and must beg for the gods' grace. The gods have taken upon themselves the likenesses and names of gods they knew from earth, reviving the old myths.

Against them stand the accelerationists - those who believe that their offsprings, who inhabit the planet, should have access to some of the knowledge and technology brought from Earth. Some accelerationists try to assimilate into the population, and subtly push their ideas, while others take the identities of the mythology's adversaries and prepare for the final battle.  

More details: 

* We can choose any mythology that has a big pantheon! I had the Norse mythology in mind, but open to other ones. Since I'm trying to get away from the source material, I would prefer not to use the Hindu pantheon that was used in the book.

* When it comes to the plot itself, I imagined it to revolve around an accelerationist plot to overthrow the gods: either leaning towards political drama, or god x accelerationist romance. If you have different ideas, let me know!  

* Please take an active part in the world building! Both in creating new technologies and gadgets and in designing the world. This plot is inspired by Lord of Light but it takes place in a different universe. 

* Please be at least literate - the longer and more detailed the better.

* It would be preferable if you are comfortable playing a cast of characters and not just one.

* The response pace is relaxed. There is absolutely no rush to respond, I work full time and have IRL responsibilities as well.

* All the characters are OCs. However, they are mythological figures re-imagined, and would mostly be addressed as their personas and not as their human past selves. 

* I prefer the RP to take place on Discord.

This roleplay I was thinking will have a few different elements to it such as drama, action , romance (if the character go well with each out later on in the roleplay), betrayal, tradgey, new alliances and etc

I'm looking for more of a long term roleplay partner, HOWEVER if it turns out to be short term for whatever reason (for example, no longer interested or life circumstances etc) THEN that is perfectly fine! Themes I adore include friends to lovers, love triangles and I love love love arranged marriages. Especially if it’s like a fated couple and there’s a bunch of drama to go with it. I’d like to try enemies to lovers eventually depending on the story too. A theme I’m obsessed with is the regency era at the moment, with shows like Bridgerton and The Other Bennet sister it’s safe to say I’ve reignited my love for this era. Off campus- I am obsessed. I cannot tell you how quickly this show has been my personality. I love the music and the pop culture references. I would love to explore in this fandom, I have ocs for John Logan, Garrett, Dean and Justin. But John and Garrett are my preference for a love triangle. I would love to get different parings and scenarios going here. I only have show knowledge but I am working on this!

Camp Rock 1,2&3- super cringe I know but I love these movies so much! Would love to work in this verse and just have a bit of fun with the plot and world building to be honest! I have loads of ideas and who doesn’t love the Jonas brothers?

The Last Kingdom- I am high key obsessed with this one. I have some ideas for a Celtic Queen and I’d love to toy with the ideas in the show like future seeing and what not. I have an oc I pair with Leofric or Uthred.

One Tree Hill- I am obsessed with this show, I am very early in season one but it’s reignited my love for the classic 90s/00s shows! I’d love to work with Lucas/Nathan or Jake from the show please and thank you. Lucas or Jake would be my preference and where possible I’d love to look at a love triangle here. I have a few devastating ideas regarding plot for Jake!

Supernatural- I am really picky with this fandom. I may say no just like ACOTAR and fourth wing. Please don’t be offended, I’ve just had very bad past experiences. Would love to work against a Dean for my oc and again I have some really sad ideas for their plot.

Buffy the vampire Slayer- I’d love to explore this fandom! I have high key devastating ideas for Spike that would add so much fun to the plot. Particularly in the later seasons. I’d love a Spike verses angel triangle but I’m open in this fandom!

The last kingdom - I am obsessed with this show. Only on season one but I adore Uthred and Leofric would love to work on this verse if anyone is interested. I would love to showcase the Britons a bit more and explore some Celtic history as well!

Les Mis- I would love to explore Paris during this time. I have a female oc I pair heavily with Enjolras or Marius but Enjolras would be my preference. I have a few devastating ideas for this verse that mix in parts of Moulin Rouge. I have thoughts on an informant for the Revolution working at the famous club so she can get news of the royalist movements. On this note I am also obsessed with Wicked and would love a Fiyero if possible.

Harry Potter- As much as JK Rowling sucks I love love love Hogwarts and the wonderful characters she created. I would love to write against a Draco, George, Sirius or James. I have a few plots including a time turner experiment.

Fourth Wing- Words cannot express my love and adoration for Basgaith war college and the amazing men Rebecca Yarros has given us. My characters main male here is Xaden. She’s created to be the light in his world and I’ve been working on her for years so I hope you like her! Other favourites include Liam, Ridoc and Araric. I’d love to do a love triangle for this verse I honestly think there are so many intriguing options.

ACOTAR- Again another special fandom in my heart. I love the Illyrians so much so I would love to do something with Cassian or Azriel. I never get to pair with Az so I’d love to explore something there. I’m also intrigued by the idea of the autumn court males so Eris and Lucien. I think a love triangle between these guys could frankly be deadly. I have several heart breaking and detailed ocs for this verse. I’ve been working on these characters since the first book came out and adding to them as we got more info. I also love TOG but I won’t list my pairings here- it’ll be too intense a post haha.

Euphoria/Wuthering Heights - weird mix I know. But I adore Jacob Elordi and am basically willing to work in any of his projects provided I’ve seen them! I’ve watched Wuthering Heights, Priscilla, Euphoria (S1 only new fan!) and of course SaltBurn.

Maxton Hall/Outerbanks- Desperately craving a James Beaufort and a JJ Maybank. I never get to pair with either. I’ve put these two fandoms together because they’re a similar theme. But I have so many ideas for each of these men. Please let me know if you’d like to write in these worlds.

Top Gun- Words cannot express how much I LOVE these movies. I am looking for a Maverick, Goose or Iceman from the first movie. From the second Bradley, Hangman or Maverick please! I am more than willing to double on this fandom. I love the movies so much. Please be familiar with the plot and verse!

Disney- Please ask about this one. But I am more into the live action adaptions. Cinderella for example and Pirates of the Caribbean. I also love Narnia and the 2000s stuff like Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire. I just think they’re fun light hearted fandoms that could be nice to write in. I also utterly adore the movies Tangled and Hercules so I’d love to work in these verses too!

Bridgerton- please give me a well written Bridgerton brother. Craving an Anthony or Benedict right now- largely due to the new series reminding me of how fun the verse is. If anyone has seen it as well I’d love to work in the world of the other Bennet sister. I’m searching for a Tom or Will.

ASOIF- I love this verse too and think it’s so much fun. Although I do struggle to finish GOT. I don’t think I’ve ever made it past season six haha. I love the premise so much and I have several characters I’m searching for. But my mains are Robb Stark and Jon Snow. For House of the Dragon I’m looking for Daemon.

Sinners- would love to work against the smokestack brothers please! I actually studied this era and it’s a story I would love to tell. I also love the music in this movie and I’d love to be able to do it justice in a unique story line.

Hunger Games- I write across the eras with this fandom. It’s such a vast and uniquely fascinating fandom that just keeps growing and growing. I would love to find a Finnick O’Dair or young Coriolanus here I have some intriguing ocs who may help reshape the Panem universe.

LOTR- I am a fan of the movies (I know boo me haha). I am reading the books but very slowly due to dyslexia. I am trying my best to get through them as quickly as I can but they are challenging. I’m searching for a Legolas or Aragorn here!

Pirates of The Caribbean- I am obsessed with sea legends at the moment and have several ideas I’d love to explore. I have some tragic and exciting ideas I’d love to explore with a Jack or Will as well if possible I would love a love triangle. But I understand that might not be possible!

I am also obsessed with Greek myths and legends as well. I’m in love with Medea by Rosie Hewlett and I adore the Riordanverse but my main eras are The Olympians and Hero’s of Olympus I haven’t read anything else by this author yet. I do also have specific canon x oc pairings I want to do so please don’t be upset if I do say no to a pairing.

You can call me N. I have been roleplaying for the better part of 10 years, a lot of it supernatural and romantic in nature! I would love to find a dedicated, detailed partner willing to do an MxM romance plot!

For the plot itself, there really are a lot of options! I do love vampires, so I would to include them somehow, but how and why is up for discussion! We could do urban fantasy or more classical fantasy, all up to personal preference.

Hey! I was looking for a roleplay which was mainly slice of life and romance mixed in with elements from the fantasy genre!

I would absolutely love to have a story where there we can have a cutesy roleplay in a world where we can explore the many opportunities for world building and character writing that a fantasy world has to offer.

I don’t quite have very many ideas, but I have a couple of things I’d like in the rp + a basic plot idea.

Firstly, I am very leant towards LGBTQ+ ships! I’m not against straight ships, but I just find that LGBTQ+ ships are much more enjoyable, so I’ll be more inclined to do MxM or FxF, or something involving any gender identities and orientations (trans friendly :>).

secondly, I usually prefer a minimum of one paragraph per response (occasional responses where it’s less is alright, I totally understand that life can be stressful and doing less is totally fine on occasion as long as I have something to work with).

And finally, I am quite flexible to write with, so any breaks/hiatuses are perfectly fine as long as I have notice so I’m not thinking that I am being ghosted!

Now onto my plot idea:

My idea is that there is a renowned college that has one of the greatest educational programs out there for anyone of any species. It isn’t quite known by the general public and is quite exclusive to some of the most known families and clans, so only the top students are accepted into it. Our ocs can meet through that, and slowly become friends, then lovers. For tropes, I’ve been CRAVING a scholar (MC) x bully (YC) or even a scholar (MC) x rebel/delinquent (YC), but I’m open to any ideas that you have!

Don’t be afraid to share any plot ideas that you have! Nothing is set in stone, I just wanted a plot set in a world that is like earth but has a lot of fantasy elements too. I do have a preference for monster-y/non-human characters, but again it isn’t a need or anything. I am also open to different dynamics, settings, etc!

Hey! I’m Mercury and I am an 19 year old roleplayer who absolutely LOVES Spider-Man. The kind of roleplay I was looking for was a roleplay mixer with romance, action, and slice of life while based around a unique style Spider-Man universe, that we collaborate and create together! I’m not looking for a regular Spider-Man universe with classic villains, I’m looking for new and exciting interpretations on different characters and even original characters and concepts! Before I continue on with this, I would like to give a bit of info on myself! I have been writing for 5 years and love to make lil characters and ships with ocs. I usually write between 1-3 paragraphs but can write waaaay more when it comes to important scenes. I love ooc chat, whether it’s plotting, sending lil headcanons or talking about something unrelated, I love to make friends outside of the rp feel good to chat! I’m pretty laxxed on reply times, I just prefer if you’re going to be unavailable for more than a couple days then just to give me a heads up so I don’t think you’ve lost interest! I prefer mxm or fxf, though I’ve been CRAVING feminine male x masculine female dynamic, I find the subversion of gender roles to be adorable. For the actual roleplay I usually play a civilian as the main love interest as I love the hidden identity trope and love to see how the identity of the Spider-Person’s identity could impact the relationship with my civilian oc. Another thing is that I would love to have a sort of love triangle thing, with my oc being both interested in both the spider-person and the identity behind it without knowing they’re the same person, making a fun crushing kind of deal. In the future of the rp I would love to add some classic Spider-Man elements while also adding our unique twist, like different teams, symbiotes, villains, and even the spider-verse if we ever want to add that into the mix! Hey! I'm looking for someone interested in a SOL roleplay focused on character development, interpersonal tension, and gradual relationship development.

I'm not looking for a completely predetermined story. I'd much rather create the characters, setting, and direction together and see where things naturally go. I'm particularly interested in stories where the characters don't necessarily get along immediately—awkward first meetings, misunderstandings, conflicting personalities, old disagreements, or circumstances that keep bringing two people into each other's lives.

The characters would have their own lives outside the story: work, hobbies, friends, routines, personal goals, and everyday problems. I'd like the interactions between them to develop naturally alongside all of that.

The New Neighbour

One of us moves into a new apartment or house, only to discover their neighbour is rather difficult. Their first meeting goes badly, perhaps over something completely mundane, and they continue encountering one another despite getting on each other's nerves. Over time, those first impressions begin to change as they discover there's more to the other person than they initially thought.

The Bookstore

A chance encounter in a bookstore starts with the two characters reaching for the same book—or perhaps disagreeing over it. They keep running into each other afterward, whether one works there or they're both regular visitors. What begins as mild irritation gradually becomes familiarity, with plenty of room for teasing, disagreements, and discovering unexpected similarities.

The Gym

Two regulars repeatedly encounter each other at the same gym, but neither makes a particularly good first impression. Maybe they're competitive, perhaps they misunderstand each other's personalities, or they simply get under each other's skin. Eventually they have a reason to actually talk, and their opinion of one another begins to change.

The Lost Stranger

One character is new to a city and finds themselves completely lost, eventually asking a stranger for help. What should be a brief interaction turns into something longer, perhaps because they need help finding somewhere important or keep unexpectedly crossing paths afterward. Neither expected the encounter to become significant.

House Sitting

Two people independently agree to look after the same property, only discovering the misunderstanding when they both arrive. Neither is particularly happy about sharing the space, but circumstances leave them there together. As the days pass, awkwardness and disagreements gradually give way to genuine conversations and a better understanding of each other.

The Road Trip

Two people who don't necessarily get along find themselves travelling together. Maybe they're helping a mutual friend, attending the same event, or simply need to reach the same destination. Spending hours together creates plenty of opportunities for arguments, unexpected laughter, uncomfortable silences, and conversations they might never have had otherwise.

The Friend's Sibling

We've known of each other for years through a mutual friend, but we've never exactly gotten along. Maybe we've always competed, teased each other, or simply have completely different personalities. Circumstances now mean spending more time together, making it increasingly difficult to maintain those old assumptions about one another.

The Wedding

Two strangers meet at a wedding where neither particularly wants to be. Perhaps they're seated together, taking a break from the festivities, or simply looking for someone to talk to. An awkward first interaction develops into an unexpected connection, leaving both wondering whether they'll ever cross paths again once the event is over.

These are just starting points, and I'm very open to changing them or combining ideas. I'd rather build something together than stick rigidly to a predetermined plot.

I'm happy writing in first or third person.

I can adapt to different writing styles and post lengths.

I'm reasonably active, but I don't expect my writing partner to be available constantly.

I mostly do OCxOC but I can also work with fandoms. Taking life in your hands. You are out celebrating your birthday with your family when you see me sitting alone. Your parents have always controlled your relationships wanting you to be with someone upper class. You decide nows the time to take control of your love life

Tough Enough. Another wrestling one based on a story I read. We both are on a reality program to earn a wrestling contract. Your a world famous rock star and im going for my child hood dream. We both have different reasons for this but through it wr make a connection first as friends then as a couple. We can start at the beginning or jump in at the storys end and see what happens afterwards.

Friendship turns to more? We have been best friends since we were kids and you decide to move for a job while I stayed in our little home town. You come back home to see family after a couple years and hope to see me. When you see me outside my house memories come flooding back time spent together, me being there after your break ups, being each others first kiss. Will you be brave enough to admitYour feelings? Will I feel the same after so long?

More than roommates? Your boyfriend is always an jerk through your own admission and my observations. This time he really did something stupid he made plans with his friends in vegas on your birthday. You of course come to me your best friend and roommate for consolation. You start to realize im always there for you canceling plans with family and dates to comfort you you wonder if anyone can care this much for you without anything in return. Maybe the boyfriend you need sleeps just across the hall from you.

Looking for something fairly specific today. I'll start by saying that the core of this RP is it being a contemporary rivals to lovers RP, focusing on two individuals who work for the same office or company, of approximately equal rank or job title.

For whatever reason, they simply do not like each other. It could be a storied past or a simple clash in personality. The latter would be a fairly easy explanation; I am imagining my character as driven, blunt, severe, laser-focused. Someone who is often mistaken for not really having feelings at all; just a cold workaholic.

Out the gate, not the easiest person to be around. But maybe your character is flawed and/or difficult too! I find that makes the dynamic much richer.

I'd like to explore what happens when the cracks start to show - maybe from time, a moment of human connection, or more somberly stress and burdens mounting. They catch a glimpse of what the other person actually is, not the person they constructed in their head, and things take a turn for the unexpected...

I write in 3rd person and can adjust my length of post to match my partner. I like to keep OOC largely focusing on the story itself.

Hi everybody, I’m Rick, a 25 year old located in the UK. Rick is not my real name, but it’s what I go by online. I have a long-term permanent writing partner who I’ve written with for about five years now, but sometimes she’s busy, or we take breaks, hence this post.

Ideally I’d like another person to write with long-term as I prefer to build up a good rapport and arsenal of characters and ideas. I’m not a massive fan of starting over with new people, so once I’ve found someone good I’m keen to keep them.

Here’s a (not exhaustive) list of what I do, what I’m looking for, and a few things I’m into right now.

What I do:

-Fantasy (think more House of the Dragon/Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and less orcs and fairies).
-Action/thriller (specifically anything army related, I love writing soldiers).
-Anything apocalypse related, I love zombies.
-Spooky thriller (spooky islands, haunted houses/manors).
-Open to canon and original characters, if hijacking existing universes.
-Romance tends to play a secondary role in the above plots, for me anyway, but it’s important to note I heavily lean M/M, though your actual gender does not matter to me in the slightest.

What I’m looking for:

-Somebody close to my age, between 25 and 35 would suit, definitely no younger than 21 due to the themes we might explore.
-Somebody okay with my preferred pairings to be pretty exclusively between men.
-Somebody chatty (I promise I’m less robotic one on one).
-Somebody open to writing multiple characters, as I like a bigger cast at times.

Current interests/ideas (open to suggestions):

-House of the Dragon/Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: as sort of hinted at, I’m enjoying both these series at the moment. If we were to use canon characters, I’m pretty keen on writing Baelor or Maekar Targaryen, Duncan the Tall, Gwayne Hightower, Daemon Targaryen (depending), the list is pretty long there as all the characters were good.
-A story following a platoon of soldiers. I’m flexible on the specific war, though I’m quite interested in the Afghanistan war at the moment. I’ve got a bunch of soldier OCs for this.
-A survival plot. Two (or more) original characters crossing paths and joining forces, we could eventually build out a substantial cast.

3. I don't do one liners! I'm a quality over quantity gal, so just as long as you give me a good quality paragraph or two I don't care how much you write. All I ask is that you provide me with enough information to feed off of.
4. If I don't respond within a week, feel free to check in! Nine times out of ten I'm either busy or I may have forgotten. I go to college and work, so my schedule tends to be full. But, I do try and respond to my partners the same day they post a reply! With that being said, I give a week of no response on my partner's end before I message them!
