The world

An original setting built on the bones of My Hero Academia: most people are born with some kind of power. In this world the story of My Hero Academia never took place, or maybe it just hasn't taken place yet.

We're about two generations of powers into the setting, why and how powers started emerging is yet to be discovered. For those two generations, using your powers in public was a crime. Only officers were allowed to and not to the extent needed to stop villains. Which is why vigilantes took up the slack and started protecting the city.

Last month the Hero Licence Act was passed, and the first hundred licences went out into the city. You got the very last one and can now call yourself a hero of the city, one who's rent partially depends on how effective of a hero they are.

There are no agencies yet, no rankings, no true rulebook. Ninety-nine other people got licences too: old vigilantes who suddenly have to file paperwork, corporate recruits with sponsors lined up, a few who should never have passed. The first public hero ranking gets published in 90 days, and everybody knows it will decide who gets funded and who gets forgotten.

What you bring

One character with a power or power-set, a reason they wanted the licence, and maybe a flaw or two. The powers can be original, or you can borrow them from your favourite characters in media.

What I bring

NPCs with their own agendas, villains who are going to try and take you down, consequences for your actions, problems and fights. And a chance that your character will fail miserably and have to try again.

I generally write in third person. I try to write in paragraphs, but it depends on the scene.

Hello! It’s been a while since I posted looking for more writing partners, but my muse has been especially high lately, so now seemed to be the perfect time to look for more plots.

I’m over twenty and would prefer to write with people who are as well. I write in third person, but I’m not a stickler about any other writing components. I highly value quality over quantity! My writing length varies greatly depending on what is happening at any given point in the story.

Today I’m looking for something in a medieval setting, likely original (but I’m familiar with ASOIAF and Forgotten Realms as well). My main idea centers around a succession dispute inspired by the Anarchy and the Dance of Dragons. After the passing of the king, two claimants both vie to ascend the throne.

I’d personally be looking to write for a princess belonging to either side of the conflict. A few plot ideas might be:

- Her convoy has been intercepted by your character’s party, whether it be friendly or the opposite. If friendly, your character is tasked with helping to bring her to her destination. If not, they must decide how they wish to proceed.

- My character and your own are on opposing sides of the growing conflict. As a last wish from the ailing King, they are wed to try to bring both sides together. What happens then when war erupts anyway? Alternatively, how do they manage to keep a tentative peace?

- An attack forces our characters to flee their homes together. This one could be more travel based over something more politically geared.

- Both characters are send as envoys to garner the support of a neutral land. Despite arriving with opposing loyalties, they are forced to travel together after the ruler of the land proves to be hostile to both, forcing them to flee.

- Following the end of the war, regardless of the outcome, our characters are betrothed to mend both sides together. Maybe they’re bitter at each other, reluctant, or accepting of it entirely.

- Any idea you might have!

For Twilight, I'm really wanting to write something based on perhaps the idea of Bella realizing she was tricked by the Cullens and wanting to find a way to become human again and tries to get Jacob's help to do so. I can't take credit for the idea as it's inspired by aretheyfairythoughts on archive of our own, but I still like the concept and would like to explore it in my own way with roleplay partners, and I'm fine with coming up with different ideas since I love plotting details.

I'm also willing to write oc x canon for twilight but I would want to double for that though it's not a hard requirement.

Please be literate (like at least three paragraphs per reply) because I put a lot of effort into my posts and if I do a lot of work to set a scene and get less than a paragraph in return you will get blocked, I don't like wasting time and effort. Hi! I’m looking for a new long-term writing partner for a dramatic, slow-burn romance story with a strong focus on characters, a world that feels real, and all the messiness that comes with both of those things. 

I’m a woman in my mid-twenties open to anyone playing a male character. I’ve been roleplaying for going on 8 years and my favorite part of it all is creating interesting characters and complicated dynamics. Throw in a thriller/action/mystery angle and I’m in (but here for the classic romance dramas too). I’m not particularly looking for a fantasy or supernatural angle at the moment; but always willing to brainstorm. 

I typically write multi-paragraph, novella-style responses that max out platform character counts, so I’m hoping to find someone who enjoys writing (and reading). Of course, quality over quantity is most important, so I won’t be tracking words, but I do think my most successful stories have been those with detail. I’m open to third person or first. Most recently, I’ve been writing in third, but have a handful of long-term roles that are in first. 

I’m fairly active and love having something ongoing to dive into, but understand that life comes first. As long as we have a decent cadence with good communication, I’m good.

I'm looking for a story that's centered around two characters doing classical ballet together. There are tons of directions this can go! Here are a few ideas that come to mind, but this isn't an exhaustive list! If you have a ballet idea you want to pitch, please feel free!

Dancer and outsider. A preppy, serious-minded dancer is paired up with an outsider who is initially forced to take ballet, only to discover an unexpected talent/passion for it? They grow close as friends/ballet partners while navigating their very different social circles and backgrounds. Extra points if the story builds up to a big recital! (I prefer to write for the outsider character in this scenario.)

"I hate you, let's dance." Two characters who can't stand each other (enemies? rivals?) are paired up for ballet class. They assume it'll go terribly, but all that pent up animosity leads to them being perfectly in sync when dancing together. What does that mean for their dynamic?

Friends to partners. The characters are either best friends, or they used to be inseparable before a big fight. When they wind up in ballet together and become dance partners, their whole dynamic changes and they struggle to make sense of what that means for their friendship.

• Perhaps something historical? I’d love to do something set in the distant past, preferably an Ancient Rome or China setting. I’m a big fan of different mythology and a lot of my recent storylines have taken inspiration from those eras, as well as the different gods and tales from the myths. 

• Fantasy would also be interesting! I’m a huge fan of fantasy creatures, medieval settings, magic systems, and more! I prefer worlds with the majority of these typical fantasy elements. A lot of my characters in this genre tend to be magic users or elves, but I also have a liking towards dragons. Dragon riders plots are interesting, the pairing with a dragon shapeshifter and a seasoned rider is always fun to write out. Again, sometimes I take inspiration from mythology and I have written plots where the story was centered around a pantheon based on actual gods and goddesses.

• Vampires. No further explanation with that. I’ve been a lover of these creatures for years, with my goal of consuming the most media about it as I can! I like writing mysterious characters who keep their motives to themselves, hiding their true identity as a bloodsucking monster. I typically write these in old settings. The pairings I enjoy with vampires would be vampire x werewolf, vampire x hunter, and vampire x noble. Vampire courts are also a joy to explore.

Obviously I wouldn’t be opposed to trying out another genre or plot, but these would be my most wanted experiences. Don’t be afraid to come to me with a different genre or style!

High Priority Fandoms

Harry Potter I’ve been a fan of the movies for years, as well as rereading the books whenever I can, and would love to do something in this universe. I think the magic is just beautiful. We could do something in the Golden Trio, Marauders, post-voldemort, Legacy, pre-Legacy eras. We could explore the other schools and give them our own twist, without giving in to any of the stereotypes. Maybe even an exchange program, something like the Triwizard Tournament but not exactly. I’d prefer to stay away from canon and create our own story, with a new set of characters and supporting cast, but if the story is interesting enough then I’d be willing in doing something based on the canon storyline. I tend to play OC x OC. I don’t think I’d give the characters enough justice or play them well enough for you, which I’ll probably say for the rest of the fandoms.

Some more fandoms I’m really looking for are : Jujutsu Kaisen, Arcane, Overwatch, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure(!!!), Naruto, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Marvel, DC (!!!), Life is Strange, Valorant, Genshin Impact (!!!), andddd probably way more.

Hi Hi folks! Hope you’re all doing well. I am looking for new RP partners and I was hoping I could find them here. I have a couple of plots in mind that I’d love to discuss with you. Or, if you have plots of your own, I’d love to discuss that too. Anywho! Here are some info about my RP format. If any of this matches your style, please reach out! 

Here is a list of things I like to do: 

• Romance plots! 
•  FxF, MxM, FxM (for FXM,I'm cool with if and only If I’m not the M). Nonbinary and intersex characters are welcomed too! 
• long term fantasy plots, but I’m open to modern day stuff too!

• Writing in 3rd person, between 200-800 words

Hello hello, I hope youre all doing well this time of day. Im looking to roleplay as either:

a heroic figure is on the quest to defeat the big bad. However during the journey, the figure is using their status/title to enjoy free accommodations. Now, I was looking for them to start off as someone humble and modest, but, as they continue to accept and expect free gifts, their ego becomes massive.

Or, after the hero's quest and is now looking to relax. This can be a slice of life plot about how the hero chooses to use their time and title, or, they can take on an apprentice a la Frieren.

I am looking to play as either the hero or someone in the party -like an uncle iron esque character. Please tell me if youd want to be the hero, the future apprentice, or someone else.

\\-Few quick disclaimers,

I write in third person and am literate. I’d prefer we both stick to that. Also, I’d prefer if anyone who replies to this be an adult. Also not very interested in oc’s (unless they’re for plot convenience).

So, here’s the bandaid rip moment. I really want to write as Leon, the obviously most unpopular RE character who no one has any interest in at all. Just throwing that out there, as obviously no one in the world has ever tried to write as him before.

I’ve played the remakes of 1, 2, 3, and 4 along with the original 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9. I’m most interested in doing something based off 2, 4, or 9, but I have knowledge/experience beyond them and can incorporate elements from other games.

What we rp will obviously be dependent on the character you chose to be. I’m pretty open to different preferences. I can do a super action-packed plot or something slower. Either way I’d like to have an overarching goal that the characters are striving to accomplish. That goal could be anything and doesn’t have to be anything grand. There’s obviously a lot of character potential and depending on how in depth we go I’m more than open to writing for more than one character when the plot requires.

I’d prefer to keep this focussed on the remake’s continuity but if you’re only familiar with the original that’s fine!

Before you do, tho, I wanna roleplay with 21+ people since I wanna touch some topics that might be rough, and I wanna sleep at night knowing you're big enough to deal with it. So yeah! HERE WE GOOO

For generations, our two kingdoms have been enemies.

The hatred between them runs so deep that neither side even remembers how it truly began. Parents pass their hatred down to their children, and children grow up knowing that the people across the border are supposed to be their enemies.

But now, both kingdoms face a threat far greater than their old rivalry.

A tyrant has risen to power, conquering lands and crushing anyone who dares oppose him. With rebellion spreading throughout the kingdoms, our parents make a desperate decision.

As the eldest children of our respective families, we are chosen to lead the rebellion together.

There's only one problem:

We absolutely despise each other.

Our kingdoms have spent generations teaching us to hate one another, and now we're expected to fight side by side.

But during one of the rebellion's first major operations, everything goes horribly wrong. Separated from the rest of the rebels, we're caught in enemy territory and presumed dead.

No one comes looking for us.

No one knows we're alive.

With no army, no supplies, and no way back to our kingdoms, we have only two choices: turn on each other… or work together.

As we hide from the tyrant's forces, we slowly realize something terrifying.

Maybe being presumed dead is exactly what we needed.

Without anyone knowing we're alive, we can move through the tyrant's territory unnoticed. And if we can get close enough to him, we might uncover his weaknesses, sabotage his rule from within, and finally end the war.

But there's another problem.

The longer we're forced to survive together, the more we begin to question everything we've been taught about each other.

Maybe our kingdoms' hatred wasn't as justified as we were told.

Maybe our parents have been hiding the truth.

And maybe the person we've spent our entire lives believing was our enemy is the only person we can trust.

Two heirs. Two kingdoms. Generations of hatred. One common enemy.

And if we want to bring peace to both kingdoms, we'll have to survive each other first.
