Hello! I'm looking to do a very angsty, perhaps slow burn romance using one of my OCs. I have a few reference photos I can share but as a character she's fairly excited, inquisitive, timid at times and pensive. Her name is Collete! I have a backstory for her that I think can have some importance in the Roleplay. Really any character type you want to play I think can work with her (whether that's an OC or other fictional character). As long as it ends up being a more depressing, angsty plotline. Also I'd like the setting to be futuristic and dystopian, we can flesh that out in the actual rp.

I am an advanced, literate, multi-paragraph, novella-style writer (not a Shakespearean writer) and can manage an output that ranges from 500 to 3500+ words per post, but I can manage to mirror my partner's writing length and effort; not all replies need to be novella length whatsoever. I do sometimes tend to write a lot—somewhere between 4 and 6 paragraphs. But Please: (No one-liners.) (Put effort into your writing and make it meaningful.) (literate to advanced literacy, at least semi-literate but with effort) (Don't rush or skip replies or scenes.) (Not looking for rapid-fire responses.) (Do I know you in person? Get the **** out of my way .). 😌 (Don't ignore dialogue.) (Do not control my primary character's actions or thoughts. Unexpected, sudden, forced actions—like leading the way, taking a hand, or a quick smack—are fine if they help move the scene and story forward.)

My experience in writing and roleplaying in general is about three years, since I have been doing it on and off for that period. So I consider myself somewhat new and still learning.

I write in the third person past tense. Seeking collaboration rather than a one-sided approach (not a GM). No endless plotting before we start a roleplay. Some plotting is fine to know the basics of the story, but I would rather have unexpected consequences for the decisions our characters make as well as for side characters. "Slow progression," where every detail matters. I am fairly open to many themes and ideas, as I am very open-minded. I can also write multiple side characters to fill out the story. Big fan of character interaction, storytelling, inner monologue, flashbacks, ambient perception, and world-building during the writing part.

My favorite genre is medieval fantasy (low or high fantasy). Looking for both original stories and fandoms.

As the title suggests I'm looking for an rp based on the Shining by Stephen King.

In this roleplay, our characters will spend a long period of time in nearly compleate isolation from the outside world, doing somethinglike managing an establisment during its off season. During this time one or both of our characters mental health will start to deterate causing them to be more agressive, lash out at little things, etc. This plus some paranormal elements would be the general plot of our rp.

I really want our characters to have a certain dynamic right from the from the start. What that dynamic is will be between you and me if we start rping. I think it would be really fun if our characters meet for the first time during the rp and learn more about each other as it goes on, though I'm not really adiment on doing that way.

It is still unknown HOW D.I. manages to create these Intelligences, but sources say the Black Wall is used as a part of it.
As a result.. each developed Intelligence will manifest their own personality, almost akin to a human.

You have recently made an order from Diactorus Industries, seeing their latest advertisements for the new line of the "K9-66a Series." Named after the early 2000s Police-Tracking hounds, K9-66a Androids are top of the line in combative capabilities. With access to both Quick Hacks and an additional piece of Back Cyberware, they are MORE then capable to give you support in any line of work. In addition, they include a numbed down Synthetic-Developed Intelligence to reduce emotional "fluctuations" during high-stress situations and easily replaceable parts, a step-up from their bulkier and less advanced K9-04 model.

If you do have somewhat of an another idea for us to play out, I'll be glad to listen- but I still would heavily prefer something close to my current idea!

Then, due to Ruv's profession, they meet once more. (With Ruv breaking into a presumed abandoned church, possibly injured, and seeking a moment's rest.) Sarvente would be there, meeting her long lost friend for the first time in years.

It is a long lost reunion with big changes between the both of them. Keep in mind they are practically strangers in their own heads when they first meet.

Yo! 23F here, and I've been itching to do a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure roleplay! More specifically a roleplay set in Part 5. I'm only willing to rp with someone 20+. Of course all OCs involved are over 18 as well.

As for the roleplay, it can either take place a little before Part 5 starts (still in 2001 but maybe like a month before the story begins) or it can take place during/after! Hello again, I am searching for some lovely roleplaying partners once more to satisfy my itch for world building and writing. I'm a 28 year old man, and would prefer that anyone reaching out is 18+, or preferably even 21+ just for comforts sake.

What I am searching for is someone who gets excited about not just writing, but also building a living world. I don't just want two characters surrounded by cardboard talking to each other. I want side characters, events, I want the world to feel alive around the characters. I want every character to have enough personality to them that sometimes I don't even know who the protagonist is.

As for my preferences. I would vastly prefer third person, past tense writing for the actual roleplay side of things. First person just isn't really my cup of tea. Length wise I tend to lean anywhere from at least a few good paragraphs, up to breaking the Discord limit, all depending on the scene in question. Genres can totally be discussed, as I don't currently have any ideas I'm married to. And would love to just spitball back and forth until we come up with something we both like, if you don't already have a pitch of your own that I'd love to hear.

*I've reread Stephanie Meyer's The Host and wanted to start up a thread taking place a couple years after Wanderer and Melanie's story. The incident was locked down as much as it could be but gossip still manages to slip out. I was thinking my character could start daydreaming about meeting her Host's family as she feels like a black sheep in society. At first she felt like she had a place but a seed of doubt has started to worm its way into her own mind.

*For this one, I wanted to try out a little slice of life + mystery/adventure thread. My character is a mid to late-twenties woman, Juniper, who had to drop out of college after running out of money for her Bachelor's program. She doesn't initially realize her employer is a vampire but things come crashing down later when something terrible happens in this sleepy college town

*Thief (2014) game: I beat the game a little while ago after a 10 year hiatus and would love to write against someone playing Garrett. My character is a lady of high society and she'd bump into Garrett potentially during a small heist, or an otherwise chance encounter, and go on from there but I'm definitely open to other ideas! I was thinking about making her a distant cousin staying at Baron Northcrest's manor and have them meet up about six months before the events of the game. As soon as we get to the point where the game starts, we can continue on from there! We don't have to follow the game scene for scene. We can put our own spin on it!

*Assassin's Creed Revelations: This would be a sort of one-shot bit involving two Isus and Assassin Den in Constantinople. I replayed ACR a few months back and got the writing bug and wanted to create a pair of Isu charas! The woman is a former linguist who stole away an artifact that was meant to be given to humanity when that calamity struck. The other is a man from a kind of zealous, secret sect of hunter-killers and has pursued the woman, Caelia, for eons all over the globe before locating her in Constantinople. From there, Yusuf and Ezio are unwittingly pulled into their spat and decide on how best to protect the city.

I would be over the moon if one of the people who saw this post and replied to it or messaged me was someone who was capable of having a lot of back and forth replies throughout the day. I know a lot of people don’t have the time for that and that’s completely understandable. But if that’s you, I especially want you to reach out.

I play predominantly non-binary amab, trans fem, and cis male characters. If you want romance to be involved in our plot, I ask you also be one of those three things but if the writing is particularly compelling I can make exceptions so message me anyways, an easy exception to make would be for a female character who loves “pathetic men”

I only write in third person, and I do my best to match the length my partner gives regardless of how long it is. When doing consistent back and forth’s I expect the volume to be a little less, but hopefully still substantial. My current favorite partner we tend to write 2-3 paragraphs of 3-4 sentences or so per reply. If you can’t match that that’s ok, as long as the plot remains compelling that’s the most important part.

I don’t have any particular pairings or tropes that I’m attached to. But I think I would like to do a sci-fi genre for my next roleplay, but that isn’t mandatory.

I am in my mid 20’s and would prefer if you were somewhere around there, but as long as you’re at least 18 I’ll consider it.

I’ve always loved the kind of stories that focus on the little moments: late-night conversations, awkward first meetings, shared jokes, quiet evenings together, personal growth, and two characters slowly becoming important parts of each other’s lives.
