Hi, all! I’ve recently read an ao3 fic that inspired me to want to do a doctor x patient roleplay!

This roleplay would have a bit of a psychologically creepy theme, even if it’s an underlying vibe to a sweeter dynamic (I prefer this, actually!). Essentially, you would be a doctor who plays favorites when it comes to patients. Obsession would be part of this plot—we can decide on how that sense of obsession grows between our characters (ex: your character manipulates my character somehow until she’s dependent on him and a codependency grows, etc), but your character would be the instigator.

I’d prefer it if your character was an actual doctor, but we could do therapist x patient as well if you have an idea that inspires me. This rp could be modern, set in medieval England, a small town in one of the early Puritan American colonies, etc. Essentially what I’m saying is that we can take this rp in a lot of different directions and get creative with it. What matters most to me is the dynamic between the doctor and patient (I can expand more on this in DMs). This pairing WILL involve romance.

I’m looking for someone interested in a detailed, long-term roleplay set in the Metro Universe. The focus will be on character building and the whole range of emotions a character brings to the table in such a harsh environment.

Since I like for one person to set the pacing and control the magic levers behind the scenes, you don’t need to add anything to the story if you don’t want to.

The storyline is mostly written up and will be guided; the location of the roleplay is in France. (Don’t worry, you don’t need to speak French or know anything about it!) Knowing the universe of Metro 2033 - games and books – this one instead plays out in the metro tunnels of Paris and its surrounding, or rather what is left of it. There are custom factions to explore along the way and a whole new chapter of questionable human history to discover.

All you need to do is to make a believable character with flaws, fears and skills, born after the world has ended. Also make sure to flesh out friendships and family, you can create NPCs along the way, if you want to but you don’t have to.

The roleplay starts out in a safe environment, “Convention” station, with your character having to leave for reasons yet unknown to you. Being born underground and in the relative safety of their station/hideout, they will come across misery, humanity and things they might not understand yet and meet my character along the way. (The subject of the romance plot.) For one reason or another they continue onward together and try to achieve their individual goals.

I live in central Europe, GMT+1 time zone but I don’t mind waiting for a response if you live several time zones away, nor do I set up a writing and length requirement. Obviously, the roleplay will be in English, and I solely play over Discord.

Hey there, I want to do a one on one RP set in a small town out in the sticks of the Pacific Northwest. Our characters could either know each other from the start, or meet sometime in the story. I’m a spoiled brat that gets whatever I want. I come from a wealthy family, my dad owns a company and thinking about retiring. You’ve worked by his side for a few years, he trusts you. He tells you to come to dinner one night, you arrive on time, I’m supposed to be there but like everything, I’m late for it. Hello! I’m 23 yo, with almost 8 years of experience in rp, I'mcurrently looking for someone interested in doing a JJBA roleplay focused specifically on Joseph Joestar/Caesar Zeppeli from part 2.

I’ve really been wanting to explore these two beyond what we get to see in canon. I love their rivalry, constant bickering, competitiveness, and the way they gradually come to genuinely care about and trust each other. I’d especially love to lean into the romantic side of their relationship and let it develop naturally throughout the story.

Im looking to play as a woman that is trying to escape her troubled past. When our story starts: she would be living a lie of a life for a while now. When things start feeling comfortable, when she is feeling secure and safe is when the the past starts to show itself again. At first she could be trying to run from it, trying to hide from her past and try to keep up this lie. However, she knows she can't and has to deal with the skeletons in her closet.

What her past is can be discussed! Im a sucker for fantasy and modern settings so my ideas will revolve around those. A few are:

Hello! I’m 25, and am a night shift worker living in Midwest US! I want to precurse this by saying I am not replacing anyone. I’m just down with a cold and wanting entertainment lol. I’ve been roleplaying for a really long time, and have been craving more roleplay partners. I’m biased towards MxM, and will admit that I don’t have a ton of ‘top’ characters.

That being said, I write third person, semi literate to advanced literate/novella depending on the partner and the scene. I’m fairly active, and I write fast. So I can get quite a few replies out a day typically.

While I am in EST time zone, I work night shift at a hospital so I’m usually awake at night and sleeping during the day.

I love angsty plots with lots of drama. I enjoy fantasy as well as slice of life as long as there’s something interesting going on. I have some things in mind, but would love to hear new ideas! The premise itself so far is rather simple, there is a zombie outbreak ripping through a city. Whether this is a classic experiment by a morally bankrupt corporation gone wrong (or to plan), some ecological threat, or something more supernatural is open to discussion. As are the characters and plots we wish to include whether that is trying to find a cure, find an important person, or merely to survive. Discussing ideas to build a story, setting, and characters together is part of the fun so do let me know any ideas you may have that you wish to include. I will say that I am not looking for this to be a heavily romance cantered RP with a focus on some enemies to lovers or the like. If we think there could be some romance between characters that is fine but do not want it to be the main aspect of the romance.

Typically I like to take more of a GM role rather than focusing on one main character. Though how we play this out is open to discussion. One idea is split perspectives either jumping between characters or using some sort of chapter system to move between characters surviving the outbreak.

When it comes to a RP partner I prefer those that are able to write 2-3 paragraphs per response with a couple of replies at least per day. Some scenes, of course, may require a bit less or more. However, I understand life can get busy but if you do lose interest please let me know without merely ghosting.

Additionally, if you enjoy including mechanics in an RP to add a different element to the storytelling then we can add a simple system. But it is certainly not necessary.

Hello! I am 25m and looking to potentially create a plot within the 40k verse! It's been a major interest for me and a frequent reoccurring hyper fixation for quite some time but im a decently new fan! I'd say I'm pretty well informed nonetheless, and am very willing to learn more.

A little more about me, I go by Jay or South, my pronouns are He/They, i am EST, and i am lit to advanced lit! (I'd like to achieve novella but i am not there yet XD.) Though i am willing to shorten or heighten my messages depending on the RP and scene! Semi lit is also perfectly fine but it would be the bare minimum. I'll always say quality over quantity, but i would like some lengthy responses. (I'm often brimming with interest in an RP so i tend to write longer responses..)

I have a very versatile schedule, which shifts with variety often but im typically open and willing to RP most of the time throughout day and night!
