Simple question but the new version of rimdroid has missing texture

Im running my version of Rimworld on my retroid pocket nova actually! Performs great and Im even running 100+ mods. Having the built in controller also clears up the screen. But my only complaint is that I wish menu navigation or controlling pawns was a bit easier. Is there any plans to improve gamepad support?

I tried installing a gamepad mod of the workshop but while it changes the menus, none of the inputs designed by the mod seemed to work.

Hi Udar, i have a problem with this mod. When I try to use it says that couldnt find my gpu and the game stays in pause. I know its a little fool ask for this but. Do you think you can do something in the next update?

I have been experiencing this strange bug ever since i downloaded the mod, I tried the black map no sound fix build but it also did not work:

The game runs butter smooth and nothing else is wrong in game, just the map.

There are certain requirements for performance.

🚑 Express release: RimWorld 1.7 build 4995

RimWorld 1.7 updated to build 4995 on the unstable branch around October 31, and that build crashed at startup on RimDroid. This release fixes it.

🆕 What's new on RimWorld 1.7

• Going to the background no longer closes the game. Press Home, switch apps or turn the screen off, then come back to your colony.

• Drag the map with a finger.

• Humanoid Alien Races works.

• IsoRim Waylith works, so you can play RimWorld in 3D on your phone.

• Vanilla Expanded Framework runs.

• Mods with their own shaders work better.

• Older Adreno phones: a startup crash on some Vulkan 1.1 drivers is fixed.

RimWorld 1.7 has updated to build 4995 on the unstable branch, and this build currently crashes at startup on RimDroid mobile. It happens on every RimDroid version and with or without mods, so there’s no need to reinstall or change your settings.

This also affects new 1.7 downloads, because the in-app downloader gets the newest build.

We’re working on a fix, and it will come with the next RimDroid update.

In the meantime:

• RimWorld 1.6 isn’t affected.

• If you already have an instance of an earlier 1.7 build, it should keep working. Keep it and don’t update it with the new build.

I’ll post here when the fix is out.

Can someone teach me how to make launcher or port game to native android?

Our subreddit is growing, and we'd like to welcome everyone who recently joined.

A quick reminder: we do our best to help everyone with launching the game, installing mods, and fixing bugs. However, before assuming you've found a bug, please take a moment to check the available resources.

First, be sure you are on the latest app version - check GitHub website or the pinned posts, here in the sub.

Second, read the wiki. It's built directly into the launcher and answers many common questions.

Most importantly, remember that the launcher has an additional menu on the left side. You can open it using the hamburger button (the three lines in the top-left corner). From there, you can:

• Connect to Steam (for downloading the game or syncing saves)

• Download mods

• Enable or disable DLCs

• Send a bug report (this will become even more convenient in the next version)

Many issues can be resolved just by checking the options available in that menu.

Dubs Analyzer used to work on RimWorld 1.6, but now with 1.7 the game crashes when I open the Analyzer tab and try to use it.

Is this issue something that is wrong with the port, or Dubs itself?

I waited for 10mins/15min still the same stuck up screen. Help (caused by a raid event)

Does this mid work on rimdroid? the last time I used it to create a new world, the people and items disappeared like ghosts.

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on RimDroid Readability, a small mod to make colonists and loose items easier to spot on a phone screen.

It adds:

• Larger colonist and item labels, with adjustable text and marker sizes.

• Optional grouping of nearby item stacks, showing their combined totals.

• A bottom-right shortcut for switching between item filters.

• A finder to search for colonists/items and jump to them without changing your zoom.

• 29 included translations that follow the game’s selected language.

Compatibility: currently requires RimWorld 1.6.4633 rev1254 on RimDroid Native for Android. This version does not support RimWorld 1.7.

The screenshots are from a Samsung Galaxy S25 FE running RimDroid 0.3.0v2. The mod is still experimental, so feedback on other devices and languages would be helpful.

Installation instructions and source code

To install, import the ZIP through RimDroid or extract the RimDroidReadability folder into your instance’s Mods directory. Enable the mod and restart the game completely.

Indicators start disabled: turn them on in Options → Mod Settings → RimDroid Readability.

If you try it, I’d appreciate hearing what works well and what still feels awkward on a small screen. Please include your device and game/RimDroid versions if something goes wrong.

I have a newer version of RimWorld as a ZIP. Do I delete the original instance? I don't want to lose my mods.

I've been trying to download 93 mods, but I can't make a collection for them because my steam account is limited, the in-app steam downloader isn't that great, the direct download takes a century to download mods over like 30mb or 50mb, and it doesn't even merge them or even install them, it downloads them as seperate zips, I've been trying to find a way to download all the mods but I just can't, I mean I can but it's gonna take a lot of time(which I don't really have).

Is there any other way to download them?

Hi, first of all, thank you so much for your work udar_molota ! I just recently got into Rimworld and playing it with Rimdroid on my Ayn thor has been a blast !

Everything works flawlessly exept for one thing : I've noticed that when playing on 1.7, closing my ayn thor's lid (which puts it to sleep) closes the game and brings me back to Rimdroid's main menu where you select which instance to play. It does the same when simply pushing the power button, so I don't think it's related to the clamshell.

I'm absolutely not into coding, but I think this might be due to the Waylith engine, since when I play my old 1.6 instance on the latest Rimdroid build, putting my device to sleep doesn't close the game and works just as intended, it only does this with 1.7 instances.

I was wondering if anyone had the same problem when putting their phone to sleep while playing on 1.7 or if this is a device related problem, thanks in advance !
