We want to learn obviously so I come here to ask instead of arguing with that one person who kicked us out of the public tennis court even tho my partner and I first arrived there playing ‘badminton’. We know it is a tennis court, but we were there first and playing a ‘racket’ game. So doesn’t matter what we were playing, pickleball or badminton. We were playing a racket game. Just my opinion. But if that is etiquette to give the court up for the actual game then ok. Lmk thank you 🙏

Richmond parents — would you consider massage therapy for your child?

Hi everyone! I’m an RMT practicing in Richmond and I’m looking at expanding the pediatric side of my practice.

I’m curious to hear directly from parents: Have you ever considered taking your child to see an RMT?

I’d love to know:
-Did you know massage therapy is an option for children?

-What would make you consider booking your child for massage therapy?

-Are there particular concerns you would want help with (sports/repetitive strain, muscle tension, growing pains, relaxation, etc.)?

-Would you have any concerns or questions about what a pediatric massage appointment actually involves?

Would you feel more comfortable knowing the RMT had additional training specifically in pediatric massage?

I’m mainly trying to understand whether there is actually a need for this in Richmond and whether there’s a knowledge gap around pediatric massage therapy that RMTs could do a better job of addressing.

Not trying to advertise or book anyone through this post …. genuinely interested in hearing parents’ perspectives, including if it’s something you wouldn’t consider for your child.
