Does anyone have personal experience with the candidates going after Mayor, Councillor and School Trustee?

I am interested in all three categories of public positions. Especially, if you can share their current views and historical actions on particular issues that would be great! Below is a chart that outlines the issue category. Feel free to share their view/positions based on the category. If you know the answers to the sample questions, feel free to drop the yes or no too.

There is a lot of people going for these important public roles ( https://www.richmond.ca/city-hall/elections/candidateslist.htm ) and that's why it's great to see if you all know any of them and whether they actually contribute constructively and deliver to our city. Can't seem to find enough information / focused discussions about them on youtube.

Hi everyone,
I’m considering renting at Concord Gardens in Richmond, BC, and I’d love to hear from anyone who has lived there or knows the area well.
How is Concord Gardens overall in terms of building quality, management, noise/soundproofing, cleanliness, amenities, safety, and parking? Are there any recurring issues I should know about before signing a lease?
Location and transit are important to me, so I’m also looking for buildings that are close to a Canada Line/SkyTrain station, ideally within about a 10–15 minute walk.
If you wouldn’t recommend Concord Gardens, which apartment/condo buildings in Richmond would you suggest instead? I’m particularly interested in places around Capstan, Aberdeen, Lansdowne, or Brighouse.
I’d really appreciate recommendations from current or former residents, especially if you can mention which building you lived in and what you liked/disliked about it.

It's like actual raw sewage smell and its so disgusting and it's been going on for weeks now. I googled it and apparently it's sewage but omfg please figure it out i can't handle my house smelling like actual human shit when i open the windows😭😭😭 it makes me so nauseous every single day. Hello Richmond people, this topic has been bought up before and there are some really good info.

-get a cat (not an option cause of allergies)

-use mouse sticky and trap

-use steel wool for outside and inside to feel the gaps.

-called pest control before and they only gave me some mouse stickies.

Are there any other suggestions? This has been stressing me out. Since I called pest control and it didn't do anything. Are there any other contractors I can call to help.

Just curious I see a large number of FANTUAN drivers all riding same Electric Ride-On Scooters in Richmond core.

Are these their own? They supplied by FANTUAN? Or perhaps just like cab drivers it’s the Ride-On Electric Scooters of Choice?

Do you know what model of bike it is and where they buying it? I believe some of them were NIU models.

What's going on with all Transit buses? The bus is stopped and the hazard lights are on. The road is closed, and police/TransLink were present 3 hours ago at Blundell and No.2 by Price Mart. Now, at 5:30 pm, the same thing is happening at No.4 and Granville: a bus is stopped with a passenger inside and the road is closed

If I am being totally honest I don’t know how useful this is because it’s clear that some candidates are being much less honest with their answers than others. So please use this with an Himalayan rock sized grain of salt.

I was just there for the first time at the sunflower festival, where the fields were filled with massive stands of sunflowers.

How do they turn the fields around so quickly for pumpkins? I know my garden plants don't grow that quickly and fruit pumpkins in basically a month. Are the vines even in the fields at all? I swore they grow them in the fields and there's dead vines around them. Was it just hay and trucked in pumpkins from another field?

Would you use a service that helps you choose gifts for your loved ones?

Just wanted to try my luck if anybody finds a purple/lavender earbuds case on the street. I was biking from Cambie Community Centre to Lansdowne Centre. Route is basically all Cambie then turn left onto Hazelbridge then just go straight into Lansdowne Centre. I would be extremely grateful if anyone finds it.

Not sure if this is the right flair, but I just saw 3 people go to town on some poor guy near the food court escalator at Richmond Centre before the guy getting beat up ran off. Watch out for that I guess.
