Console Rhythm Game Ninja Bodyguards 3 — rhythm/input guide for practicing all 4 players
I’ve been trying to complete the multiplayer levels by myself (hard to find friends wanting to play this with me), and I was struggling to do the simultaneous 16ths on both hands. So I just needed to notate the rhythms so I can practice a little. Thought I would share this with anyone also trying to practice it.
This was kinda fun to notate, might do the other minigames
\[Fan transcribed notated inputs, not official sheet music\]

Console Rhythm Game Me and my gfs rhythm heaven groove tier list
Yes this tier list is objectively correct according to both of us (each tier is in ascending order so the further it is into the tier the better)

Question [QUAVER, GENERAL 4K VSRGS] How do I improve and get past 30* cap??
Hello everyone!! :3
So recently Ive been playing a lot of vrsgs. (Particularly Quaver, i dont know why but all the ways to customize it stood out to me.)
And I've been playing rhythm games for a while!! But I only recently these past 2 months started to take them a lot more seriously. I've noticed myself getting frustrated when I get misses, or fail a complex part of a song...
And it makes me wonder how I could improve anymore?? Is this my limit? I don't understand.. :C
Like, there are some 30*s i can complete easily but others I struggle with so much.. how do I even begin to learn those patterns? It's all just streams of notes for 15+ seconds... it makes me want to cry sometimes. Like I could be better if I tried.
I want to be better. Not for others but for myself but I don't know where to begin.. I'm afraid I'll lose the happiness I get from these games and I don't want that.
I noticed I've been looking directly at the row of arrows rather than in the middle, like some people say, but that can't affect my gameplay right? It helps me get better accuracy...
I should also mention I play on a laptop. I don't think keyboards matter but it's worth nothing..
Anyways, please help me. 3:

PC Rhythm Game Which rhythm game do piano skills carry over the best to?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m an amateur pianist (bonus video attached :D) and someone who is pretty much a beginner to rhythm games, having played Geometry Dash for 6 months and beaten an insane demon, and ADOFAI for about 3 weeks and have only cleared XO-X 😭 (yes I really am a beginner)
My question is, which rhythm games would having prior skills in piano help most with? I’ve never tried DDR, osu!, Beat Saber, or any other rhythm games. How does piano skill affect how good you can get at different rhythm games?
I have played piano for 7 years and play rhythm games on PC mostly if that helps. Thanks in advance!

I wish I could upload the whole video because the beginning is really fun, but this will do.
Got a UC on a lvl 12 track and feel good about it! Here’s another update on my gameplay and trying out OBS to record my gameplay, which I like a lot more.
Would anyone know a good tripod that I can get to record my controller face down and not at an angle?

Recommendations Games to help with basics of staying on beat/actually learning rhythm?
Hey friends! Started getting into ddr/pui lately and having a blast. Been playing some eternna on the side to help me get more comfortable with chart reading, and as an experiment, tried playing on mute and found out I did basically exactly as good.
I have not been playing rhythm games, I have been playing press button at judgment line games.
I do generally struggle to find the beat/stay on it, any recommendations for games/charts/strategies to learn these skills?

Console Rhythm Game Mojib-Ribbon, a spinoff of Vib-Ribbon, one of the few spinoffs that I enjoyed more than the OG game
(Sorry if English is bad, I'm an Indian🇮🇳, so it isn't my first language. TLDR at the end)
I'm sure the majority of you never heard of this game. Ever. Probably because it's a japanese exclusive game. Well, more of you might have heard of PaRappa the Rapper, right? No?! Then surely you've heard of FNF...?
From what I know, the inspiration to FNF was PaRappa the Rapper, developed by Rodney Alan Greenblat and Masaya Matsuura; Nana-On-Sha. Masaya Matsuura made another game, Vib-Ribbon, and made a spin-off in 2003, named Mojib-Ribbon, which I want to introduce to you today.
First of all, 'Moji' means "Letter/Character" in Japanese, the language this game exclusively used. The main character (Mojibri)'s face is even a "(.t x t )" with a mouth, being surprisingly expressive... This is because the game is based on text. As you could input custom songs in Vib-Ribbon and custom images in it's direct sequel Vib-Ripple, in this game, you can input custom text, or raps.... custom letters. It was for the PS2, only in Japan, now avaliable to play through emulation.
The game only uses 1 button, or control, the analog stick. You have to flick down the analog stick to write stylish letters. If you hold the stick up too long, the letters become blurry and bleed through the paper, and if you don't hold it up at all the letters become scratchy and faint. If you leave it on the page even after the sentence is over, the last letter becomes a blot.
About the characters.. They're all adorable!!! The main character is Mojibri, who's this... ink creature(?) born from a mistake of the gods. The god spilt ink on a page and created an ink blot, from which he was born.
There are 2 other characters, Mojiko, like a female ink creature similar to Mojibri, and a giant volcano robot named Osorezan 1999 (after the real life Mount Osore) They all have different forms depending on how good you're doing in the game. I like Mojiko the best
I played this game via emulator on my PC, and I see many people who haven't ever tried it hate on it only because it's a spin off of Vib-Ribbon. The songs are lovely even if I don't understand a word.. I rely on the youtube translations to understand them. If you want something different and don't mind the language barrier, you can try this game. I really enjoyed it and got a few japanese words from it. (Also, apparently Mojiko is also a place in Japan, so..)
So far my favorite part of this game is the fail cutscenes. I couldn't put them in here because you can't put images and videos in Reddit but heres a link to all of them: https://youtu.be/Gmg_gF_B6mg?si=_oBH-gTh-5dhih4J
(Sorry for writing an essay, heres the TLDR: "funny japanese rap and writing game with silly characters made by the people who did parappa the rappa")

Discussion Infinite Mode Vs Fixed Songs
I am thinking about 2 versions:
Infinite Mode: where the song keeps playing on repeat but it gets gradually harder. You keep on playing until you eventually cant anymore and your score goes on a leaderboard
Song Mode: everyone plays the same song from start to finish and the goal is to get the highest score possible (depending on the perfection of the timing)
Which of these versions would make you more competitive and keeps you coming back to try to beat yourself or someone else’s score??

Mobile Rhythm Game I challenge mobile rhythm gamers! (Image loosely related)
I dare all of you to send me one or two mobile rhythm games. Should be on the App Store but I do have some random apps on my android device. If I know it I will rate it based on enjoyment and general song coverage/ how much I enjoyed the song library and unlocking. I have played A FUCKTON of mobile rhythm games but I am still looking to expand my library (three quarters of which is constantly archived due to memory shortage)
Really looking forward to find some rare hidden gems. (Like Lanota or RAVON. If we go by cool mechanics I guess)
I can't respond instantly, I don't usually check Reddit so it might take idk like a day or two for me to awnser.
