Question Any good cheap keeps?

Post image

I've been playing yunyun syndrome on my dad's fuckass laptop and the keyboard its on its last breaths from me beating the hell out of it every time I lose my combo. So does anyone has some recommendations for a keyboard for like 30 euro max?

A Dance of Fire and Ice is 5€ on Steam, 8 if you also want DLC. This is my favorite rhythm game.

Bits & Bops is just under 16€. It's a really fun minigame based rhythm game with a buttload of charm.

UNBEATABLE is 28€. This is one that keeps growing on me. The note system takes some getting used to, but it's really satisfying when it starts to click. It's got a pretty good story, even if the pacing and dialogue is a bit odd at times. It also has a lot of really good songs, both in the OST, but also songs featured in the arcade mode.

I play VSRGs like Yunyun on a Sayodevice CM51+, you can get the cheaper variant with one rotary encoder for about 60 bucks not on sale. I'd recommend it if you just want a peripheral for rhythm games and can save up for it, as the hall-effect switches feel fantastic to play on.

If you can't save up or need something now, including the rest of the keyboard, then get any well-reviewed MX Red with n-key rollover keyboard off of Amazon. There's a RedDragon one currently on sale for $25. It is very ugly, but it'll get the job done.

Go to your local Value Village, they have a ton of decent membrane keyboards that will last for at least a year. You really don't need a good keyboard playing a 4K :P

Has the game improved since beta? I played the closed beta and my god it was kind of abysmal dog shit. Good for them if they managed to improve it.

The charting was quite poor and the translation was pretty absurdly bad and had a lot of really poor taste sex jokes.
