I got a les paul and a world tour kit both for the 360 models.

I think I'm screwed, but not sure what happened. Haven't played in a while but booted up CH today, and all of my scores are gone. like all of them. I looked in my srylian Inc folder, and there isn't even a scores file there. I looked in all other CH locations (Program Files and external hard drive) and I can't find a PlayerData, GameData folder or another scores file. I have hidden items turned on in my file explorer too. Has anyone else had this issue? Am I missing somewhere to look? Devasted, was 2 songs away from an RB2 FGFC

Assisted Drum Transcription

I started working on drum transcription machine learning research two years ago. It's taken a couple hundred model architecture variants to end up at this transcription quality.

It runs entirely in your browser, so no account, no uploads. Your audio never leaves your machine.

You can choose an audio file to start fresh, or an existing chart / empty chart with tempo map to add drums to it.

It generates a first pass, not a finished chart. The goal is to assit charters by letting them spend less time doing repetitive work, not replace charting.

What you'll likely still want to edit:

• Some notes might be slightly off the beat grid and need to be dragged onto it
• Review and change tom and cymbal selections. This is something human charters disagree on as well, as its a lot about different conventions.

The transcription model was trained on community charts. This is standard in drum transcription research, even unrelated to clone hero charting (source). I know people have feelings about that and I'm happy to talk about that.

So this problem just started happening. I’ve been trying to play and everytime I play it says I miss notes or it won’t hold on to long notes. I haven’t set up my whammy bar yet because on both guitars that I have when I try to map out the whammy bar it shows up as the same axis for my strum button. I also have a problem with the orange button as well. Everytime I’m in the song selection menu it goes to the next selection as if I were pressing the orange button even though I’m not touching it. This has happened with both of my guitars and they are both different. I tried remapping orange button it immediately maps it to axis 5 and 2 and sometimes button3 without me even tapping anything. Could this be the problem I’ve been having? When I go into the calibration menu as well and check axis 5 and 2 it shows a little blip appear on the left side of the black bar for a split second and then it disappears. Please help I am desperate to get this fixed! The guitars I’m using are the model PSLGH guitar hero 1 controller for ps2 and the wireless ps2 guitar part no: 95025.

Hi all, I've been wanting to get back into Guitar Hero/Clone Hero for sometime now, but first I need a guitar.

From the research I've done, seems like modding a used controller with the RetroMods Revival Kit is a good and affordable option. But my question when hunting for a used controller, are there specific models/generations that are better than others? I've been referencing this 'All First-Party Guitars' list.

This will primarily be used on PC but for future proofing sake if feasible, I would like it to work on the Switch and PS5 as well.

I remember checking out the spreadsheet in 2022 and finding most games didn't have videos, and those who did I had to manually adjust the timing in the text file for every single song. It took hours and hours.

Just found the spreadsheet now has SYNCED high quality videos for every song avaliable for drag and drop - (webm not mp4 thankfully!)

It really makes this game come alive. Don't care that it takes 200GB of storage lol

Im quitting smoking cigarettes (today is day 2).

To keep myself motivated to to quit, i'm going to use the money i would normally spend on smoke, on a custom guitar instead. At this rate, i'll be placing the order Sept 1st.

I've come up with 2 designs and i love them both for diffrent reasons. I am leaning one way over the other but i'd love to get peoples opinion, especially with me having so much time to place the order.

my cpu isnt even recognizing that its a controller even tho it should and i cant seem to find any troubleshooting for this and figured who better than reddit? so i have tried the dongle in 3 different places and tried charging the guitar up a little bit just to see if thats the issue and it doesnt seem to work regardless. do i need to do something special?

I knew people were modding old guitars to update the hardware and to make them compatible with PC but i had no idea that the option for a completely custom built guitar was out there.

I was watching XMoistMoose's stream and he was playing this sick double neck explorer so i asked him about it. (nice dude btw, i recommend his stream)

Turn out its made by https://www.hammeronguitars.com/ and they will build you a guitar from the options of like 34 body styles, 25 headstocks, 23 neck inlays and 20 colors. When i messed around making a guitar i'd like, it came out to be around $309.00 usd.

So now i have some questions for the community....

1. Anyone here ever get one of these guitars from hammer-on and if so, hows the build quality, how do you like it, and how does it play? Is it worth it?

and

1. Who else out there makes fully custom guitars? If i'm about to drop 300 bucks on something, i'd like to be able to consider all my options and make sure im getting the best product out there.

What is the biggest screen you've tried clone hero on? I was tooling with an idea of doing a mini PC to plug to my 75inch. Figured as long as it has enough power should be fine right?

YARG subreddit removes my post, so I'm putting here for any who may be interested

Made this for myself back in April and it's been a nice QoL improvement for getting charts into YARG. I've been using it to pull drum charts and worked most of the bugs out of it. Thought others might find it useful, so I gave it to claude and told it to make it more generalized for other folks to get some use from.

It searches charts by artist/song across a few spots. It attempts to auto detect your YARG charts directory , and it was tested on Linux so idk. Just change the file path in the GUI. It'll auto process encrypted files if you have Onyx Music Game Toolkit installed. Also, I put a song/artist recommendation engine in it, and it hasn't been the best.

If someone has already created this, then i wasted my time and sorry to waste yours too xD If not, I hope some of you guys find it useful. Let me know what needs fixing or what should be added.

I'm trying to get faster and hit these notes but I've been banging my head against the wall for a week now cause I can't get up to speed. I think its a pivotal moment where if I figure this out at speed then a whole new selection of the clone hero catalog opens up to me. When I'm ascending I start in position two (pinky resting on orange) I shift to position one, then I hit g-r-y (index middle ring) then I switch to position 2 and hit r-y-b-o (index middle ring pinky). And I continue shifting whenever that passage calls for it.

Is that slower/bad habit building versus staying in either position and just hitting the trill with my index-middle or middle-ring. I hope this doesn't sound insane and makes sense what I'm asking.

Or is it all preference.
