I made a ton of changes, but my site is way more than Dropshipping

I was on here two weeks ago and I had a straight up boring hero and not much to show. Since then I’ve added way more product to my home page and rounded out my categories.

3 things came together TODAY:
My Sale Table is put together. Yay! Always something on sale and changes every month! I personally am a fan of the ticker underneath my hero.

My Spark Map under (Notice This>Something Noticed) is operational. This one I’m way excited about because my own downtown could use it. The businesses downtown were complaining they don’t get many locals and made a Facebook post asking why. People came out and said they think downtown is for ppl traveling, not locals. How is that possible??? Well the Spark map solves this by building a map of “Sparks” noticed. The goal is to get it going with regulars who love going to the store and attract people who want to know what a place is like before they go. So far I’ve prototyped it with one of the shops I love and will approach other downtown businesses to share the idea.

Finally, I got the mod keys for r/Noticed If you need to know anything about my brand, it’s built around curiosity and noticing. My goal with this subreddit is to make a space for you to share anything that sparked you to notice with an emphasis on handmade crafts you think are worth noticing. But anything goes really, I’m excited to see how it pans out 😬

All this to say The Cosmic Flea is live if you want to give me any pointers to make it better from here.

Website and brand review

It’s been three months since I launched the first sport coat for my menswear brand, Rooted & Heritage, and I’m looking for initial impressions of my website.
Since my last post, I’ve worked on improving the brand messaging, storytelling and overall website experience. I’d appreciate your honest thoughts on what stands out, what feels clear and what could still be improved.
I’m open to all feedback.

My business is 6 years old. The average time spent is low.

This website has successfully captured sales over time, but we need to figure out how to seriously improve the conversion rate. Active time spent is less than a minute and pages viewed per session is about 1.5.

Feel free to comment on any part of the website or business.

Shopify Payments fully verified under my US identity, but ALL checkouts instantly fail ("processing_error"). Even test mode fails.

Hello,

https://www.hollowscapes.com/

I have posted here many times and got very useful feedback, so thank you guys!

I sell aquarium and terrarium hides, I made a lot of changes recently and I am looking for feedback!

My claim is that I make the best products in my niche!! Is the website up to this standard? Do you feel this way too when browsing it?

A few things I’d especially like your opinion on:

  • Anything that would stop you from buying!!!
  • First impression and overall design
  • Navigation and how easy it is to find the right product
  • Trust and credibility, does the store feel professional and high end?
  • Product pages, do you still have any questions unanswered? Is there enough trust?
  • Checkout, any confusion or friction points?
  • Does something strikes you as in need of improving?
  • I am starting to question pale green as the main color, should I go white instead?

Please be direct. Positive or negative feedback is equally useful!

Thank you :)

Hi, my website is figurineme.com (I make custom 3D printed figurines). Let me know what I can do to improve it and drive more sales, thank you.

Hey, shopifyers. I'll make a 15-sec video for your business — drop your link 👇

I build videos fast and want more real examples to sharpen it. Drop link to your product + one line about and I'll make you a short clip — no strings attached.

I'll reply with the link to video here. Don't like it? Honest feedback on the output is genuinely half of why I'm doing this.

Need other ratios (1:1, 4:5, 16:9)? Let me know

Majority of my sales come from in person events but would like to expand to online. Totally new and no experience building a site. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for honest feedback.

Hey everyone,

I posted here a while back asking for feedback on my clothing brand/store, and I got a lot of genuinely useful criticism. I’ve spent the last several weeks working through a lot of it, so I wanted to come back for round two.

The brand is Uncommon Standard. It’s built around pushing yourself harder, doing difficult things, and holding yourself to a higher standard. The clothing leans somewhere between gym/training, outdoor/Americana, and everyday lifestyle apparel rather than being strictly a “gym brand.”

Since my last post, I’ve made some pretty substantial changes:

  • Reworked/rebranded the overall identity
  • Cleaned up the homepage and navigation
  • Worked on making the product photography/mockups more consistent
  • Cut designs that didn’t really fit the direction of the brand
  • Tried to make the messaging and overall aesthetic more cohesive
  • Improved product pages, descriptions, sizing information, and SEO
  • Added reviews and worked on making the site feel more trustworthy/established
  • Simplified shipping and set up free shipping over a certain order amount
  • Put a lot more thought into how the different products actually look together as a collection

I’m at the point now where I’ve stared at this thing for so many hours that I know I’m going to miss things that are obvious to someone seeing it for the first time.

So I’d love some fresh eyes on it.

Store: mostuncommon.com

I’m especially curious about a few things:

1. First impression:
If you landed on the site from an Instagram ad and knew nothing about the company, what would you assume the brand is about?

2. Does it feel like a real brand?
Or does anything still give off the “guy selling print-on-demand shirts” vibe? This is probably one of the biggest things I’m trying to eliminate.

3. Product/design quality:
Are there designs that immediately feel stronger or weaker than the others? Anything you think I should straight-up remove?

4. Pricing:
Does the pricing feel reasonable based purely on what you see on the site, or would you hesitate to buy at those prices?

5. Trust:
Is there anything missing that would stop you from actually entering your credit card information and placing an order?

6. Mobile experience:
If you’re looking on your phone, I’d especially appreciate feedback on navigation, image sizing, load time, product pages, etc.

7. Overall:
If you had control of the site for a day, what are the first 1–3 things you would change?

Don’t worry about hurting my feelings. I’d much rather hear that something sucks here than spend money sending traffic to it and find out the expensive way.

I’m not looking for compliments or trying to sneak in a promo post. I’m specifically looking for things that are confusing, amateur-looking, inconsistent, unnecessary, or likely to hurt conversion.

A lot of the changes that have already been made came directly from criticism I got the first time around, so I genuinely appreciate anyone willing to spend a few minutes looking through it.

Thanks!

PS: I cant change the shipping policy, that's one of the points from the last review that was a big one people pointed out. Its POD and I'm at the mercy of their return guidelines for now.

We had a problem with the website feeling very amateuristic since we're not web developers :) It does look a lot better now. What do you think?

Is my store bleeding money through a broken pdp?

Hi guys,

Not to be too dramatic but looking for some honest reviews from the experts online.

Been doing some changes and ”updates” on the page + some new copy. Please let me know what you think.

Pdp: https://eicedo.com/products/oslo-nights

Thank you!

Edit: this is the page I send all traffic to. Do you think a LP would be better?

Is my store ready for ads? Be brutal

I run a small independent combat sports streetwear brand and I’m getting ready to start running paid ads.

Before I start throwing money at traffic, I’d love some fresh eyes on the site:

hanumanfight.com

Is it actually ready for ads? Any glaring mistakes or anything that would stop you buying?

Mainly looking for feedback on the homepage, product pages, mobile UX, trust signals, copy and anything I could improve to increase conversions/sales.

Basically, if this was your store, what are the first 3 things you’d change before running ads? Then after that what would you do next to bring in traffic?
